I started with All About Vapor almost 14 years ago when I was forced to quit smoking. After many unsatisfactory visits, I gave up on them 10 years ago and began to drive almost 60 miles to Killeen for my custom juice (Vapor Maven). A year ago,I thought I'd save some time and gas & give them another try. In short, Courtney aka 'Boss Lady' and her crew in the Round Rock shop, have me back as a happy & satisfied customer! During the recent holidays, I was craving some Eggnog vape juice that I used to buy online.. until the FDA started " protecting children and FCK the 60 year-olds who who gave up cigarettes for a safer option"... I have been a customer here for nearly 15 years but at this point I can no longer be one. They now only do mail order because they have left the state. Also, they were late letting us know of this fact. Then twice on different shipments go to use a bottle and the top flies off of it getting all over everything. Fluid just wasted. So when you receive your bottle twist it the opposite direction first then open it. Never in 15 years has this ever happened before. Also, in one of the shipments fluid from somewhere (not from my bottles because they were full) wasted all in the bag. Labels the on bottles were destroyed so we have to figure out which bottles were which since I order different flavors for people in the household. The last shipment the fluid was very harsh and not mixed well. Try the contact the store via emails for questions and issues and you never get a response, so customer service is nonexistent. They sent an email stating they are having trouble with a supplier so some flavors will not be available. Sent an email with the list of flavors I order to see which ones were out. No response at all. I can amend my order if I know which are unavailable, but I can't because there are no communications on this issue. We are now low on fluid so and I place an order. IT'S CANCELLED!!! Guess what, no follow up email on which ones are out of stock. So, I can't amend the order. I am done. There is another place right down the road. I will just stick with them. I like AAV because they do have the best flavors. That's why I have stuck with them through the decades, but this is unacceptable. And there is no one to talk to about this. There is literally no way this boy could have gotten inside my juice after purchase. Either he was in the bottle or in your ingredients to make the juice. Took me a week to even see this in there and got more than half way done with the juice (that was sub par on flavor in the first place as it tasted like air... close to nothing.) Shawn was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. If you are new to the world of e cigarettes, or "vaping" as it is called (instead of smoking), this is the place to go. It is a family business, and the owner, Courtney, is very patient and kind. When I went there today, she gave me a great lesson on all of the varieties of e cigs they sell. She even let me test out all of the varieties of smoke juice (liquid nicotine). Courtney is very knowledgeable about all of the different types of devices. You can tell she has done her research! The liquid nicotine types I tried were delicious! She makes many house blends as well. I ended up buying the eGo-T starter kit. I am very happy with my purchase. But if I end up having buyer's remorse, All About Vapor has a 3 day return policy on e cigs. I previously bought a No. 7 e cig at Planet K. It was awful and did not work properly. The folks at Planet K were unsympathetic and unwilling to refund or exchange the product. Great E-Juice, but that's about where it stops. Don't get me wrong, I've been going to AAV for over a year now and have had some good and some meh experiences there. Typically due to wait times and unavailability of battery and clearomizer/cartomizer stock. Today however customer service took a dive into , I placed an order online for pickup. When arriving at the store they told me that unfortunately the order was not at that store but was at their new store. Welllll... I didn't know there was a new store! And why would you default your online form to default on the new store? In any case, I asked if they could just make the bottles there. (Seeing as the juice is REALLY inexpensive for the company) I was flat out refused. "No, they've already made the bottles at the other store." Even when I mentioned the bottles could be placed in the basket and still make money... she told me they couldn't. Oooooook. IMO it was the perfect moment to make me a DIEHARD AAV CUSTOMER. You know, help someone out on an honest mistake. Taking a little bit of her time (in an empty store) and less than a couple dollar's worth of materials, I would have continued my business there... So I been coming to this place for almost 2 years. I stopped by yesterday to buy some juice. The employee that helped me had me try a different flavor so I did and I really liked it so I purchased the new juice. So this morning I filled up my tank with the new flavor but the problem was that it didn't taste the same as the one I tried so I want back today and explained to them my experience. They said they couldn't exchange it. I asked if I could at least get a discount for buying my old flavor back and they wouldn't even do that ! I have been here a few times. I did not want to write a review till I had visit them a few times to see if my experience would change at all. I have dealt with a few of the employees and there is one I really like dealing with, so I try to get her when I can. The first time I went they were very nice and knowledgeable and that hasn't changed. I already had my set-up, but found out that I had cheap crap. The juice I was using wasn't that great either, I'm so glad a friend of mine told me to try this place out. I have gotten new equipment from them and I have not had any problems with it, better then what I did have. I will not go any where else from now on. Now, I know there are bad reviews on the wait times and what not. Yes you take a number when you walk in the door, and sit and wait till your number is called and that could be a little while. I don't have a problem with this, there are at least 5 people behind the counter, they are just that busy. When you have a good product thats expected. When you have people who really like you, thats to be expected. It's not as bad as others have made it out to be. I wish they would open up a store in South Austin!!! Seriously, I spend so much money on vaping supplies but cannot drive here that much... I guess ill buy my stuff online until they do. Awesome place and everyone is friendly here. Basically, you pick a number then get one on one service from one of their "vapistas" - you get to taste up to 5 of their flavors using disposable cartomizers and they will explain a lot of things you need to know. Our guy was very knowledgeable and helped us out tremendously. Highly recommended specially if you are new to vaping and need some advice. word of advice: if you have the money and are serious in vaping, get a VV (variable voltage) and a tank system - the smoke that comes out of this is 5 times more than a cigarette and is very satisfying. Those gas station e-cigs dont even come close to this... Plan on spending $100 for the VV and some fluids - you will not regret this advice! So, you've decided to quit smoking? Good for you! Best decision you could have made for yourself. You've probably heard a lot about vaping and how it can make the transition from smoker to non-smoker as smooth as a menthol cigarette. And you're right! But, the best advice that I can give you now is to get started through All About Vapor. The All About Vapor staff is, by far, the most knowledgeable on the subject in the Central Texas area. They can quickly assess your vaping needs and provide a kit for you based on how much you smoke and how much you're able to spend. Once that's decided, they will thoroughly and patiently explain everything about your kit until you're completely comfortable using it on your own. I cannot stress how important this is. I've seen product demos at other stores and the customers look just as confused leaving as they did coming in. A good working knowledge of your device will save you the hassle of coming back with questions in the future (difficult if you don't live in the area). As for the liquid, AAV has the best variety in town. A huge selection to choose from and, in my opinion, the best and most consistently good flavors, to boot. Not sure about a flavor? Ask them for a sample. You really can't go wrong. The only reason that I am giving All About Vapor 4 out of 5 stars is because sometimes the wait times are a bit excessive. The staff is so patient and thorough with each customer that the line can get backed up pretty quickly, which is understandable, but difficult if you're in a hurry. You can, however, order online and pick up your items in-store, no waiting--great if you don't need personal attention! Bottom line: All About Vapor is the best store to get you started on your non-smoking adventure. A knowledgeable staff will happily answer all your questions and get you off the cancer stick for life. For veteran vapers, they have the best selection of upgrades and liquid in town. This has been my go to place since they opened their doors. However it appears they no longer care about customers. My order, twice recently, has been delayed despite paying for expidited shipping. It's day 6, and I called, and they stated 'playing catch-up from holidays' as to why it hasn't been filled. 'next in line' they promised at 130 yesterday...but no email this morning stating it's been filled or shipped. So no one works 8 hrs a day anymore? Really? However, there is always a problem with bottles, staffing, no answer to emails, which is how we're advised to contact them. Guess owner doesn't really care anymore or is spread too thin. Today is my 2 week non-smoke-aversary, thanks to AAV! Thinking about using a vaporizer to quit tobacco? DO IT. No really. I've smoked for half my life and I seriously wouldn't smoke a regular cigarette right now if you PAID me. Honestly, this whole "vaping," thing is a little intimidating to someone who has never used the terms ohms, resistance, pg/vg, atomizer, or cartomizer. It's confusing. My husband bought a simple setup from AAV last year and we kinda liked it, but a bout of the flu gave us the push we needed to really quit. So two weeks ago I walked into AAV to upgrade to better quality vaporizers (e-cigs), and I haven't had a cigarette since. Courtney, Lee, and a gentleman whose name I never got made ALL the difference. They have taken the time to explain every little detail and answer every question I could think of. I smell better, I feel better and I'm going to save hella cash. The cool kids aren't smoking anymore you guys, the cool kids are vaping deliciousness from AAV. It gets a little busy in there, so just be patient. What do you expect when all the cool kids are doing it? Ps- Getting the Primo flavor may have been the best/worst idea ever. All About Vapor is definitely far from being all about vapor. In store, the man(mentioned by b m a few posts down) was not very helpful at all. Kind of a d@#$ actually. I bought a 0.6 Nord coil and 100ml of an e juice that I had to recommend and sell to myself. None of my other pods have ever had this problem. I can't even hit it for 2 seconds without it burning. So either I got a bad coil, they are selling counterfeit juice or both. Either way, I am stuck at home on new year's day with nothing but a non working coil and some un vapable crap that burns up right away. Thanks a lot guys. Happy New year. BTW, the people in the shop know nothing of vaping and they make that very clear. They are a liquidation company, plain and simple. Only there are NO liquidation prices. They bought all of their product from a closing business and are just trying to get rid of what they can. So they have no reason to care about return customers. I quit tobacco because I simply walked into this store. I didn't even know for sure if I wanted to quit until I walked in. I had already tried the gas station ecigs (didn't work for me). Once I saw all of the technology AAV had & the amount of flavor combinations, I was sold! They took time to help me find my perfect flavor combo & I never touched another cigarette. I swear this place smells like a cupcake factory.yummie! My friend ended up giving me her vaporizer -YES!- so, I switched from my greensmoke e-cig (looks like a regular cig). The battery seems bigger than what I am use to but, the drag is amazing. Service was good and the person helping me seemed to figure out what I would like, he also gave me a quick run down on cleaning and changing out my wicks. AAV is awesome. My vaping knowledge is middling. I'm no longer a novice, but I'm not blowing my face off with my own mods yet either. I made the trip down from Killeen to try some of their juice and have a look at the hardware they have for sale. I was impressed by both. I didn't go with the intent to purchase any new hardware, but left with (another) VV mod and a box full of accessories. Staff was super knowledgeable and knew all the lingo. They are also willing to let you try out different hardware before you buy. I saw some noobs getting proper training over in the corner and was happy to see that. Now, their juice. Wow is all I can say. Their tobacco blends are incredible, my favorite being "Major League" and "Desert Spice". Their sweet blends are incredibly accurate, and everything packs a powerful flavor punch and has great vapor production. I have by no means tried everything but my favorites are "Father In Law", "Major League", "Desert Spice", "Cherry Limeade", "Wally Wonka", "Rum Daddy", and "Heath Bar". I have been a customer of this shop since they opened. When I moved out of the area, I continued buying their juice because it's so dang good! They've sent my vape through the mail to me for the past 5 years, with no problems. However, I encountered my first last week when I didn't receive an order. I sent two emails, from their link emailed to me, but no response. I finally called from my post office, with my postmaster. Even though it never made it to our post office, my postmaster was willing to write a check out of her own $ to replace it! They agreed to resend the order without charge. They waited two days before they mailed it, and then sent it to Illinois! (I live in Texas, so we now know what happened to the first!). Great Vape Shop. I've been going here for a few months now. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, always willing to listen to my needs and find a solution to keep me vaping without breaking the bank. Recently I bought a bottom feeding tank at a great price and a 5 pack of coils. I was excited that it would keep me vaping for many weeks. The coil started leaking after about a day and I kept getting a mouth full of juice. It was very disappointing. I was hesitant to go back and complain because I didn't save my receipt, but I showed up 4 days later and explained what was happening. They were super helpful and set me up with a better tank that works great! I give them 4 stars for now because it can take a while sometimes to get service. They have moved to a bigger location so hopefully that'll help them move through customers a bit faster soon. I'll gladly bump up to 5 stars if that's how it plays out. read more

In October, it was announced that they were going to ban smoking on all ACC campuses starting in January. Before letting the panic set in, I spent hours and hours researching to find an alternative, and decided to try e-cigs. I even decided which model would best fit my needs. Once it was January, I'd saved enough and was ready to buy my first kit. After I found out that there was a local place to buy one, I decided to go there and buy my kit, even though I could have saved some money ordering online. I really like supporting local if I can, especially since they're the only place in the area that sell legit e-cigs that aren't gas station junk! The ladies are friendly and informative. The e-liquids are awesome, and they'll let you taste anything before you decide to buy it. I go here every two weeks for more liquid, so it's a regular stop now. I was really excited to go to a real vapor shop. However, this place was disappointing. I walked in and people are all just standing or sitting around doing nothing. They had a numbered ticket system. You take a ticket, then wait until they call your number. What do you do while waiting? Twiddle your thumbs. Why? Because they have no stock displayed in the store. You wait to get to the counter to talk to someone. This has to be the worst concept I've ever seen. Their selection is awful. They barely carry anything and fail to live up to the name "all about vapor". I'll wait until something MUCH better comes along since the online shopping for vaping is light years ahead of this dump. They should probably call themselves "Barely enough about vapor". They can sell the juice, which you have to have. They can offer you a VERY small fraction of the selection available online. EGOs (everyone sells these), horrible 510 batteries (dime a dozen), and one mod that I saw which is insanely overpriced. Where are all the options? This place is fine for the complete noob I guess but anyone who's been vaping more than a couple of weeks and has done a few hours of research on all of the products out there will probably be disappointed like I was. UPDATE 3/9/2012: They have really fixed what I was complaining about. I can now go there and get things I need at least so Raising the rating. It was 2 stars, raising to 4. Too busy! Good for them, but the lines are too long, and the time for your personal service is too short. The same juices differed considerably from visit to visit. The quality of the clearomizer supplied with my starter kit was very poor compared with the addl. tank I purchased. The resistances between the two varied by 30%. I don't have enough experience to tell which one is the bad one, but still...I dont feel confident they'd give me a straight answer. To be fair, this product is way to hot for a boutique business model like this store. But, that's not your problem. Do them and yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Its a great looking store, tons of room for the long lines. There was a dog running around in the store. Which I guess I would prefer was not in the place where they are mixing compounds I inhale. read more

I usually come in here every couple of weeks and never have any issues, however after placing an order online and coming in to pick it up after two hours from it being placed they had still not began working on it. Once I brought this to their attention it took another 10 minutes for it to be ready, now there were only two other customers in the store at this time and usually it doesn't take them that long for me to just walk in order some ejuice and pay and leave. Now I love this vape shop and think it's the best chain in Texas, you guys just need to work on the pay online pick up in store system. All About Vapor is fantastic. They are the only true vapor store in an around the Austin, TX area. They offer fantastic individual and individualized service. Every employee I've met has a deep and wide range of product knowledge and has been able to provide excellent and practical advice on switching from smoking tobacco (a tobacco pipe) to exclusively using a vaporizer. When I made the decision to switch from my pipe to an e-cig (electronic cigarette), I had a lot of reservations about switching, not the least of which was the inconsistent and sometimes contradictory information online. The other problem with looking online or purchasing e-cigs and accessories at other places they're sold is that most places had the same limited selection and the same limited answers to my questions - to say nothing of the risk of investing the money in electronic cigarettes and accessories without 1) knowing I would like the flavors and 2) knowing how to use and care for them properly. Making the kind of investment necessary to switch from being a heavy smoker to using an e-cig isn't a small investment, but it is an investment in your health and mental well being. All About Vapor was recommended to me by a serious e-cig vaper - and he was right. I went in, and although the store is small and there was a wait, it was worth it. I was able to sample several flavors and they answered all of my questions. If you are serious about quitting tobacco and switching to e-cigs, this is the place to go. The wait is worth it, and so is the investment. Not only are their prices comparable to online prices, but the level of support, education and instruction you receive is phenomenal. Not only do you receive the instruction and education you need to switch, they provide something that is even more invaluable: empathy. This is something that, I think, is unique to their industry - most, if not all, of the people working at All About Vapor are former smokers. They know what we're going through and what the process of switching from tobacco to the e-cig is like, and that empathy colors their interactions with customers in a very positive way. Because they know what we're going through, they are able to give advice and support that is invaluable in the process. I just found this place today and was very happy I did. The ladies there were very helpful and let me try out a few things. I am new to vaping and am still a smoker. I was trying to find something that worked better than my current e-cigarette. I ended up buying a new Joye ego kit and let me tell you, I am very pleased with it. They throw in a 30ml bottle of juice to go with it. When they asked me what flavor, I ended up asking for black cherry, which they didn't have. She mixed me some up to order (requested strength) and it is wonderful. I am happily vaping now, in my bedroom instead of outside in the heat. I really believe with this product, I really can kick the habit. They also carry parts, carts, batts, and attys.
