If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I called for them thru my insurance at 2am after getting in to a car crash and said they would be here at 4:34 am. It's 4:39 and I called and the guy sounds like he doesn't even know they were supposed to come out. So he says they would be out there in 15 and 20 min. It's 5:20 and they still haven't showed up and I called them 5 times and they kept hanging up the phone. So I cancelled them. After speaking and confirming with the same agent from this Tow Truck company twice that my car is rescheduled to be towed on a different day. They managed to puck it up. My insurance had to sort it out and they used a different towing company instead. They tried to point blame on my car insurance even though he confirmed that he received the new reschedule and I called again in late afternoon to double confirmed. HORRIBLE service, extremely unprofessional. Our car broke down around 10:30 pm. We put in a towing request with a dispatcher called AJ. He said the driver (Alex) would take one hour to reach our location. After about 90 minutes, the driver tells us he's almost there. After another 20 minutes when he had still not shown up, we called back and he said he can't make it. The dispatcher cancels the request after lying to us and giving us an excuse. We were left stranded past midnight while he had to look for another provider. read more

If I could put negative stars, I would. Contacted my insurance company for a tow on my vehicle since someone attempted to steal it and broke my ignition switch. It was mentioned that key wont go in the ignition. Guy comes out, he's a little late which is expected but whatever. He comes and asks if car goes into neutral. I say no since thekey won't go in. These cars have a neutral safety switch under to manually disengage the transmission and put it into neutral. Told the guy about it, he shakes his head and leaves without a word. Then has the audacity to tell my insurance company that I cancelled the service. What a joke of a company. Insurance companies should drop them off their provider list and they need to drop off the towing industry. What a complete joke of a company. read more

Avoid this towing company at all cost! We called our insurance company for towing service. The insurance company reimburses up to $75. When the tow truck driver came, he told my wife the cost is about $50. Then everything went wrong from that point on. (1) First, the stupid guy towed our car to a BMW dealer instead of our auto repair shop on the same street. He didn't even know how to read the destination address provided by our insurance company. (2) Second, he tried to call me a couple of time, saying that we still owe him $150. He is basically trying to rip us off because we had the same towing service with another towing company a year ago and $75 is more than enough to cover the short distance from our home in Palo Alto to the auto repair shop in Mountain View. (3) Lastly, the truck driver tried to separate towing service and labor hourly rate. So he wanted us to pay for separate labor rate for towing to justify for the excessive charge!!! How can one tow a car without working on it? I am still dealing with this company... I plan to make a complaint to my insurance company. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Requested a tow through my insurance for a SPECIALTY vehicle. All Above towing was informed of the type of vehicle, value and ride height (low). I requested a flat bed tow and an experience tow driver to avoid any damage to my vehicle. Driver arrived and I informed him of my concerns. Driver was not confident and appeared inexperienced. Driver continued with the job and assured me he would not damage the front end. I gave the young driver the benefit of the doubt and let him continue. The driver began to pull the front end by a cable and the front spoiler was getting bent/rolled inwards. I stopped him immediately and told him that the front end was getting damaged. The driver replied, "its just rubber." The driver had no respect for my concerns and got upset with me because I told him to stop. Driver then told me he could not complete the tow. He turn around and went into his truck. Driver then left without saying a word to me. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I had to request another tow (Parga Towing)who actually did the right job and placed some boards down to help with the angle. read more

Alex was my designated tow man for the night. He was enjoyed my experience with Alex. He gave me a call when he was about to pull up. Instead of towing my car he offered a solution which was to replaced my flat with a spare I already had. My tools were inferior so that's why I didn't do it in the first place but Alex had everything with him including the big jack. The spare tire was held at the underside of my car but Alex was a professional and was able to take it out and replaced my tire within minutes. read more

As you can see from the numerous negative reviews, this company is as shady as they come. My insurance sent them out to aid in installing a new battery which I had already purchased elsewhere. The guy was about to get out of his car without a mask on and I politely asked him if he had a mask that he could wear. I guess I shouldn't have been considering my own safety because it ticked him off and he started going off on the uselessness of masks, etc. He finally put one on, not sure what made him change his mind. He was incredibly grouchy the entire time and even dropped a WRENCH into my car's interior! I'm SO grateful that we witnessed him dropping it because he was unable to retrieve it and was happy to leave the scene without getting it out of my car. I gave him a hassle and finally he was able to get it out and then awkwardly stood in front of my car waiting for a tip which he never received for the reasons listed above. I called to have my car towed on Monday at 10:30. At around 11:30 I called to see where the tow truck was and I was told they were 30 minutes away. At 12:30 I called to see where the tow truck was and I was told they're about 15 minutes away. At 1 the tow truck driver called me to say he's on his way but that he's down in San Jose. Plain and simple, the driver AND the dispatch didn't know the difference between a flat bed, aka a rollback, and a wheel lift truck. Furthermore, when I politely tried to explain that the truck they sent was not a flat bed and that's what we required, he argued with me and got upset when I decided to opt for a different towing company. My bmw gave me a low oil pressure warning and to immediately pull over and continuous driving will harm the engine. Called my geico for roadside assistance and all above towing responded quickly so that was nice. My car couldn't turn on anymore and when it did it WOULD struggle and sounded terrible, I knew I couldn't leave it running for very long. The tow driver arrives and asks what my problem is and I tell them it died on me and the engine is running terribly and he seems to doubt me. He then asked for the keys and TURNS MY CAR ON even though I told him it can permanently damage my engine. He left it idling for a few minutes and it hurt my soul hearing how bad the engine was running and this tow driver didn't seem to care. Finally got it home and I tried to turn it on to put into neutral and the car's engine is completely seized. Doesn't even want to crank. Allstate's website led me to them and I won't ever use them again. I asked if they were in San Jose but the (outsourced to India/Bangladesh?) livechat didn't answer. Supposedly there is an All Above franchise in Santa Clara but it's not listed on Yelp. Took 1 1/2 hours for them to arrive. Hard to believe they were the first ones available. The tow truck driver seemed to do his best and I believe he was honest, but this seems like one of those scammy sub-contracting deals. The tow truck did not have the All Above name on it or license number. I did not get a receipt and WOW was it an ordeal to get one!! The way the company communicated with me was by sending me a 5-digit phone code instead of a telephone number (each time telling me that it might cost me money)(interestingly the livechat was Indian and they sent me only to an Indian/Indian-American business. It made me wonder if there was some kind of payola going on) I got the driver's number and he tried his best to get me a receipt but he did not know the name or number of his dispatcher!!! I left a message and emailed the All-Above towing company requesting a receipt and never heard a thing. Finally, when my credit card company came in, Allstate was able to provide a receipt for me. Terrible towing service. My insurance company dispatched this company to tow my car. Told me ETA was 45mins - 1hr. Waited almost 2 hrs before the driver finally came (his dispatch said he tried to call me but I received no calls). I told insurance it was underground parking and the clearance level to make sure they sent a tow truck that fit, but they sent one that couldn't even fit. And they told my insurance company they saw all the info in the notes but still dispatched it. What a waste of time. read more
