We are sitting in front of the store five minutes before the appointment and they cancel the appointment at the last minute. Today we show up again for the appointment and they say it might be three or four hours before they even get to my dog And another three or four hours to bathe him. So what is the point of making an appointment? Then the groomer gets very sarcastic to me as I am talking to her. These people are incompetent and obviously do not need the business.

I left armed and dangerous with a newfound joy, properly outfitted, knowledge and enthusiasm for my ignored winged neighbors. I can't recommend Birds Unlimited enough. Wild Birds Unlimited great in setting us up with a feeder and bird food. Staff were excellent with information about birds in the area and recommendations on the best bird seed. At no time was there an attempt to up sale or push us to higher priced feeders or other products. Based upon Wild Birds Unlimited recommendations we now have many birds coming the feeder and it's great fun watching. Our next purchase will be wind chimes they have several to choose from. I messaged and they got back to me immediately, even though they were not yet open and let me know I could bring in my bird anytime before 4. It was all of 5 minutes- maybe. The cost? Literal pennies compared to the Vet, who I still haven't heard back from... The lady who helped me was amazing. And quick. And kind. I'll be back for sure absolutely and my canary is feeling so much better now!

They are legally required to refund the money if they cancel the order on their end if they don't provide the goods or services. Considering taking legal action if they don't reply back or I can't find another way to reach out to them.

When you walk in it REALLY smells like a pet store. But it looked clean and the tanks were clean. Some did seem really small for the animals they had in them. That did make me feel bad for the animals. The staff was nice. I didn't have any questions for them so I'm not sure how knowledgeable they are on everything. They did show me their new store cat who is very cute and they said the back area is very large for him. The pricing seems comparable to other places I've been as well as some online places I've looked into.

When a Tiny Sparrow Needed Help, They Said Yes…read more.. While on vacation in Utah this June, we came across a tiny, helpless baby sparrow in the middle of the road during a hike with our dogs. After consulting experts and waiting to see if the mother would return, it became clear that the bird needed help. We were referred to Wasatch Exotic Pet Care, even though it meant driving another hour. When we arrived, Madi greeted us with genuine compassion and kindness. She never hesitated, never said "no," and immediately brought the baby bird back to the veterinarian on staff. Her passion for helping animals was evident from the moment we walked through the door. The clinic requested only a small donation, but this little bird, whom I named Jeremiah, felt like a divine appointment. We were grateful for the opportunity to support people who dedicate themselves to caring for animals in need. What touched us even more was receiving a beautiful, heartfelt thank-you card from Dr. Harris expressing appreciation for our donation. That simple act of kindness spoke volumes about the team's character and gratitude. May that generosity and the good work they do continue to multiply and bless countless animals and families. The vet clinic knew and we discussed that I travelled a couple hours (each way) for the treatment. Despite pre-paying for a noon appointment, It still took them 6 hours. Made multiple excuses for their slowness. What they won't tell you (but the vet told me after the fact) is this vet clinic is an emergency clinic, and your appointment time means nothing. They will get to your non-emergent pet whenever they get to it. In my case, exam and treatment began 5 hours after appointment time. Might work for locals with unlimited flexibility, but not customers who travel to the clinic. Lots of miscommunication between receptionist and me despite me telling them I had obligations in the evening at home that I had to cancel last minute because they didn't communicate any of their odd business practice ahead of time. I couldn't get the treatment and release of my bird for until 6pm. Appointments mean nothing to them. Their store front is full of political/social political messages. Unprofessional business environment.

We went into PetSmart to buy a 50-cent fish, and somehow this turned into the most ridiculous experience. The employees wanted me to tell them the exact dimensions of my tank and basically everything that was in it before they would sell me the fish. Like... am I supposed to have the exact measurements and entire contents of my fish tank memorized off the top of my head while I'm standing in the store?! I came in to buy a 50-cent fish, not take a pop quiz about my aquarium. Then they told me they would not sell me the fish because they didn't think I was bringing it to a safe location. Excuse me?! You have no idea where I'm taking it, what my setup looks like, or how I care for my fish, yet you decided I wasn't providing a safe environment based on a few questions I couldn't answer perfectly on the spot. And this is what REALLY gets me: PetSmart had well over 200 fish crammed into a small tank together, but they refused to sell me ONE fish to put in my own larger tank, which is actually bigger than the tank they had all of those fish living in. If that store tank is supposedly acceptable for hundreds of fish, then why is my much larger tank supposedly not safe for one fish?! The fish was 50 CENTS. What more could I possibly be asking for?! I wasn't asking for some exotic animal or something unreasonable. I wanted ONE little fish. Apparently, though, I'm expected to spend $40+ on a new tank because the tank I already have supposedly isn't good enough. If there is a specific tank size required to purchase a fish, THAT NEEDS TO BE CLEARLY ADVERTISED BEFORE CUSTOMERS WAIT IN LINE TO GET A FISH. Don't advertise a 50-cent fish and then suddenly tell people they need to spend $40+ before they can take it home. It is also pretty ironic that PetSmart will put the fish in a tiny plastic bag for you to carry it home in, but then act like you need an extremely specific setup for it to live in. If these standards are so important, they should be consistently applied. And honestly, the employees' attitudes were the worst part. They were incredibly rude, dismissive, and acted like they couldn't care less. I understand wanting to make sure animals are going to safe homes, and I completely support responsible pet ownership. But there is a respectful way to explain a policy, and this was NOT it. If PetSmart truly believes a fish needs a certain size tank to be safe and healthy, then PetSmart should make sure the fish in their own store are being kept according to those same standards. I left the store genuinely shocked that I was refused a 50-cent fish because they decided my home wasn't safe without even seeing it. The entire situation could have been handled politely and professionally, but instead the employees were rude and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. PetSmart, do better. Be clearer about your requirements, treat customers with respect, and maybe make sure your own fish displays reflect the standards you expect customers to follow.
