Great diner-style breakfast. Closet you'll find to northeastern style... still miss home fries as they serve hashbrowns but I'll live since its delicous! We went here to get breakfast as a family. My husband asked if they had biscuits and gravy and the lady working the front yelled NO just biscuits and pointed at the menu. Then he said ok.. Can I have this donut and this donut to go? And pointed to 2 donuts. And she grabbed 2 of the wrong donuts and put them in a bag and said what will you be paying with? My husband said mam those are the wrong donuts and she replied are you paying with a credit card? This is a waste of my time! And tossed the donuts at my husband. She was extremely rude. We won't be going back there ever and I suggest no one else does either! I give it a 1 for their rudeness and total disrespect for their customers. I asked a simple question of, "could you please cook my burger medium." She meaning the owner, states, the burger, the burger? We have certain standards and it is agains health code and I don't have time for that." A simple polite statement of, we only cook our burgers well done would be sufficient. She was very rude and it was totally embarrassing. Her customer service is terrible and I have eaten her serval times before and let me assure you this will be my last. A couple of weekends ago, we stopped here in between games of a baseball tournament. The lady behind the counter was gracious enough to warn us that it would take 30 minutes to get our food. We risked staying because the place looked way too cool. She was correct, it took all of 30 minutes. The boys ate on the way back to the fields and I waited until I was sitting in the stands. I opened up my breakfast to realize I had not brought any salt or pepper or ketchup. Disappointed but hungry and the restaurant was way too far away, I decided to just eat and worry about a better meal later. GOOD GRIEF. Nothing, I mean nothing, needed anything more than what was on my plate. Eggs, bacon and hashbrowns so tasty I could not let it go all day. Four dollars for a bagel with cream cheese, wait FOUR DOLLARS FOR A CRAPPY BAGEL WITH CREAM CHEESE. Again another rip-off for the land of terrible food and ignorant eaters - the south. Where you can get a dozen FRESH bagels for $6.00 to $8.00 this dump thinks their prepackaged bagels and bottom of the line cream cheese could garner these prices is laughable. I'm not a person to blast a restaraunt. But this was the worst experience with any business I have ever encountered. The lady asked what we wanted when we came in and I said I don't know. She said "well we close at 12..." (It was 11:50) and then and she ran my card 4 times. When I saw it hit my account 4 times she laughed and yelled at me. When I said I would just take my business somewhere else after her tongue lashing, she refused to refund any of my money. Her husband then hit involved and gave me the same yelling. This place is the cleanest restaurant in Murfreesboro. You should get to know these hard working people because they genuinely try to give you their best. The food is excellent. Breakfast anytime. And on a personal note; I'm a clean freak and so are the owners of All American Cafe. The bathrooms are clean! There is plenty of hot water, soap, and real paper towels for their customers. This means a lot to most customers, especially women. Nobody is going to over charge you, cough on you....(good grief!) and the clown won't scare physiologically well people. Watch the clown next time he advertises the business. He never makes eye contact, he doesn't say a word and he's always polite. Reader, these people are banning out an honest living. I wanted to go to a new place. I had seen the clown and thought I would take my kids there and give it a try. What I found was something I thought I would never have again, a great Philly sandwich. It was so good that the whole next week I kept thinking about it until I told my Wife we had to go back. OMG it is soooo good. My Kids loved the fresh French fries and Burgers and dogs. The service was something I haven't seen at a restaurant in a long time. The staff was friendly, kind, and cared what we thought and wanted to make us happy. You should give this place a try. This place is pretty good...been wanting to try it for a while and finally stopped in today. We got the double bomb burger which was great, the breakfast philly which would have been great if it had more bell pepper and onion, and the loaded hash browns with an egg on top which was delicious. Everything was nice and hot and fresh. Definitely going to go back and try their omelettes and some of their other interesting sandwiches. Place was clean and people were very friendly. We tried this place on a Sunday morning based on the mostly good reviews. We were sorely disappointed. It is oddly decorated with off kilter pictures everywhere, but if everything else was good, that could just give it a cool dive atmosphere. But nothing else was good. The menu on the wall contains no descriptors, just names of dishes and it was a bit confusing. I finally found a take out menu and that helped a little. My husband ordered the breakfast plate with eggs, bacon and hash browns. He thought he ordered the combo, but evidently the lady at the register misunderstood. So no doughnut for him. Maybe if she didn't talk over him she would have heard. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. We waited 40 minutes for our food surrounded by pictures of a clown who looks as if he is homeless, living in a windowless van down by the river and asking kids if they want any candy. It did not make the wait less frustrating. Our food was okay to bad. My hash was okay, my eggs were bad. My husbands eggs were okay, his bacon was bad. If we had not been held hostage by having paid when we ordered, we would have left. Pass this place up. Head to Waffle House instead. It's cheaper and the food is better. read more

I visited this place with a friend after calling to see what time they opened. The owner Ana told us over phone she stopped serving breakfast at 12 but stopped taking orders to eat in the restaurant at 11:45, which was not a problem because we knew we would make it before then. We did; however, when we walked in(I'm assuming after she saw us) she decided after 15 minutes before telling is she would still be taking orders until 11:45, that she was only taking to go orders because she had to go pick up her child. I do understand that, but she was totally rude about it and this was a business establishment in which she is being paid to serve. It seemed to me she decided not to serve after seeing we were black. After deciding to leave, I went back in the store to ask for the owner because I just didn't feel that it was very friendly to be so rude to customers, then she stated she was the owner and she didn't care. I will never spend my money in this establishment and would not EVER recommend it to anyone else. read more
