Juan and Edgar came out to replace my garbage disposal but their diagnosis found a blocked pipe. While Juan fixed the blockage Edgar asked if I had any other issues. I explained I had a dripping shower and running toilet and double water bill. He checked my water meter, it was ok, then he checked the water pressure and found it was too high. They are coming back to replace my valve, shower leak and toilet issue caused by the high pressure. My water bill should go down too! They were so friendly and cleaned up everything perfect. Water leaked from our condo to the unit below. Emilio from Exodus came out and determined that the toilet had not been installed to code and caused the leak. Whoever originally installed the toilet took a shortcut - the flange on which the toilet rested was too short. Instead of fixing the flange, the original installer stacked 2 wax rings, one on top of the other. Emilio found the problem and fixed it the right way. I used Exodus Plumbing about a year ago to take care of a toilet issue. I was pretty pleased with the service at the time and wrote a Google review for them. I have also referred them to friends who asked me if I knew a good and reliable plumbing company. Today, I used Exodus to address a long going concern of mine regarding the condition of my cast iron main drain pipes, as I want to address and prevent any future headaches, considering many houses in my area were built in the 50's or 60's, and some of my neighbors have had to undergo major trench digging etc to replace their main sewer line due to their cast iron pipes corroding and breaking up resulting in water damage to their premises. I noticed that Exodus on their website has the service for pipe bursting/relining/trenchless repairs, so I decided to give them a call to come out to my home for an estimate. Today, the technician, Gilbert, and a co- worker came on time for my scheduled appointment. Gilbert thoroughly explained to me the process of first starting to diagnose the issues by using a camera first to examine the pipes from 2 sides: the vent on my roof and from the other end of my house extending from the main sewer line. Both employees were professional, friendly and respectful. I was relieved to see via the camera video results that my cast iron pipes were still in good shape without any major issues. Gilbert recommended that I just get my drains cleaned through hydrojetting.
