It is designed for bare floors and was a reasonable price. But we weren't ready for that yet, so we are going to get more use out of our now rejuvenated old one and replace it at a later date. I feel safe in saying that you will always be treated fairly here and he will save you money when he can. I suppose I should give a pandemic update as well for those who care. This is a very small store, but not busy. So he doesn't wear a mask or encourage them, though he has a small air purifier on hand. He stated he doesn't know anyone who has gotten COVID but knows three people who have died of the flu, so if you feel the pandemic is overrated, you will find a sympathetic ear. From the very first visit, we explained the urgency of fixing the refrigerator: my father is bedridden and seriously ill, and my mother is also elderly. They are home 24 hours a day, and the constant noise is very distressing for them. He simply refused to replace the parts again. We have called multiple times--both my father's caregivers and I, his daughter.
