And, of course, it occurred on a Sunday afternoon. Knowing that the company handling my warranty would not be available for at least a few days, I searched out to companies that were available 24/7. Orlando Appliance Repair was one of those companies. Upon calling, the customer service rep put me in touch with their field-rep, Igor. I described the problem and he planned to show withing two hours or less ... on a Sunday afternoon! My refrigerator came back online and I contacted Igor to make him aware and cancel my appointment. He understood and just simply cancelled my appointment without fuss or cost. About two weeks later, the technician arrived with the part and began working in my utility room without announcing his presence. I contacted the company after he left because I was very unhappy that my dryer was left in pieces, with none of the internal components connected. I spoke with the office manager, who informed me that their policy is to leave unrepairable items disassembled. After much discussion, I was refunded the initial $160 trip charge. Based on RoadRunner's assessment, I purchased a new dryer, installed it, and encountered the same issue: the unit would turn on and immediately shut off. I checked the electrical connection and discovered a neutral fault in the outlet. The outlet should have been the first thing the technician checked, but instead, they destroyed a perfectly good dryer. Their incompetence has cost me the $800 I paid for the old dryer and $500 for the less expensive replacement. On 11/25/24 I requested a call from the owner to discuss options for resolution, but my request has not yet been honored.

They are not out to rip you off and they want to make sure you are satisfied. Yes, there is a $75 trip charge but that is standard for almost every profession now. Great Customer Service!!!…read more I called Hartman's Appliance to schedule a repair on my whirlpool front load washer in my MotorCoach, after dealing with another appliance repair company in south Florida during a recent trip and totally getting ripped off but that's another story, I was relieved to find a appliance repair company with integrity. The other repair company I thought had trouble-shot the issue which was a simple door switch but after the Hartman Technician looked at the washer and lookEd online, he found the washer had issues with an interface module that whirlpool has issued a recall that will require me to get authorization through whirlpool before this issue can be resolved but the technician did provide me with all the information I need to get the problem resolved. Being the other appliance repair company stole the door switch part he removed and has refused to ship me the old part, the new replacement part or refund the $148 he required prior to ordering the part. The Hartman Technician installed a new door switch and put the washer back together and walked me through the whirlpool recall / repair process, so they will definitely be involved once things are settled with Whirlpool. I cannot say enough about the customer service they provided from the start of the process which began with Pattie who took down the details and set up the service call, she was awesome and I really appreciate her communication skills, I also know Christine was involved to ensure the tech was provided with accurate information and finally the technician I'm sorry but I think he name was Jason he was very knowledgeable, professional and took great care when working inside my MotorCoach while working on the washer. He said he doesn't do that and charged me $140 to tell me my frig isn't working. I don't know what gave it away that my frig wasn't working, perhaps me opening the door and it's not cold. $140 to tell me that it's not working and they won't repair it. I call 3 other repair vendors, and they told me that they take care of calling LG, getting the parts, and repairing my frig. Of course I would have to pay labor (which was expected). In the end, be careful with this vendor. I would definitely not use them for anything. I own other homes and I'm always looking for reliable vendors, this one is not one of them. I guess they don't need my money.
