He came out to diagnose our hvac issue and refused to actually look at the outside unit, said he didn't want to have to "crawl through the bushes" when our hvac is easily accessible and can be walked up to. He only listened to the airflow, and incorrectly diagnosed the issue. He said he does not understand or have any knowledge of modern thermostats like the Nest, and prefers ones made 40+ years ago. That's fine for his opinion, but someone in his profession should understand the products they are being paid to service. He asked to use our tools, borrowed our step stool and asked for help holding things, and screwing and unscrewing the cover to the heat pump. He charged us $250 that he only accepts in a check form, and didn't even come close to fixing the issue. Our unit stopped working shortly after. It turns out our old system had an issue on the outside unit itself which was quickly diagnosed when we called someone else to come help us. It was an issue that would have been caught if someone had simply opened up the cover and looked inside which is what you would expect from an hvac technician. Not to mention the unprompted political rants in our house. Very weird, absolutely do not recommend. He gets one star for answering the phone and giving suggestions, all which turned out to be incorrect but it was a nice gesture. read more

While staying in a short term rental we needed to get some repairs done on the heater. The property management company set up the appointment. Steve got in touch the same day and setup the appointment for the next day. Steve provided frequent updates for arrival time and was very punctual. The repair went very well and Steve kept us informed throughout the process. He showed us what he was doing and obviously takes great pride in the quality of his work. Beware don't let the hearing aids fool you he is a crooked business owner he tried to take advantage of my sister and charged her $139.00 to inspect air conditioner and when he arrived he told her he only took cash (be aware IRS). He told her the price to put refrigerant in the air conditioner was $600 dollars and if there was a leak in the brand new air conditioner it was going to be $1600. I told him to get his tools and get off the property immediately I knew he was crooked. On Monday called reputable company and the cost was $65.00. He is very unprofessional, rude, and a raciest. Nice guy, very experienced, he came out and diagnosed my problem quickly (primary drain clogged and secondary had been used until the drain pan rusted and started leaking). Yippee! We have cold air!!! In our new home for almost a year and the AC started blowing room temperate air AGAIN. (It did it when we first moved in.) This person called me back and was very apologetic. So I listened to his speech on the phone. He said he was very sorry for hurting me personally. And I explained to him that I did not feel that he had hurt me at all and I did not state that in my review. Then he began to rant about how what I wrote did not occur at all and that I was out to hurt him personally. And that I was out to get him. I explained to him that I appreciated the call but I don't appreciate it if he was apologizing so that he can argue his point of view. If a business receives multiple one star reviews and calls all his customers who gave him a one star so that he can argue his point, then I don't think that he should be in the business to begin with. Excellent service! I got a technician to fix my A/C on very short notice- I called in the morning and had a repairman the before noon. Very professional and had my system up and running in no time! What a Joke! Call and speak to a Steve who promises to call me back the next morning by 10 to let me know what time he will be out ... and never calls. I give him a couple extra hours to give him the benefit of the doubt ... still nothing. So I had to call him because I really needed someone to come out, and he can't remember who I am or that he was going to call me back! Jokes about how busy he is and how he has so many jobs lined up ... basically too busy and can't handle the workload to call me back.
