The only issue was that the timer doesn't work. We weren't sure if the clothes were drying before the timer went off but after the 3rd day of using it, we left in the morning to run errands for a few hours while drying clothes for 30mins and when we returned home later that after noon the dryer was still running. I do recall the sales lady highly recommended the Roper dryer while I was interested in other dryers. But of course she swindle me into purchasing the Roper to which I should have returned within the 7day refund policy. Timer may not be a big deal but As a mother of two, full time student, and full time job, the timer would help a lot so the clothes don't burn or shrink or increase my gas bill.

Unfortunately with LG dryers, the fuses are built into the valve itself so the entire valve needed to be replaced. I purchased an OEM replacement valve and he installed it for me for a very reasonable price. It's been a couple weeks and my dryer is working perfectly. He even gave me a couple of tips on maintaining my appliances to keep them in good shape! Smart Appliance Repair was referred as part of the LG Authorized Appliance Repair affiliates or…read morecontractor. They came out to fix the LG refrigerator. After a 1 month back and fourth communication, it did not get fixed. The problem was the compressor which was covered under a 10 year LG manufacturer warranty program but had to pay for the labor ($390). After they installed the compressor, it was not cooling at all. I called the next day to tell him that and he said to wait 24 hours. Still did not work. He came back and said the coil line was leaking and wanted to charge me for that part but i called LG and they covered the part for me. After he installed it, it still did not work. Then the owner(service guy) said "go buy a new fridge because I don't know why this is not working". I then asked for a refund of the labor i paid him and he refused (receipt attached). Do not do business with this company. I suspect the owner is making correct diagnosis of appliances but then making unnecessary repairs to get money. I would avoid this company at all costs and look for someone more professional.
