The actual work done by the team was good, but I'm really disappointed with how the pricing and quoting process was handled. I was explicitly told that the $150 dispatch/estimate fee would be applied toward the balance of the work that needed to be done. However, when the technician arrived, they quoted me $715 and didn't honor that agreement--so I essentially ended up paying $150 just for someone to stand in my home for 5 minutes. Because I had already sunk the $150 into the visit, I felt stuck and felt like I had no choice but to just pay the higher amount to get the job done. While the service itself was fine, the communication felt misleading. Just a heads-up to future customers: make sure to get your initial quote details and promotional offers in writing before they show up. read more

I had these destructive ground squirrels in my garden and I didn't want to kill them. So I called this company since they had very good reviews, but I didn't expect them to just be passive about the capture of those squirrels. Steve showed up and said he would come back and place another trap because he likes to have two for the squirrels, but all of his traps were all used up. He never came back. He mentioned that there were other fees: $55 fee if the trap had an animal and it was found dead on top of that $85 retrieval free so it's so you're looking at $140. He said $45 for having to reset the trap if it happens to trip and he came out again. I wasn't told to wear gloves to diminish the human scent from being attached to it. The trap went off and the squirrel was able to get some of the peanut butter but the trap didn't work. I've read that sometimes the squirrels tail may be too long and could prevent the trap from closing, allowing for its escape so a larger trap may have been needed. You're better off buying the $50 HAVAHEART 1025 model trap and setting it yourself. If you're looking to capture the animals fast, this isn't the way. I expected a more active approach. read more

The tech was unprofessional, I unfortunately I did not get his name. I contact All City Animal trapping via yelp and was told someone will call me the following day for an appointment. I received a call in the morning from the tech stating he will be there in 40 minutes, granted people have jobs and things to do, I was okay with the window provided then he called stating he was outside and I was not home and I said I had an eta of 10 mins. I felt rushed as his tone was disrespectful. He proceeded with I have another appointment around the corner but they're not home that's why I'm coming to you first. I said you can come after that appointment then, he said there will be an additional cost for returning to your location. I said I would call and ask for another tech for service and was told "I'm the only one who works this area". I have never had someone call me the day of to schedule and appointment at such a short window. And that techs responses and attitude were unacceptable especially when running a business. read more

I recently contacted All City Animal Trapping for help with a skunk problem. Skunk was persistanly trying to set up under my tuff shed and nothing I could do would get/keep it/them away. I contacted All City Animal Trapping and in short order Steve arrived and set up a baited trap. We were fortunate to catch a skunk on the first night. Unfortunately, there was apparently another skunk still trying to set up housekeeping under my shed - it took another few nights before that skunk was also trapped. I am happy to say there has been no new activity and I have taken the steps Steve advised that would help to discourage a return. The trap was here for 2 weeks. During that time Steve would check in and was encouraging and helped relieve my very real anxiety. I had a pest problem (Raccoon) and researched trappers. All-City Animal Trapping came out on top! Travis came out and set up a live trap. He also educated me on the process of checking the trap daily, and notify the company if I caught something. Eventually, the raccoon was captured and I had them pick up the trap (and the raccoon). Just had Steve from All City come out to do a full inspection of our attic area because we have been hearing strange noises periodically and thought we had a critter or critters living up there. He did a thorough sweep (twice through) of the attic and all the vents and absolutely nothing had been disturbed -- no droppings, no torn insulation and no access from the sealed vents. So, the good news is no animals...but the bad news is...we still aren't sure what could be making the noise. We have had crows on our roof a lot over the years, so possibly a nest up there? Appreciate his thorough and prompt response (called yesterday for today's appointment and he was here an hour or so earlier than expected).
