I came across G's Carpet Cleaning, may i add GREAT WEBSITE, and was quickly aware of what their business motto was. i scheduled my free estimate and was met by the owner. The man knew his stuff let me tell you. After much discussion and feeling comfortable with his cleaning process I had them picked up. I have to say, the service from start to finish is as pristine and professional as it gets. When was the last time a service contractor took his shoes off at your door? anyway, long story short... the rugs come back after about 6-8 days and i was quite amazed. I had forgotten that the silk even shined at one point. The rugs looks quite new, the odor from the dogs was removed and i received complimentary padding. I have to say, I am big on professionalism, courtesy and people who keep it honest. These guys did all three and I have gone on to schedule my furniture and wood floors to them as well. I contacted a few places through Yelp and Huntington Rug Cleaning offered the most reasonable and transparent pricing, quickest turnaround time, and didn't require a deposit. (Payment is made when rugs are delivered). I also liked the fact that they're locally owned and have been in business for decades. They say timing is everything, and it just so happened that when I called the owner (Robert) he said his son/employee (Jake) was in my nabe and offered to send him right over for a free estimate. Jake is super knowledgeable and friendly, first we chatted about rugs, movies and other stuff. Then we agreed on a reasonable price for cleaning and a new rug pad, and my dirty rugs were whisked away. Jake stayed in touch over the week and even sent me a Youtube video of the rugs being cleaned! Just got the rugs back and they look and smell fantastic, can hardly recognize them (in a good way). A week later, my dryer had condensation issue so I called and spoke to Nick, Nick was very nice, he went back to the video and reassured me that there shouldn't be any blockage in my dryer vent. Regardless he offered to come back to recheck the dryer vent. Subsequently my dryer issue went away by itself and no need for the recheck. I highly recommend this company. They are professional and the price is competitive.
