Terrible job trying to clean my fine rug. charged us a lot of money and returned the rug in worse condition.

I used fabracleen to re-seal and update my limestone in my shower and over my vanity. The salesperson said it would look like new. It made no change. They came back to re-do it which I appreciated but it didn't work and they would not offer any partial refund. The salesperson should have known the service wouldn't work on limestone. Scheduled a sofa cleaning in advance and took time off to be home. Cleaning crew did not bring the proper cleaning materials for the sofa seat. They offered to omit the seat cleaning and do half the job for 75% of the quoted price. Rip off alert. This is after they attempted to jack up the cost from the quoted price when they arrived. The cleaners were instructed to not even clean under the seat of the sofa, which is part of cleaning a sofa. They left having done none of the requested job. Absolute waste of time. read more

I installed new marble tile flooring in my bathroom during an apartment renovation. The contractor never told me the entire floor needed to be sealed. Within a year or two, the marble became stained and damaged. I called Fabra-Cleeen. They gave me a fair estimate, and sen their guys over. They polished the marble floor (and also the marble sink counter), and sealed the marble. It looks brand new. Great service, fair price, and everyone was super professional and courteous. Fabra Cleen does a very good job cleaning my sofas and I've used them for several years. However, it is always a hassle getting them to commit to a specific time frame for an appointment. This year I called well in advance, asking for the first appointment on any morning in August. I waited a couple of weeks for the appt. because they promised me I would be first that day. The guy was supposed to come between 9 and 9:30. They called me at 9:30 saying their worker would be here by 10:00. He showed up at 10:30. The reason? A couch emergency(!!) they had to attend to at 7:00 a.m. This is unacceptable to me and shows a disregard for their customers' convenience. I will definitely look elsewhere next time. read more

They were amazing. I spilled a whole cup of coffee on one rug, and the other rug had water Stains from a leaky heater. They spot cleaned both rugs for a very resonable price and said to Call them when the rugs dried because they might need to come back. They were very professional and couldn't have been nicer. They came back twice to get out the stains and never had an attitude, and didn't charge me any more. They are an old fashioned, reliable Company who want to please their customers. While puppy sitting, my friend's dog peed on my sofa and it soaked through even to the foam beneath. I tried some quick home remedies with white vinegar and baking soda, which helped with the smell but the water ring and yellow dye was still there. Fabra-Cleen came the next week and were able to get it out with a thorough cleaning. The sofa looks brand new - I'm so happy! Spectacular work by Fabra Cleen. I didn't have the foresight to take before and after pictures, but the work they did on our ceramic tile kitchen floor was spectacular-it looks brand new! The staff is fantastic. The original estimator (I believe it's his family's business) was thorough and super-helpful, the person in the office who scheduled the appointment was really great and worked particularly hard to find a time that worked (in addition to sorting our draconian insurance requirements), and the guys who did the work were professional and speedy. I have used Fabra Cleen a few times over the last four years and they have always been very good for rugs, drapes, and upholstery. This time they cleaned my light colored club chairs that are almost 10 years old and they look better than they ever did. I was going to re-upholster them but now they look new and definitely don't need to be re-covered. read more

In NYC, we had our Tibetian rug cleaned twice with fine results. The 3rd time coffee was spilt on it in one spot, and we called Fabra-Cleen. They RUINED the rug. The Fabra-Cleen crew claimed their process would definitely NOT change the color of the rug. Prior to this last cleaning, the rug color was consistent throughout. Whatever process they used, I can not say. However, when they returned the rug, there now is discoloration in SEVERAL areas around the rug. We tried to compromise a settlement with the owner. Despite the clear evidence, the owner claims the rug is fine. His became irate. His response "I will bring your rug to court." He takes no responsibility for his company's poor quality work. read more

Fabracleen did an amazing job on my marble bathroom floor! My bathroom was recently renovated, and the floor was brand new, but somehow the marble had become etched and the grout filthy. The tile store recommended Fabracleen. I called them and set up an appointment. The owner, Brian, came exactly on time - and gave me an estimate. Phenomenal job by Fabracleen! They came recommended by the store where we purchased our furniture 7 years ago. Despite having not been cleaned since purchase and surviving 2 toddlers (now in elementary school), these guys made my 2 light brown sofas, 2 off white end chairs and 8 cream colored dining chairs look new again. The dining room chairs especially, which were covered in food stains, now have no sign of it. The staff were courteous and professional. They were comparably priced to the other quotes I got too. One star may be too many- I will NEVER use these people again. The "nephew" came to do an estimate, when I went to have the work done, they all of sudden discovered I needed additional work in excess of $800. These people charged me $400 for some sort of poultice to get the stains out of my stone, meanwhile they told my neighbor how to do it herself. What a rip-off. BUYER BEWARE!!! If I could give this no stars I would!!! This company is horrible! I got their name off google. I saw they specializes in area rugs, so I had my I had a very expensive silk area rug washed by them, it had urine from my dog on it. When I got it back, I asked them to leave it rolled up because there was an extra charge to put it back down. After my super laid it, I found they left a tag from a company called megerian. I called and spoke to a girl there who said they do not sub out rugs. Well, I did some research and found out the company is in Brooklyn. I called for an estimate on my 8x10 silk area rug, and they were going to charge me $360.00, free pickup, delivery, and they even send 2 men put the rug back down, at no charge, even with furniture. FabraClean charged me almost $1100.00!!!!!!!! Not only did they sub out my rug, they lied!! I will NEVER use this company again!! read more
