I contacted Brandon Sellers to look at our heat pump because it wasn't working properly. The air…read morehandler would come on but not the heat pump. Brandon Sellers arrived to diagnose the issue and determined it was the control board and possibly the thermostat. Prior to leaving he gave me the option of purchasing the parts myself since I had the opportunity too. I originally told him to get the parts but later found I could have them the next day so I decided to purchase them. I told Sellers I would still like for him to install them and he agreed. A couple days later I had him return to do the install. After the parts were installed the unit still did not work. Further diagnosis was done and he stated a bad wire from the heat pump to air handler so he made some changes. A short time later the heat pump started. This was around 6:30pm on a Friday and the unit had cycled a couple times before he left. Approximately 4 hours later the heat pump and air handler shut off and never started again. Saturday morning I messaged Sellers and told him everything stopped working. He said most likely a 3 amp fuse at the transformer so I checked and no fuse was found. I told him no fuse was fuse and he said the transformer was bad. He showed up and looked at the transformer and said it was bad. He asked me if I wanted him to fix it and I said yes. He said he had a friend who worked for a local company that would come in so he could get on because they were closed. I wasn't told until later that this was considered an emergency call which meant an extra charge. The transformer was installed and still the heat pump would not work. He checked the new control board and said it was also now bad. Sellers asked me if I wanted him to continue and I said no because the weather was going to be in the mid to high 70'. I told him I would call him in a week or so after the weather changes. I also asked for the invoice to be emailed. I received an invoice the next day for $945 for three visit, the swapping of parts and a unit that was not working. I was very surprised at the amount and requested an itemized invoice. I also decided to get a second opinion and a week later had someone else diagnose the heat pump. After 15 minutes I was told what the problem was and it wasn't anything that was diagnosed before as being the issue. The new control board was checked and was working as it should. The wiring that was changed was put back and I now have a working heat pump.

One time "John" answered and I told him I was interested in an HVAC maintenance and service contract. He rattled off some numbers and promised to email them to me that night. Never got anything. I then called that number over and over, leaving messages that again were never returned. Finally, a woman answered and explained that she was in a front office and could give me no info (??) about service contracts, but she said if I called 800-921-0392 an answering service would take a message and forward to someone who would call back. She also promised me that John would send me the promised info that day. Not. So I called the 800 number and left a message for someone to please call me. Nothing. I give up. Too many other HVAC companies that care. I wonder how if they respond to customers needing emergency service.

They worked nearly the whole week at our house and it was a pleasure to have them here! They're super thorough. What little mess they did make, they cleaned up every day. They were also happy to show me exactly what they were doing whenever I popped my head up there. They arranged the system so we can still easily move through our attic and use it for storage. They also brainstormed with us about other attic issues and were able to tack some extra things onto the job. Lloyd called a parts manufacturer when I had questions about the type of bulb they used.
