Normally good service, but why did I wait 10 HOURS for the lab results for my dog for them to say that I need to speak to the vet that treated him??? I work for a people lab and any doctor can give results. Do the vets not all have the same training when the go to vet school??? And why did they string me along for 10 HOURS saying they had emergencies to tell me this.... I just need to know if results are high...... read more

Our first experience with All Creatures was nearly five years ago, when our shepherd mix started having violent seizures which resulted in the need to have him put to sleep. It was a very sad, difficult experience but the staff at AC were loving, supportive and caring. Jump to today, we have a very rambunctious, curious six month old Boxer who found himself a dying bee at 6 am. At first he didn't seem phased by it but within 20 minutes he broke out in hives and his face was swelling so bad he looked like a shar pei. My husband and daughter rushed him to AC and they were once again met with caring compassion and swift care. Our pup was hospitalized and monitored for over 12 hours and given medication for the reaction, as well as IV fluids, and is now home resting comfortably and looking just as he did before the incident. The bill was $500 but all things considered we felt it was very reasonable. All Creatures is a wonderful asset to the community for your pet's emergency needs. We are so grateful for their service. read more

Literally first review ever on Yelp. Should have read the reviews prior to even trying to go to this place. Called 2 times on the phone to ensure they were open and allowing emergency walk ins; both times they said yes! Once we showed up they wouldn't even open the door to talk to us face to face! Instead, the woman behind the counter talked to us through the phone and said we couldn't be seen...even after explaining we called twice and were ensured we would be seen! Dog got bite by another dog and was bleeding. And then once we asked if we could AT LEAST get a cone for my dog so he could stop licking the wound, then she decided to get up and get our info so they can charge us for a cone! So if it means they make any sort of money without doing nothing, they will service you. read more

I waited to write this review because I used to like this place and I still would except the last time I took my dog I noticed the whole staff changed! I had to take my dog in the middle of the night because she was vomiting and had really bad diarrhea. The doctor on duty diagnosed her with pancreatitis and heart murmur which I found out 2 days later after I took her to our regular vet that she was suffering from some type of gastrointestinal which was going around at the time and could have been treated at home with antibiotics. My poor dog was put on IV and stayed at this place for 2 days, it would have been longer because she wasn't eating so we cooked some rice and took it to her and we hand fed her and she ate and was very happy. So we took her home immediately and had her check by our regular vet. Except for Monica who was very helpful, the rest of the staff wasn't very helpful or friendly. The doctor who treated my door was questionable in my opinion. I would pay anything for the health of my dog but if I can help it I will take my dog somewhere else next time. I felt this place didn't know what the heck they were talking about and mis-diagnosed my dog's condition. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give them a 0 rating! read more

I wanted to like this place, but I just can't recommend it. We took my dog here when he was just adopted. He had an infection in his foot. They supposedly cleaned it all up and sent us off with antibiotics but not before they tried to upsell us every single thing under the sun ( I think their original quote was almost a grand). This seemed a little sleazy to me but whatever...fast-forward a week. My pup's foot doesn't seem to be getting much better despite us keeping him off of it and keeping it wrapped when we do have to take him out. We take him to the groomer and the groomer finds a HUGE sticker embedded in pup's paw! Once my groomer removed the sticker his foot completely healed in two days. So my poor dog had to suffer because All Creatures didn't do their job properly. tldr: All Creatures is like that sleazy mechanic that tries to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need while failing to treat the issue you brought your animal in for. The doctor sees her patients as walking dollar signs. Go see Dr. Ron at Sierra Veterinary Clinic. He really cares about his patients and it shows in his work. read more

I brought my dog in a couple weeks ago for a growth to be removed. I didn't know that would be the last time we would see him. I promised him he would be ok and home tomorrow. I lied to my sweet boy. I don't know what really happened I just know something isn't right. There wasn't anything said that would make me think he was at risk of not surviving this surgery. What a great experience, during such a stressful time with our girl Allie. We drove all the way from Sylmar since we needed emergency medical attention at 10PM on a Weds. Although we were there until 3:30AM Thursday, and they seemed to be short staffed and very busy, the staff was so pleasant and kept us at ease. They never made us feel like they were overwhelmed with how busy it was. Once the Dr. Was able to see us, he reassured us that Allie would be okay.He recommended we keep her there to get IV. The staff kept updating us on Allie's progress throughout her stay there. The cost was pretty reasonable for the services that were provided. We will most definitely be recommending this place. We use this place as an after hours vet only. Why? Because it's way over priced. It's basically an emergency room for pets. When humans go to ER, we get charged an arm and a leg. Same goes for this place when taking your pet. Also, their treatment plans always seem to include just about every form of treatment they could stuff in to make a buck. I know this because I've brought our dog to my regular vet next day after visiting AC after hours and showed them their treatment and estimate plan they recommended. My regular vet laughed and said most of these things were completely unnecessary and expensive to boot. She said AC is known for this type of thing. Additionally, AC charges nearly double what my regular vet charges for blood panel and X-rays. So if it can wait, I'd suggest waiting for your regular vet to do it. So with that said, it's the only 24 hour vet we have here. So if you have a true emergency after hours, this is the place to go and pay the premium bucks for it. read more

Adopted a dog from shelter. Received voucher for free wellness check from shelter and on that list from shelter for vets that would accept it was All Creatures. Made an appointment, my wife explained we had the voucher and lady on phone said no problem come on in. After waiting 45 minutes they tried to up sell us on blood work. I declined and asked for only the wellness check. They then said they would not honor the voucher. I asked the girl at desk why? She then got up and got the supervisor. I asked the supervisor why, and she said they did not have to honor it. I explained my wife spoke with someone on phone and they told her no problem. Supervisor said I was the one she spoke to, and said my wife did not mention voucher. I then said are u calling my wife a liar? She then replied no but we simply do not have to honor it. Best we can do is 10% discount. No thank you! I'd prefer to pay double then receive services from you. A perfect example of bait n switch! Completely unacceptable and i would strongly recommend getting EVERYTHING in writing from this place before services are rendered! Horrible read more

I had to take my dog in early in the am this week as he woke me up from sleep crying so loud and upon putting him on the floor was disoriented, head was tilted and unable to walk. My regular vet was closed and I came across ALL Creatures Vet as a 24/7 vet. I rushed my dog there and was greeted by 2 amazing staff Towny and Hayan, they were so sweet and caring, took my dog right back. I explained to them what had happened, they got the vet in to look at him and I was so happy with the care they gave my dog and assurance they gave me. They treated my dog and he was back to his normal self. Towny and Hayan explained to me the post home care and made sure I understood everything. They were so great to my dog, I'm happy to say I found a new vet clinic. read more

This clinic saved my puppy's life! We bought our dog from a breeder who told us the puppy was vaccinated and dewormed. A couple of days after bringing her home she began vomiting and looked very tired. We took her to another local clinic, who then directed us to All Creatures. At All Creatures they checked her temperature and symptoms and then tested her for Parvovirus. She tested positive. We paid over a thousand for treatment, but they saved her life! Our puppy came home just 2 days later. They also mentioned her docked tail (also done by the breeder) was infected. So they cleaned it up really nicely and when we brought her home, her tail was half the size! It had been swollen from the infection and we had no idea. They also tested her for worms since they believed the breeder hadn't vaccinated her or dewormed her, and sure enough she had worms! We were given many antibiotics to help with the parvo, tail infection and worms. The staff was so helpful and made sure to explain all of the details as well as the times to give the medication. Now, this is why I took away a star. I believe that my puppy caught kennel cough during her overnight stay here. Which is fine, kennel cough is very contagious and it happens. BUT when we took our puppy to get checked the vet insisted she be tested for distemper. Mind you, she did not check my puppy's temperature, did not ask for her symptoms, didn't even touch her or fully examine her. She just scared my husband into testing her for distemper... a $200 test for a disease she showed no symptoms of having!!!! My husband being a timid, quiet guy went ahead with the test, and of course when we received the results, it turned out to be negative! It was such a mind game.. because we thought there's no way our puppy has that, yet we were afraid that she would since vets know more than we do! Turned out it WAS just kennel cough! I wish I knew what the vet's name was but from what my husband said she was an older woman. Other than that, we have had great experiences with vaccinations and checkups. The other girls that work there are so sweet and love to see our puppy whenever we stop by for vaccinations. Our puppy is now almost 4 months old and is thriving! Thank you to the staff that saved her, and thank you to everyone who has helped us in one way or another! You guys are awesome! read more

I know the issues and controversy regarding this place, but had a cat with a diabetic crisis, and needed an emergency vet ASAP. The vet (female from Ventura) was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Having been through this issue before, I knew what to expect price wise, and what the after care should be, and it was right in line with my experience. I can't comment on any other vets, but was very satisfied with my experience there. read more

Well, it took me a bit to write this since the only reason I went there was something was wrong with my cat....which led to his having to be put to sleep. That being said the staff and Vets here were amazing and treated me and my old boy Shakespeare very well. He ended up having a blood clot, and at 16 it proved to be fatal. After breaking the news to me, they set up a comfortable "bed" for him in a private room and let me have as much time with him as I wanted. I just sat there petting him for a while listening to him purr, and then when I told them I was ready the Doc came in and very peacefully put him to sleep while I pet him. It sucked, and still sucks. They made a shitty situation as good as can possibly be. For that I thank them. They also sent me a condolence card in the mail that I just got, signed by everyone there. It's unfortunate the reviews are mixed for these guys. I personally had a very good experience and am relieved to have found a close emergency clinic for just in case in the future. Two months ago my Coton de Tulear managed to get foxtail caught on his ear. If you are not familiar with the plant I highly recommend looking it up and getting acquainted with what it looks like and its dangers. I would have not known about it and wouldn't have thought much about it if it weren't for our regular vet Dr. Ron of Sienna Vet Clinic, who had a flyer posted in his reception area. Foxtail is a spiky weed-like plant which is very difficult to take off or out from pets, can get lodged in their nostrils, gums, ear canals, etc, and then travel inwards, get stuck further in lungs, brain, etc, and eventually be fatal. If you are familiar with Coton breeds than you can only imagine what a nightmare it is to have anything stuck in their soft hair. To top that off my little guy is anything but cooperative in general and this was no exception. Our incident happened around 9:30PM, I quickly Googled/Yelped nearby emergency vet care and decided to give these guys a try. I love the location as it is close to me, has plenty of parking (it is in the same plaza as Eggplantation). Place was very quite and very clean. Staff was very friendly and genuinely caring. Wait time was very short, there were only two other furry patients before us. The vet on schedule was young but also very nice, very gentle with the dog and calm. The tech was a little unassertive in dog handling which was ok with my small sized guy, but I would imagine she may have had a hard time handling a large dog or one that wasn't as calm-ish. They examined my pup, took him back to try and get the weed out, warned me they might need to cut/shave the hair off in some areas hence leaving him with a funny do but I told them the haircut was not important and the only thing that mattered that they get all the spikes out. 15 mins later tech, vet and my dog came back, they had done a GREAT job as there were no bold patches, or uneven hair here and there. In fact he didn't look like he had anything taken off of him at all. But most importantly they got the foxtail out. And lastly - the charges for the visit were very reasonable. I'd never been to an emergency clinic before but was prepared to pay a significant amount. I had actually called another clinic that same night before deciding on these guys and was quoted $95 just to be seen. All Creatures charged me $45 for the visit and $30 for the actual "procedure" of cutting the weed out. So once again I'm very happy with this place and thank the staff for a nice job! read more

Last night I brought my cat in who had been limping, the staff was friendly and nice and I got in and out of there in no time, (and for a Saturday night, that was golden). Those are the plusses, my criticism is this; When they saw my cat the Vet brought him back out and told me he wasn't limping.. which made me feel ok (maybe he healed) and he offered me 2 vaccinations for my cat to take 1 in which i took & paid about $153. I was happy and left. When I got home I took my cat out of the carrier and clearly he was limping. I immediately called them back and said that my cat was limping, (when the Vet told me he wasn't )and the very nice receptionist said "normally I would tell you to bring him in but we have an emergency surgery." And so she suggested that I bring him back in the next morning in which I did. Before I brought him in I taped my cat walking with his limp. I also thought there was something stuck in his paw, they brought me back there and told me there wasn't in which we agreed. I still insisted on my cats limp. After they were done with him the Vet came out and talked to me about my cats injury and just told me to give it time and he'll heal. (this isn't what i got the night before.) Checkout time came and they charged me another $45, now thats in the policy to pay the $45 for a re-check but had the 1st Vet done his job in the same manner as the 2nd Vet, I wouldn't have brought him in the 2nd time. I aired my grievance on the matter and even though I didn't like the 2nd Vet's tone of voice when she spoke to me, I paid the $45 and left. I left with a sour taste in my mouth because the had the 1st doc explained to me the nature of my cats injury rather than offer me a couple of vaccines I wouldn't have come in on the second day. We found our dog freaking out and scratching at her eye in the back yard. She was crying and we saw that her eye was completely shut! So we rushed her to ALL Creatures. Turns out she had a foxtail stuck in her eye. :'( We had no idea that was even in there. Dr Ohm explained that the foxtail caused some nerve damage because her pupils were not reacting at the same time. Immediately her eye looked so much better after they removed it. Everyone was so sweet to her. We're so happy we brought her in it could have been a lot worse. read more

I can't even begin to explain how amazing this place is. I came here on Father's Day. Considering that it was one of the few pet hospitals open on a holiday. Immediately after walking in with an emergency visit they took my cat to the back to begin treatment. My cat unfortunately ended up passing away. But I know they did their absolute best. I requested his ashes. & they delivered them to me in such a beautiful way. This place is a good almost 40-50 min drive from my house, but there's no doubt I'll be coming back here for my other cat. Is it possible to give negative stars? My girlfriend took our lil dog Bowser here awhile back. He was vomiting, had been lethargic, and in the end would just lay on the ground and cry. Bowser is her baby, so she rushed him over in the late evening. First, they would not accept her credit card as payment. We are not thieves here, we just want our beloved pet cared for, and I'm unaware of any regular business that does not accept credit cards. I tried to give them my debit card information over the phone but they would not accept that either. Fortunately my gf was able to get the cash to pay it, until I was able to go in and put it on my debit card. When they first examined Bowser, they noted he was severely dehydrated. OK, I can handle that. What I could not handle was that they practically accused her of not providing him with water. I'm grateful I was not present to hear that. After being admitted and being given blood work, my gf was given an ETA on when to call back for more information. So she called. Repeatedly. And received no information of any kind about how he's doing. I went in in person after I got off work at 1am to get some answers. If they were crazy busy I would have understood them not getting back to her, but nothing was going on. I got my answers and left for the night, returning the next morning to pick up Bowser and take him to his regular vet. In the end, thank God, he was given a clean bill of health, and now he's being a little lovable pain in the butt like he usually is. I could not deal with the rude and inhumane nature of what I saw here. One of the girls working was very pleasant, I wish I had a name so as to not include her in this, but the vet was intolerable. When dealing with people's pets, which for many of us are like family members, a bit of compassion would be nice. read more

The care I received from the staff was compassionate, caring, and respectful. I brought in my 13 year old dwarf rabbit, Nibbler 2 weeks ago, as I had found him collapsed. I knew he had lived a long, happy life and that it might be time to let him go. It was an extremely painful decision to make. I valued his life and unconditional love as my faithful companion, yet no longer wished to see him suffer. The doctor gave me my options and was respectful of my choice. He was suffering from cataracts, dehydration, would not eat, and was had a low grade fever. The doctor said any treatment given would be symptomatic and would not relieve him of his pain. He acknowledged my awareness of euthanasia and gave me time to make the decision. When I did make my choice, I was given my time to say goodbye to him. I appreciate the sensitivity, thoughtfulness, and acknowledgement of the care I had given him as evinced by his long life. They cleaned his pet carrier for me, and I was given the option of cremating his remains with Peaceful Paws, which I elected. I was also given the option to be allowed to be present at his euthanasia, which I declined, as I was in grief over the decision I had just made. I was notified about a week and half later and in the interim I received a beautiful card from the office offering their condolences for my loss. The staff there were professional and caring at all times and clearly and patiently discussed all my options throughout the whole process. I gladly recommend anybody with an emergency to bring in their pet for care here. read more

My dog spent the weekend with my sons at their father's house. Sunday he started acting very lethargic, wouldn't eat, etc. He came back to me Monday evening and yelped every time you picked him up and had a very swollen feeling stomach. I called this vet and was told I should bring him in ASAP. My son and I drove to the hospital around noon. We waited outside for 45 minutes until they took him in. We anxiously waited and at 4 pm, a tech called to ask me questions about his behavior. Mind you, they said bring him in ASAP and did not even deal with until between 4 and 5 pm. At 5:45 I received a call from a female vet who had examined him and recommended a blood panel and an additional blood test for pancreatitis. About 10 minutes later a tech called with the quote (just under $400). I consented and she said they would call me back in approximately 45 minutes. Almost 2 hours later I was reading the local SCV news and read an article about the trial of a Dr. Sandhu Balpal began that very day for over 40 cases of misconduct. When I read that one of the vet centers he owned was the precise place where my dog had been all day I freaked! I called right away and asked to speak to the vet on call. I was put on hold and 10 minutes later another female vet came on the line and started giving me the results of my dogs blood work. She began suggesting an x-ray and I cut her off to explain I just wanted to come pick up my dog because of the article about the owner I had just read. She was pretty much like, "Ohhhh, yeah...". My husband and I went right over. We walked into the lobby and he went to peak around an open door and they were surprised to see us. They asked us to please wait outside (we had masks on) and my husband was very upset and asked to give us our dog. We felt like they were dragging their feet so he would have to spend the night and they could charge us more. The woman said if we didn't go outside she would call the cops. I got my furious husband outside and I stood in the doorway and started to list my grievances to them. Someone carried our dog out to me and I took him. The female vet said she would call me the next day to discuss. No need, I am not interested in ever speaking to them again. My dog is feeling better today (we think he just ate something that did not agree with him). My final comment: Is their license even valid right now given the ongoing trial against the owner? I've had to come here a few times for middle of the night emergencies and always had a positive experience, all things considered. This time my little Maltese was limping after walking up some stairs outside our apartment, so I decided to take him in to make sure he was ok. The front desk vet tech was friendly, had me fill out some paperwork, then we waited for a room. We didn't wait long and they took his vitals before letting us know the vet would be in shortly, which he was. He was also very nice and patient, examining my dog's paw, legs, and joints to check for swelling. He determined that my dog had just sprained it and he'd be fine as he was already beginning to walk on his leg again. Though nothing was wrong, we still had to pay $45 for the check up, which is normal. They don't charge more the later you go either. I received a follow up call the next day to make sure he was still doing good. I'd come back here again for a pet emergency. read more

I'll have to warn you...this is a very sad story. My late kitty, Oreo, got sick last March and passed away from heart failure. Still reading? I noticed that she was throwing up a lot of white frothy stuff and was very lethargic, so I decided she needed to get checked out. It was late at night the only emergency animal hospital in the SCV is All Creatures Emergency Center. I rushed her over they took care of Oreo right away. They did everything they could for her: X-rays, ventilator, heating pads, adding liquids, and then taking off the liquids. The works. Plus, they really took the time with me to give me a run down of Oreo's prognosis and options. Oreo didn't make it, but I'm happy that she was in such great care during her last moments. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS! If you need to treat a rattlesnake bite, look elsewhere if you can. Below I outline some of the local vets compared to this vet. Antivenin: All Creatures (24 hr) - $899 Valencia Vet Center (24 hr) - $700 Little Paws Dog and Cat Hospital - $450 All Creatures Vet is a 24 hour facility and Little Paws is not. I work in an industry that operates 24-hours; it's reasonable to receive extra pay for offering this 24 hour service; at my job, you receive an extra 10% when you work the mid-shift. However, this vet is doubling their prices! This price gouging is sickening. I'm fortunate I can afford this treatment, however there are great pet owners and dogs that cannot afford these prices and dogs will suffer because of this vets greed. Lily's story: My dog was bitten by a rattlesnake (on the front paw) at 8:30 PM on an evening walk. My dog is a healthy 70# female husky with no medical issues and has the rattlesnake vaccine. I brought Lily to all creatures vet within 30 minutes of being bitten. I was taken to a room immediately and the nurse wanted me to sign a form that said Lily would receive emergency service (an additional minimum $700 fee). This was unnecessary, we knew what was wrong with her and she needed antivenom, her front paw was swollen and bleeding from where the snake bit her. After waiting about an hour, the vet's assistant came to me with an estimate, I needed to sign this in order for my dog to receive treatment. The estimate for treatment was between $2954.40 and $4000. On top of this, the vets prognosis for my dog was "poor". This was an absurd prognosis, as Lily is in great health, she was bit in the paw (not in the face or near vital organs), she had the rattlesnake vaccine, and she arrived at the vet within 30 minutes of being bitten. I was trapped, where else was I supposed to go at 10 PM? This vet is well aware and definitely took advantage of this. I paid them and Lily was taken into the back and put in a kennel. I called them at 11 PM and asked if she had received the antivenin yet. They said, "no" because they had to defrost the antivenin; her blood test and coagulation test had come back normal, except for slightly elevated WBC's. They called me back around 11:30 PM to let me know that she was receiving the antivenin. The next morning they called me at 8:30 am to let me know Lily was doing well, the swelling had improved and she ate, went to the bathroom, and walked on all four paws. Then, the vet assistant said, "she's really enjoying her painkillers" and giggled. This was not a laughing matter. I told her it sounded like Lily was doing well and I would like to pick her up, she didn't need to stay there for the 24-48 hours that was estimated. The assistant told me that picking her up after only 12 hours of treatment was against medical advice. I told them to stop treatment (they reminded me this was against vet advice). The price now became $1,935.10, so they owed me $1,019.30. I picked Lily up at 11 AM and she was very drowsy, but walking well. They ran my card again to issue my refund and also had me sign a form that said I was taking my dog out of vet care against medical advice. They also wanted me to bring painkillers home for my dog; I refused them as I thought that was over-treatment. I picked up her antibiotics at the pharmacy and Lily came home and ate, went to the bathroom, and then slept. I called my awesome vet (Little Paws Dog and Cat Hospital) and let them know what was going on. I scheduled an appointment that evening to do a follow-up blood panel and coagulation test to ensure that Lily was in good health. When my vet examined her that night everything was normal, except her heart rate was lower than normal, even for a hospitalized dog, she said this was likely due to painkillers and/or sedatives. I asked my vet if I should give my dog painkillers and she said they likely weren't necessary because Lily wasn't messing with her paw and if she starts messing with her paw (chewing at it or scratching it) then that's a sign that she is uncomfortable. This never happened and Lily didn't need any painkillers. For All Creatures Vet to question me about not wanting to over-treat my dog with painkillers and not give me the option to monitor her first and see if she needs them, seems like very poor practice. Again, another example of this vet trying to increase their profits, rather than actually caring for the pets needs. The following day, when Little Paws got the blood and coagulation results back, they informed me they were normal. Two days after being bitten by a rattlesnake, Lily was back to her normal self, healthy and happy. On top of everything else, Little Creatures also messed up my refund. Rather than crediting my card the $1,019.30, they added that as an additional charge. They called me the next day to say they were sorry and they fixed it. I do not recommend this vet. read more

Dr. Sandhu is amazing... as a matter of fact, I just refer to him now as " Dr. Amazing "... This is my 18 year old dog, Annabelle, who had a hemangiopericytoma on her ankle that her doggie dermatologist who collaborates with many skilled surgeons, advised to NOT remove... as the consensus was, because of her age and unless it was bothering her (which it seemed to not be, remarkably)... to just leave it. It had been growing very slowly for two years, had tested benign.. and Dr. Sandhu, who I additionally had consulted with previously, had previously shared this consensus too. One night, however, it burst open, which I found out later was on Dr. Sandhu's birthday, and as it was causing a systemic infection alongside a high fever... and as there was no way to close it... at this time, it had to be removed. My former husband had been in the veterinary industry for over 16 years and I knew many veterinarians alongside the thought process's behind this sort of situation. All of them, likely, would have not wanted the responsibility of removing this large mass.. Upon arrival, Dr. Sandhu was immediately notified of Annabelle's condition. It was just after midnight. I had brought her into his facility in Newhall (All Creatures).  There she was stabilized throughout the night with fluids and antibiotics whilst a plan was put into place by Dr. Sandhu for an optimal outcome. This was going to be a VERY complex soft tissue surgery --  no matter what age she was... Following stabilization at All Creatures, she was transferred that morning to AV Veterinary Center, Dr. Sandhu's location where there was also a HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Treatment) that would assist the healing of this wound and also help Annabelle handle the anesthesia better. Because this mass was so large (about 4" in diameter), it was thought that there wouldn't be enough tissue left to close the wound and thus it would have to heal from the inside out; requiring much more time to heal with risk of infection. Dr. Sandhu did this surgery on his day off - his birthday - and these are the results. I can tell you from experience that most surgeons would have just de- bulked this mass, under these circumstances..... but Dr. Sandhu's keen and seasoned surgical abilities and  steadfast competence put this surgery at "Perfection level". Annabelle was also up, walking, and wanting food, 2 hours after the surgery! Yes, Annabelle was a strong girl... but this surgery along with 2 other emergency surgeries Dr. Sandhu performed, saving my other two dog's lives, would have not gone this direction if  -- "He had not been involved". This place is awesome! Thank God they were open Christmas Eve. I had noticed that my once rambunctious kitten was weak and not wanting to do anything. At first it just seemed like she was tired but as the night went on she couldn't even stand . So i went online and began to look for a Pet ER that was open on Xmas Eve. Thankfully All Creatures ER center was open until midnight! The Staff was amazing took care of my little one. Everyone who works there definitely loves animals! Oh Turns out my kitten was constipated and needed an Enema, and no time she was back to her old self. :) read more

I found them on Yelp because they specifically state that they are 24/7 AND I called and specifically asked "is there a doctor there" and they said yes. So I went. They put me in a room to fill out paperwork and after collecting the paperwork they said the doctor would see us in a few minutes. Few minutes later and they said that they called the doctor and that he wouldn't be able to come in because he had an "emergency". Its 2am in the morning and I'm writing this as I'm sitting at another vet because they basically lied about their doctor being there. Shady! read more

Had a nice experience this past evening when we had to rush our cat in after hours. It's uncomfortable in general when you are stressed about the well-being of your pet. The staff there was very kind. It's a bit awkward anywhere you go now due to the new pandemic protocols, but the staff I feel handled it well. It did take a long time as the hospital was quite busy and they do prioritize based on the severity of the issue which is understandable. I did appreciate that they did not try to upsell or price gouge as I feared this could be the case. (After reading scary reviews for other vet hospitals.) They got right to the issue and explained the next steps. The staff did help calm me as I was a bit uneasy waiting to hear back with an update. Their overall demeanor was welcoming and trustworthy. The doctor I spoke to was quite kind and right to the point. She was able to pinpoint the issue immediately and sent us home at ease. I would recommend their services specifically due to my experience and hope others have the same. read more

Had to bring our kitty in last night to be put down (2am-ish). The staff were professional and sympathetic, and they certainly didn't make us feel awkward or judged for the decision we made. The made the process very simple, compassionate, and undramatic. They allowed us plenty of time to be with our pet and didn't rush us through anything. They are open exactly for procedures like these- emergent, late night, customers in near panic. Their hours are like 6pm to 8am. Their prices are within the local standards- cheaper than Valencia Veterinary Center. They are located in the cute yellow Victorian building on Lyons- easy to find and park even when you are crying your eyes out. I probably owe them a box of tissues or two. read more

I was hesitant to bring my Lilo here because of all the negative reviews. I called multiple hospitals and nobody could accommodate me because they were all at capacity. I had no choice but to bring my dog here otherwise she was going to die. I am SOO happy I did. Everyone was amazing. They took her in right away. She was diagnosed within 30 minutes and they took her into surgery shortly after. Maybe covid policies have people on edge or perhaps the people who are writing negative reviews are not aware of how a triage system works. Just like in an emergency room for humans, If you're waiting, you're not dying. If you're dying, or about to, you're taken back and treated immediately. I would have much rather been the person having to wait for their pet to get seen BUT she was rushed in, because she was very sick and would not have survived without immediate treatment and surgery. And they saved her. I am so so thankful for Dr. Sandhu and ALL of the staff. There aren't any words to describe how thankful I am. I called multiple times each day she was there to check on her and each time I called the staff was pleasant. I was also given an estimate of what it would cost and it actually came out a little under. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again. THANK YOU! read more

My boxer got really sick all of a sudden and I couldn't get an appointment until two days later with the regular vet so I rushed over to All Creatures. They took my baby in right away, they come out to you and then take the animal in. They asked me so many questions about what my dog had been eating or could've gotten into, they called her regular vet to get a history and ran all the tests necessary. They kept in constant contact with me on the phone as to what they were planning to do and giving me the cost for everything. I brought her in at 2 and by 5 we were on our way home with everything we needed. My baby is all better now and even though the emergency was hard on me I'm extremely happy with the care she got and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg. read more

I called around 11:15 pm panicking because my dog was having an allergic reaction. After several failed attempts to reach someone, a tech finally picked up and told us to head on over. She had an allergic reaction due to the large number of vaccinations she had received earlier in the day from a clinic in Granada Hills. We were extremely happy with the prognosis given to us and my dog feels so much better today. Thank you! read more
