I am Angry and heartbroken as I brought my 14-year-old Maltese in for an eye infection and not only was a $600 bill Outrageously unnecessary I put it on care credit.They ran some blood tests and told me to take my dog home and he started declining after the second vet called me and told me to take him off of the Cushing's disease medicine that he should've been on for life.The next four days he was not eating or sleeping cannot stand up was having seizures and violently throwing up.My dog passed away the next morning and I contacted the vet that saw him three times with no return call.I would never recommend this veterinarian clinic is the veterinarian that checked my dog should've given me a call and I feel that the second that that called me to tell me to take my dog off of the medication without ever Seeing or treating my dog was unbelievable Incompetent! read more

We lost our fur baby on the night of 4th of July. It was hard trying to find a vet open due to the holiday but several people suggested All Creatures. We took our little guy there because we knew we wanted to get him cremated. A week after dropping his body off, we received his ashes in a cute box with a sweet note from All Creatures. It took four hours to get our pup looked at (and were the only ones there). Charged us $324 for exam and blood work. He had an infection, but in order to get medicine (antibiotics) they want another $2,000. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! They are thieves!!#! read more

The Vets and staff were very professional. My 12 year old Pit Bull got a very bad Rattle Snake Bite getting into a Den of Rattle Snakes on a hike. They immediately took her in and cared for her on the spot with the utmost care to and for HER NEEDS. She was hospitalized from a Friday and went home on a Monday. They always were attentive to my needs and care for our dog as well letting us be all part of the healing process. I thank all the staff and Vets in the entire facility from cleaning making sure it was a clean space, to billing and all the care they did for saving my dogs life!!!! Had an overall great experience. I suspected my 17 year old dog had bloat a few nights ago so I needed him to be looked at by a vet ASAP. It was around 10pm and I called to let them know I was coming in, I was told they had a few other emergency situations but they'd try to get my dog in as soon as they could. I arrived and he was literally examined by the vet within 5 minutes. The veterinarian was ok. I was impressed by how much attention and care the vet tech, Sarah, provided my dog with. She was very helpful and informative. Sonia was great as well, she even walked me out to my car. I can't say anything as far as actual treatment, because in the end I opted to forgo any additional testing/treatment for my dog. And I have to say, my little guy is back to his happy self! Note: This review reflects the practice as of February 2019. I'm posting the review almost a year later because I heard that the practice is under investigation, and because at the time, I was too caught up in trying to keep my cat alive to write reviews. I've taken my cat to All Creatures a couple times over the years, and didn't have any problems, but I know they've changed management a couple times over the years and this last round didn't seem to have it together. Several times when I called, they didn't have a doctor available. This particular night, my 19-year old cat had been fighting a UTI for about a week. Our regular vet had advocated putting her to sleep, but couldn't give us a good reason why except that she was old, and probably had arthritis and we thought that was dumb. And we had beaten UTIs before and didn't see them as a death sentence, so we were giving her around the clock care, feeding, and IV fluids. At about 10pm one night she started choking and hissing. I called AC and they told me to come in. The ladies at the desk were very nice, and rushed my cat to the back but when the doctor came to talk to us (a burly male, Caucasian doctor with a beard, whose name, I think, started with a "G"?) he wanted to run over $1000 of tests on the cat before he could say anything. My regular vet had run several hundred dollars worth of the same tests the week before, and I'd brought copies of the results, and I tried to get him to explain why they needed to be run again. He could not tell me, and was not willing to break the test panel down into less expensive options, like my other vets all have always done. I said that my regular vet felt my cat was dying, and that it wasn't wise to sink $1000 into running tests without knowing why, and this doctor said the cat might be totally fine, and he'd seen worse cats recover. He then got mad at me for "not keeping my cat warm" when I said that she'd been sleeping on my chest, under a blanket, next to a space heater for the last four days. (How much warmer does it get? I didn't want her on a heating pad because she was too sick to move if she overheated) I hadn't slept in four days, because I'd been up feeding the cat and stressing, and was exhausted and started crying, and begged him to just please explain what each test would help him know so I could justify the expense. He couldn't and pretty much just said, "I can't help you." We took my cat home and to another vet in the morning, who gave her a painkiller that let her sleep (after not sleeping for like five days), and after she'd slept for 24 hours she finally had enough energy to pass a huge hard stool. And then she really went downhill and we finally saw symptoms that made us decide that she was in pain and should be put to sleep. She was old and fragile, so her death was understandable, but the doctor at AC could have at least been kind.... Anyhow I was not impressed and will be avoiding this place like the plague. I suppose it's possible they were just having a bad couple months and patching their doctor lineup with bad doctors, but... I don't know. The receptionists and nurses were all very sweet. read more

Literally worst customer service ever! The really rude receptionist refused to asked the vet a question about a medication prescribed and hung up on us not even knowing if it was an emergency!!! I think she went by Alicia? Very trashy personality can't even believe she has a job working for a vet clinic. 9/3/20 plus some of the vets don't show much compassion either. My beloved cat has been dying of kidney failure. Monday at roughly 3am she was in distress and it was the time I had been dreading. This is the closest 24/7 vet to my home, so I called to make sure a vet was present to perform the euthanasia and arrived at their clinic shortly after that. From the first moment I got there the vet tech and the vet who were working were extremely kind, compassionate, efficient, and respectful. It was obviously a terrible time for me and I was very upset, but they handled both me and my cat perfectly. They were so kind to her in her last moments and she passed as easily as you can hope. They made a terrible time as easy and gentle as it could be and I'll always be so grateful to them for that. read more

DONT BRING UR PET HERE! 2020!! I came in with my cat very sick but still alive, with what money I had. The Dr. Told me "if I don't have 700$ down payment you can't help your cat" with attitude. So I waited outside made phone calls got 700$. She then came back to tell me my cat needs to go to the hospital for over 3,000$. In which I said let's do a basic exam (only 53$) to see if me know if he has a chance. One hour later, still outside, she came back and said I have to put my cat down. I said I wanted to say my good byes she tried to advise otherwise, but I wanted to see him but my cat was already gone when I went to say my peace. Mind you they already charged me for putting him asleep.... I don't appreciate this practice and inconsideration. read more

I took my dog here a while back. I had 3 different people call me and ask me the same exact questions. Then they told me they needed to asses, they told me she was "not that bad" but then she needed to stay over night and be on IV fluids. It appears no one knows what they are doing, their prices are way out of pocket. They take advantage of vulnerabilities. 2 days almost 3K. Ridiculous. The staff is rude, the dr doesn't explain anything properly. They put in the system I denied treatment yet my dog stayed there over night for treatment, so did they actually treat her? That is the unknown. They also pre cut the medication when its against the law. read more

Brought my cat here when she was having a little respiratory issues. The nurses here were all very kind and the vet was very easy to work with. They broke down all of the recommended procedures and also stated the order of importance. I ended up just picking up some medicine per the doctors recommendation and that healed Chloe right up!! read more

We've had our dog for 8 wonderful years, but his battle with cancer was coming to an end. We tried to hold on as long as we could, but we brought him here when it was his time to go. Every single person working here whether they be a vet or tech, was extremely caring and supportive. The whole staff definitely helped us through this hard time. The staff was friendly at first but so slow at EVERYTHING I was there for over an hour with some other very irritated patrons and they insisted that I get a $50 test for parasites that they never gave me the results for then a super rude girl brought my puppy out with a ton of attitude. This place is under new ownership and we had a wonderful experience there. We took our cat to All Creatures after a really bad, scary experience at another vet in Santa Clarita (see my other reviews). We were pretty much desperate. Dr. Jammu and the staff were compassionate, patient, communicative, and INTELLIGENT. The news about our cat wasn't the best (not the worst either, but still scary), and nobody batted an eye when I started crying halfway through our appointment. Everything was explained to us slowly and thoroughly. We did not feel rushed and we did not feel pressured to spend money. My husband and I are relieved to have found a veterinary practice with an ethical, understanding, competent staff. We have a long road ahead of us with our beloved cat's health problems, but we know that we are finally in good hands. read more

I had the absolute worst experience with the staff here yesterday. I'm going to start off by saying that I called Tuesday night and they set me up with an appointment at 3pm. I drove down from Oceanside, where I live to pick up a stray kittenmy grandma could not take care of. When I called they didn't give any instructions other than "You cannot go in the exam room with your pet", which is what I had figured and was totally fine. I arrived a few minutes prior to 3pm and the sign on the door said to please ring the bell. I rang about four times and there was no answer, by then it was 3 o clock and I did not want to be considered late. Nothing on the door said not to come in, so I went just inside the door. Two of the female employees who I'm guessing are the receptionist came out and said with utter annoyance that I was not allowed inside and to wait outside. So I did, we are dealing with Covid-19 so I let it go. It took the receptionist 5 minutes to come outside and ask what I was there for, another 5 for her to bring out the paperwork, and then 20 minutes to pick up the paperwork... By then it was 3:30pm and my kitten was overheated and panting. Then the receptionist came outside and said I have to give consent for a drop-off... I said what does that mean? She said that they are running behind so I would leave my pet and they'll call me when they're done. I was absolutely floored. I stood out there for 30 minutes just for them to tell me that they will have to keep my pet, but that there is no guarantee when they would be seen or when I could pick them up. The absolute lack of communication was horrendous. I understand getting backed up or having a wait time but your supposed to let your patients know so they are aware. I've worked at a radiology center, so I understand unforeseen circumstances such as a critical patient... but you communicate that. Not let your patients wait outside with the heat and ash. My concern was for the kitten whose age I do not even know, and their health and it seems this place just does not care. Also if your scheduling appointments, please let us know if you only have one vet, or that there could, be long wait times. Also if you want us to care about your Covid-19 precautions, please let us know what those are. BOZOS read more

THE BEST VETERINARY EVER! We had a terrible experience @ Banfield Animal Hospital in Pet Smart. Our dog was traumatized and bleeding when we left Banfield. We later found "ALL CREATURES VETERINARY CENTER". They helped calm our dog and us. After completing our dogs procedures we were given a follow up call and were promised they would fix the damage the first vet caused "FOR FREE". This is now our family veterinary clinic. A great value. We give ALL CREATURES our highest recommendation. read more

Staff was very attentive and helpful even at (12:54am) we were greeted promptly by the tech and vet with his colleague. The tech was genuinely concerned and so was the vet. The vet is so knowledgeable and personable! We had an appointment for another animal hospital for tomorrow, but safe to say we are coming back here for all of our doggies! I give them a 1 star and the star was for the girl at the front that was nice, attentive and showed sympathy. As for the doctor he gets no stars. Dr Oberstein or something close to that. I went during emergency hours. He came into the room and did not introduce himself nor show any sympathy or caring. His first comment was what are you feeding your dog? Started to lecture me. My dog vomited, shit and peed herself and was laying on the floor a couple minutes not moving. The first thing you shouldn't do is verbally attack an owner. It kind of looked like epilepsy. He hardly touched my dog, I had to pick my dog up and put her on the table myself. He didnt even offer to do blood work nor offer what may have happened or give options. He gave nausea and vomiting medication and subq water. That's it. I took my dog to her regular vet when they opened and they did the blood work and explained options and what may have happened. read more

Additionally, my other dog was seeing another vet and being treated with antibiotics and meds for a cough. Over $880 for treatment that wasn't working. My dog was declining, not eating, lost 10 lbs, couldn't breathe barely only short shallow breaths, lethargy , etc. I didn't think he'd survive 2 more days. I took him to All Creatures, he was hospitalized for 2 days, and the vet ran a respiratory blood test with additional blood test for Valley Fever. I found that odd, but lo and behold, he has Bacterial Bronchitis, Giardia, and Valley Fever! Once again, they saved another dogs life! read more

I went to All Creatures some time ago and I thought the office staff was wonderful! My cat was throwing up quite a bit and they gave her every test they could think of, quite pricey. They couldn't find out what was wrong with her, so I did a little homework. She ended up needing grain free food and food with very few ingredients.
