Since…read moredelivery was only within SF, I had it delivered to my fiance's office, so I have no idea if it was the CEO who personally delivered it, but we got the same pretty purple bag with all the ingredients freshly and neatly bagged inside. So far, a much better experience than my Luke's Local delivery (which had dozens of black bugs) a few weeks prior. What really floored me was the included handwritten personalized thankyou card offering me $10 off my next order! Everything I needed was in the bag, I just had to provide my own olive oil, salt, and pepper, saran wrap (but pre-cut strings were provided!), and of course the cooking utensils/pots/pans/water. :) I love kits like these because they let me make one thing without having a surplus of ingredients that take up space, get forgotten about, and/or go bad. The directions were easy to follow and accompanied by great photos, and the only hard part was bagging the eggs in the saran wrap. I don't know how Amelia K. made it in 15 minutes, because it took me a solid hour to make the 4 eggs benedicts. :P Maybe I'm not as talented of a cook, but that's okay, because I was still able to follow the instructions successfully!! My fiance and I don't like runny eggs so I ignored the instructions to boil the eggs for 4 minutes "sharp" and let them boil until the yolks were for sure cooked thoroughly. Handling them afterwards was difficult - they were hot and slippery, and I dropped one on the floor! (still ate it) I also decided to deviate from the recipe by making one of the eggs a sunny-side up, fried in the leftover bacon fat. Mmmmm... The last deviation I made was using garlic-flavored olive oil anytime the recipe asked for regular olive oil -- I used it to oil the saran wrap before bagging the eggs, I spread it on the English muffins just prior to toasting them, and I used it in the garnish. I love garlic. I was really happy with the final product and had way too much garnish leftover, but I mixed it with the excess arugula and it made a FANTASTIC salad. I'd do this recipe again. I was impressed that the recipe was printed on waterproof paper so I could save it and reuse it many times! :) Loved this experience -- highly recommended!
