He was also very impressive when listening to him explain what our system could look like and what our options would be. At that time, we were already having an ADU built in our backyard, and when the contractor found out we wanted a new tankless heater and water filter installed on our main house, he offered us a discount and installed a tankless heater. It ended up being a big mistake as they did a very sloppy job. Fast forward to this past September 2025, and my wife put out a Yelp request to get a water filtration system installed. She did not know that Pure Plumbing had come out previously, but I recognized Bryan's name when my wife told me he would be coming to the house. He walked my wife through everything while I was at work, and she was impressed by him too. He even pointed out where our contractor's plumber had made a major mistake with our tankless heater. We ended up having Pure Plumbing install the water filtration system, the price was great, and they did a fabulous job. In addition, thanks to Bryan's alertness, we were able to have our contractor's plumber come out to fix their mistake. Thank you Bryan, and thank you Pure Plumbing. I highly recommend this company.

He was extremely nice and explained our options without trying to up sale. Pricing was fair and competitive with the other companies we had contacted. We decided to go with Water Purifaciions Systems due to their quick response, great communication, past reviews, workmanship, and their competitive pricing. On the day of install, Constantine and his team arrived when they said they would. Their work was efficient, clean, and custom. We did encounter one issue, but they rolled with it and resolved the issue with no problems. They cleaned up after themselves and went over the system in detail with us. They were patient and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend Water Purification Systems for your water treatment needs here in San Diego County. Thank You Constantine and to your team.

Title: Still outstanding after all these years -- WPS delivers every time…read more I left a glowing review for Water Purification Systems over six years ago, and I'm happy to say they're still just as excellent today. Recently, I woke up in the middle of the night to find no water running in my house -- a total shock. (To be clear, this was not WPS's fault.) First thing in the morning, I called them in a panic. They answered promptly, walked me through how to get the water back on, and came out the very next day for maintenance. This review is for their continued care and stellar service over the years. I've had the pleasure of working with Eugene at WPS, and he is consistently professional, respectful, and incredibly competent. He explained that a power outage can disrupt the system's timing, and he patiently taught me how to adjust it so this doesn't happen again. Eugene is thorough, kind, and always delivers top-tier service. I just want to say again how much I recommend this company -- they truly go above and beyond.

While I didn't get a response via email initially, I called their office and spoke with the Customer Support Manager, Marissa Michel. Marissa was professional, understanding, and resolved the issue immediately by processing a refund for the price difference back to my card. It's rare to find such honest and responsive customer service these days. If you have any issues, I highly recommend calling and asking for Marissa--she truly cares about customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!

First and foremost, I would like to thank the EcoWater team for their professionalism and…read morewillingness to help. Their customer service is top-notch and aligns well with the values expected from a Costco-affiliated business. That said, I do have some concerns about the overall process. On Saturday (3/14), I discovered a major leak coming from my EcoWater ECR3700 system. Water was streaming heavily, and initially, I had no way to shut it off. In a panic, I contacted the original installer, Jose, who reminded me about the bypass valve. I was able to engage it, which stopped the main flow from the cracked valve assembly; however, the unit continued to leak. The bypass valve, which is supposed to fully stop water flow, did not perform as expected. Since the leak was at least somewhat controlled, I waited until Monday (3/16) to contact the office. They scheduled an emergency appointment to assess the situation. The emergency visit cost $250, compared to $150 for a standard appointment. Given that I had an active leak through no fault of my own, I felt I had no choice but to proceed with the higher-cost option. The technician confirmed a crack in the valve body but was unable to resolve the leak due to high water pressure. He recommended replacing the pressure regulator. Marissa from the office was very helpful, but the earliest available appointment to replace the water softener was not until Thursday (3/26). I was also informed that the system could not be replaced until the water pressure issue was addressed. This was confusing, as my water pressure has remained the same since the original installation. According to the specification sheet for the ECR/ERR3700 system, it is rated for up to 125 PSI, while my home measured around 100 PSI--high, but still within the system's stated limits. It was unclear why replacement could not proceed under those conditions. After some back-and-forth, I was able to work out a solution with the technician, Charlie, who ultimately replaced both the water softener and the pressure regulator. Overall, I appreciate the efforts of everyone I interacted with at EcoWater. While I disagree with the $250 emergency visit--especially since it did not resolve the leak--I do appreciate that they did not charge additional labor for the final replacement, as the unit was still under warranty. I am hopeful that with the water pressure now reduced to 68 PSI, the system will perform reliably moving forward. Additional Thoughts: If your system is under warranty, the process should be relatively straightforward. However, I do question the potential costs for customers whose systems are no longer covered. The valve body--arguably the most failure-prone component--is made of plastic and carries only a 10-year warranty. While the system advertises a "lifetime warranty," this can be somewhat misleading since the valve body is the part most likely to fail. Most water softeners typically last around 10-15 years, meaning the warranty is most beneficial in cases like mine, where a defect occurs relatively early (within 7 years of installation). The current price for an ECR/ERR3700 system through Costco is approximately $6,000-$7,000, which is on the higher end compared to other options. I have yet to determine whether the added cost delivers proportional value. Side Note: EcoWater also offers under-sink filtration systems. However, I find it difficult to justify their price point, as they use proprietary filters that must be purchased through them. These replacements appear to be significantly marked up. There are many alternative filtration systems available online that offer comparable performance with more affordable, widely available replacement filters.

Very poor customer service - can't see how they get 5 stars on Yelp. My partner requested service…read morecalls from them multiple times yet they refused to call us to schedule. We were in a hard place to find another because the home warranty group assigned them to us, yet we had no contact for two weeks from them despite our multiple requests. Home warranty co finally got a hold of them, and Christati said it was OUR fault for calling them when they couldn't answer the phone, or if we called after their chosen business hours. LOL! Home warranty co found that irresponsible so cancelled the contract, and sent us a new plumber that only had 2 stars... that firm came within 6 hours, were super polite, and fixed the leak quickly. Don't believe all the reviews you see on here is the lesson... and don't wait for call backs from firms that don't want your business.

If you're thinking about hiring Christati Plumbing, think again…read more I reached out via Yelp to Christati Plumbing because they (and I) are located in Valley Center. I always like to hire local/support small businesses when I can. Christian responded quickly, and we were able to set up an appointment for between 10am-12pm on 08/12/25. He told me that they would call me 30 minutes prior to arrival, and as promised, the technician called 30 minutes before arriving. The technician spent a while trying to troubleshoot the issue (hot water turning cold/water pressure dropping). He checked both showers (where we experience the most issues), one of the bathroom sinks, and the kitchen sink. He determined that a sensor on the hot water heater had gone bad, but he stated that the water heater had a 5 year warranty - meaning the part would be replaced for free. He attempted to call the water heater company, but was on hold for a long time. Finally, he hung up with them and told me that they were going to call them back at a later time when they weren't so busy to order the replacement part, rather than wait around on the phone for an unknown amount of time. At that point he left. On 08/24, after nearly 2 weeks of silence, I texted the technician on the phone number that he called me from to check on the status of the replacement part. No response. This morning, I called the technician on the phone number that he called me from. No answer. At that point, I decided to reach back out to Christian in the Yelp messages that we had scheduled the appointment on. When I let Christian know that I had texted/called the technician directly, he was obviously very upset that I had broken the unwritten rule of directly contacting the last person that I had been dealing with. He told me that he that he was not aware that there was any communication between myself and his technician (there wasn't any - since he didn't reply to my text or answer/return my call). Rather than answer my question regarding the status of the replacement part, Christian decided to scold me for contacting the technician directly, and refused to accept any responsibility for the lack of communication these past couple of weeks. He offered to send out another technician multiple times, and I still don't understand why. If the first technician was able to determine the issue and they were supposed to order the replacement part, why would I need another technician to come out and tell me the same thing? That makes me feel like he didn't trust the first technician's diagnosis. I tried numerous times to get an answer out of him regarding the replacement part, but he was clearly having a hard time understanding the question. After he repetitively offered the same solution, I asked him for a yes/no answer if they ordered the part and what good sending a new technician would do. I figured that if he was unable to answer those simple questions, he clearly had no interest in resolving my problem - and I was right. Christian wasn't able to mentally process my questions, so at that point I decided to find another, more capable plumbing company (Mauzy). Not only were they able to come out the same day, did a much lengthier investigation, and determined that the issue had nothing to do with the water heater whatsoever. I see that Christani Plumbing has a lot of 5 star reviews, and I really have to wonder if these ratings were paid for or made by friends and family. If you look closely at the 1 star reviews, you'll see situations similar to mine, except for one instance where he rectified the situation. In this circumstance, the updated review states "Apparently there was a break down in communication between the technician who we initially dealt with and Chris". It sounds like there was also a breakdown in communication between the technician that I dealt with and Christian, but this time his resolution was to argue and not take responsibility. Edit: As you can see from Christian's reply below, he still refuses to accept responsibility for his/his company's poor communication and customer service - despite the photographic evidence. He has called my wife and myself liars for leaving honest reviews of our experience with his company, and somehow thinks that reporting our reviews to Yelp is going to get them removed. Please use Christian's continued unprofessionalism as further reasoning to choose literally any other plumbing company. If you do choose Christati Plumbing, prepare to be disappointed.
