I literally just looked up recommendations for plumbers this morning (Saturday) as my kitchen sink 'exploded' (water everywhere) and I had company coming over in 2 hours! Of course, my first stop was Yelp. I called 5 companies and Bennett Plumbing was the first to call back. 45 minutes later Tylar Bennett was hunched over in my kitchen, working on my sink, and 1-1/2 hours after that, had it FIXED! YES! Thank you Tylar! All this was DONE before my company came over. He didn't charge any more for a Saturday service call either. Couldn't believe that! Tylar was personable, conscientious, clean and didn't sell anything to me I didn't need. He doesn't charge by the minute either. So, the basic service call was $104. He took apart pipes, added and almost re-routed the configuration, plus put a couple supports up to hold our overflow pipe etc .. . it ended up costing $242 all together. It was worth it! I was expecting to pay so much more. In my opinion it was an 'emergency', but he saw it as a problem, not emergency, therefore, costing me less. I'm SO happy. Thank you Tylar! Had an urgent leak under my kitchen sink. Called True Plumbing as I really like them. They were booked for several days but kindly referred me to Tyler at TM Bennett. Coincidentally, Tyler was close by. He was able to quickly access the problem/solution and went one step further to replace the kinked hoses in my water filtration system, thereby preventing problems in the future. Despite doing such a great job, Tyler's last words to me was that he did not want to "steal" customers from True Plumbing (whom referred me). Speaks VOLUMES about his integrity. Amazing customer service and work! I had a water heater that was leaking significant amounts of water starting on a Saturday afternoon. (why do these things always happen on the weekend?). Tyler was quick to answer his phone and even though he was on vacation, he planned on heading back to San Diego early so he could fix my issue first thing Sunday morning. Luckily one of his employees, Jonathan, was able to service our problem and saved Tyler the early drive home. Tyler has done many projects for our vacation rentals and he is always prompt, professional and friendly. Jonathan was no different. Professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. Johnathan was a great help and went above and beyond. He came to fix a leaky toilet and replaced all the internals and the valve from the wall. He also double checked the water heater to make sure it was on the right temperature setting. He left his work area cleaner than he found it. I couldn't do it. After spending 7 hours trying to unclog my kitchen sink, I put my ego aside and called T.M. Bennett Plumbing & Drain. Had I realized how easy and painless the process would have been, I wouldn't have even attempted to disassemble all of the pipes under my sink. (Although, I'm glad I learned a few things about plumbing during my mission.) Tylar answered the phone, I gave him a brief description of what was happening and he instantly knew what the problem was and provided me with an estimate. He gave me a two-hour window of when he would be out. I was at work so he said he'd call 20 minutes before their arrival. After he called, I made it home and was able to clear everything out from underneath my sink (again) before they got there. They immediately got to work and had the issue fixed within an hour. (It was something I never could have done on my own since I don't own any industrial plumbing equipment.) Tylar even fixed the kitchen faucet that had been backward since I moved into my house five years ago. He checked all of the work I had done, making sure all of my connections were tight...they were! Rude! Poor communication skills. I've called Tyler twice and sent two emails. No response. Not a good way to do business.

I use this company for all of my household plumbing needs. They are busy which means they're good at what they do, but I always set up an appointment. The first thing they do is put on booties over their shoes which impressed me because I've seen other companies not care what they track in and out of the house. I've had them replace a water heater, pipe a new shower, replace water line hoses to all of the toilets and washer, and install a new garbage disposal. I was very happy with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

TERRIBLE AWEFUL COMPANY STAY AWAY DOES NOT RESPECT THE DISABLED This company is the biggest bunch of douche bags,..they do not respect disabled people. I have cancer and when I politely asked the plumber to put on shoe booties, ( and explained I had cancer) he refused and drove away! Then this company charged my property management company ( which then charged me) a "no show" charge. I am filing a civil complaint in San Diego Superior Court against this TERRIBLE company and also contacting the ADA. All companies in California need to follow the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and this company blatantly disregarded the rights and respects of someone disabled dying from cancer...STAY AWAY AND USE A COMPANY THAT RESPECTS THE DISABLED RIGHTS AND DOES NOT JUST GOUGE PEOPLE FOR MONEY. read more

Pipe broke in our front yard while I was out of town and my wife woke up in the middle of the night with water running down our driveway. She turned off the main and I called Tylar first thing in the morning. He offered to come to our house within the hour. He spent a few hours, fixed the leak and charged me a fair price. When I got back from my trip I noticed our circulation pump wasn't running properly. Tylar promptly called me and talked me through what I needed to do to get it back up and running (no charge).
