He even told us we could have our handyman call him and he would give him instructions on exactly how to do the repair. Nick at Integrity Plus was great! I had a crazy after-hours plumbing problem and he calmly gave me instructions (which helped me relax a bit), and then he came right over to fix the broken piece. I came home from a massage and started to draw a bath (as prescribed by my massage therapist). After the water had just about filled up the tub, I went to turn it off and couldn't. A piece in the handle had broken and I couldn't control the shut off. The water was running for what seemed like forever and in the chaos I couldn't think of where the master shut off was (despite asking 2 different people for help). I called another plumbing company's emergency number and had to leave a message, and fortunately, then, looked at Yelp and found Integrity Plus, in Carlsbad. Even though I was stressed, Nick was nice, professional, prompt, knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it quickly. Then he charged me very fairly. I find it very difficult to find an honest and really professional plumber...and then I met Nick. He has helped my husband and I in our first home repair which involved a water heater leaking at 1am. He was great with installing it and explained everything he was doing in detail. He also explained that we had a timer on our water heater and that would be a few extra dollars to fix because of a special part he needed to order. I knew who we needed to call after my husband tried to fix our shower knob that wouldn't turn all the way. The shutoff valve on my washing machine broke off at 8:00 in the morning and it was a disaster. I looked up Integrity plumbing on Yelp and called Nick. He called me back 5 minutes later, told me he could be there by 2:00 and quoted me a price for the job. He showed up at 1:30 with the replcement parts for both valves and went to work. He wore shoe covers in the house (my wife appreciated that!), worked quickly, repaired the drywall around the work area and swept up the dust and shavings from the floor when he was done. He was professional, courteous, prepared, and did a great job. His final price was exactly what he quoted me on the phone with no additional charges or "upsell" garbage. Score on for the little guy! I had what I considered to be a couple minor plumbing problems at my house. I'm pretty handy mechanically, but figured I'd get an expert opinion to decide if these were problems I could tackle myself. I originally got a quote from one of the bigger plumbing outfits servicing my area and wasn't completely sold on the diagnosis and quote they gave me. Not only was it seriously expensive(overly so), but I felt that the work they were proposing to do was a bit redundant and some of it was actually overkill. At this point I figured a second opinion wouldn't hurt and decided to try calling a smaller independent plumber. I gave Nick a call and was pleasantly surprised at quite a few aspects of his service. We had a pleasant initial conversation on the phone and he promptly came over to provide me with his diagnosis. He quickly provided me with a solution to my problem. I felt he had greater expertise, provided a much lower cost solution, friendly conversation and demeanor. I'm grateful to have Nick help me with my plumbing problem and wouldn't hesitate to refer any future business to him. He's definitely very knowledgeable and his pricing is very reasonable.
