In this case, they have now disclosed my home address in the public domain. Watch out- These people do not stand by their work. We had to hire another plumber to come out and fix what they messed up. Given the way they handle their business (as evident in their responses and other negative reviews), and the fact that he's bothering me 1 YEAR AFTER I wrote my original review, do you really want to hire someone so unprofessional and untrustworthy? I guess he uses an answering service (on weekends) and doesn't really have control over THEIR employees. As a prospective client, sometimes we don't realize it's this type of service we're speaking to. I was distressed and was hoping for some compassion - which I didn't get. I manage a 3 story townhouse in San Marcos. My tenants sent me pics of water bulges in the ceiling on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Not knowing where to look or who to call, I did a quick Yelp search and AC Plumbing popped up! I gave them a rang, and Armon said he could send a technician out the following day. I asked for 3 pm and he said no problem. Well the following day I get a call from Sergio, the technician, and he's at the condo and it's 8 am.... uhm I think their was some miscommunication. But anyways, he apologized and said he'd come back out at 3, no big deal. He promptly arrived at 3 and got to work. He detected the problem right away and set out to fix it! The AC drain was clogged causing the condensation to build up in the attic, pooling of a lot of water. He was able to clear the clog, suck up the sitting water, and also put 3 holes in the drywall ceiling to let things dry up there. I asked him if he did drywall patching and he said he did! The drywall fixing is still pending since we need to let the water damage dry. But Armon and his technician Sergio are great! This job ended up costing $190.00, with more cost to come to fix the drywall. But at least they were able to detect the problem and fix it day of. Good customer service, prompt in their work and showing up on time. If we use them for the drywall fix, I will keep ya'll posted! read more

Called today early morning because I woke up to my flooded kitchen from a pipe that had burst in the wall. They couldn't send anyone to help emergently to turn off my water. Which is fine I got someone else. I told them I needed to find someone who could and got off the phone. Later in the day I received a very unprofessional and rude text where they didn't even identify themselves. Here's the text verbatim. " First off you called once and we called you back but went straight to voicemail,so you probably was calling someone else it doesn't mean we are lazy there is no need to be disrespected have a great day hope you get your problem fixed" end text message. I never once called anyone lazy and honestly wonder if they got me confused with someone else. and don't appreciate this attack. Either way it's not the type of people I want to work with so I look at it as a win that It didn't work out. Maybe something to consider before hiring them. Oh and when I tried to call to discuss the matter with them the first time I left a message, and the second time it said the number had been disconnected. Weird how that happened?!? AC PLUMBING SAVED ME!!!! About 3 months after buying my home, my bathroom sink had a severe clog. I called my home warranty company, and they had me schedule an appointment with the plumbing company that they contract out. The workers came to my home, and tried to charge me $200, above the $60 charge for the visit. They claimed they had to go on top of the roof in order to unclog a vent for the sink. I called AC plumbing while the plumbers were still in my home, and Armon instructed me not to pay the $200, and he would have someone to my home the next day to take care of the problem. At 9 AM the next morning, AC plumbing was at my door, and they unclogged my sink, without having to go on the roof. Saving me $200. Fast forward a year....My kitchen sink was backed up, and I was unable to unclog it with the snake. I called AC plumbing and spoke with Armon. He told me that he was completely booked for the next few days, and wouldnt be able to come to my home. HOWEVER, he gave me some tips, over the phone, to help me unclog the kitchen sink. A couple hours later, my sink was unclogged. I am extremely thankful that Armon was willing to help me in this situation, and had the integrity to help a customer in need, without even taking a dime. Our bathroom sink has been clogged for a while and I saw an ad on NBC for a local plumber and decided to schedule an appointment. Arman came over the next day and we could not have been happier with his service! Our sink was quite a difficult task due to the age of the house and the custom sink itself. Despite being sicker than a dog, he offered to come over to fix my problem as all of his techs were unavailable. I ended up passing and scheduled for one of his techs to come out the next day. When my water heater started leaking late on a Saturday afternoon, I contacted AC Plumbing based on Yelp reviews and the recommendation of another plumber. I called AC and within a couple of hours Armon had picked up a top-of-the-line water heater for me and was at my house. Unfortunately for Armon, through no fault of his, there were plenty of challenges in the job: the old heater was clogged and wouldn't drain, a part on the new heater was broken, etc. But guess what? Armon took the extra time and effort to work through the issues and still charged me only what he had originally quoted! By the end of the evening my new heater was up and running. Honest, hard-working, friendly, very competitive pricing: all reasons that I recommend Armon. BTW, glad that I went with the top of the line heater, *unbelievably* better than my old one. read more

We just bought our home and within three months a section of the floor started getting warm, then hot. After online research I was pretty sure we had a slab leak. Hired a detection company and confirmed the leak. I decided to have the top 4 plumbers on yelp come give me bids and they all suggested a re-pipe instead of fixing the underground leak (it's just going to happen again in the future). Out of all the plumbers on yelp, AC came with the most confidence and creative options to solve our huge problem. I just got the feeling that they really were here to just help us. Justin came first and it was clear he knew exactly what he was doing....cautious but confident in his solutions. When Armon came, there was no doubt in my mind that these were the right guys and Armon proved it to us throughout the entire process. He was professional and competent but most of all he is honest and truly treated our house as if it was his own. It was a huge project but Armon was steadfast and hardworking, he communicated so well the whole time about what he was finding and what he was going to do. At one point he wasn't sure if he should drill through certain beams, so he called in an engineer to verify that he could drill. I was so impressed that he did this...I couldn't believe that he cared enough to go that extra mile. I am grateful for his honesty and hard work. It's the second time we've used Armon, and couldn't be happier. I had tried researching toilets, and asked about getting a Toto model. He explained that he normally installed a better Toto model, and the price (including installation) was less than I thought it would be for the lesser model. He is thorough, cleans up, and quick. The price is lower than you would expect, and I qualify for a Metropolitan Water District rebate on each model too. I wish I could give a six star rating. AC Plumbing wouldn't even quote me a price, but insisted I could fix the problem easily myself...and they were right! I had an "easy" DIY project replacing all the fixtures in my master bath shower. A couple days after all was done I started getting a leak from the shower head when the valve was off. I took everything apart again and upon removing the faucet cartridge noticed a small piece of plastic sticking out from the hot line into the valve body. I knew that was the source of my leak (preventing the cartridge from forming a seal) but could not get it out with pliers, grabber, or anything else. I called AC Plumbing and explained what was going on. The guy on the phone immediately told me the plastic I was seeing is shrapnel from an old/bad hot water heater (we just had an old one replaced a year ago) and that the thing to do is blow it out of the line by turning the water main on with the cartridge removed. When I asked what he would charge to fix it in case it did not work for me, he replied, "That is exactly what I would do if he came out, and you don't need me for that." I followed his recommendation and the line was cleared in less than a minute and the leak was fixed. He could've easily charged me the minimum hourly price to come out and make an easy buck but instead took 5 minutes to walk me through it on the phone and save me some cash. I'm updating my review based on the two messages I received from the owner who was concerned about ther service I recieved and how my first review would affect his business. I appreciate his efforts though it would have been nice for that concern to have translated through my original service. He explained his prices are fair for the market which I still disagree with, I called around after the fact to verify. As a small business maybe his prices need to be higher in order for him to survive in the market. Regardless, it mattered to me that he made the effort to resolve the issue. He provided options to reconcile the situation. I might consider AC again given his resonse to rectify the issue though I would definitely call around first to get competitive pricing. read more

I stumbled upon AC Plumbing when our water heater had sprung a leak late one night in our condo. Armon came out and was able to recommend a practical fix to the valve instead of replacing our water heater, which would have cost a significant amount. I should note that the water heater in question was original to when the condo was built in 1982, about 30 years old at the time of the leak. It was still going strong and the only issue was a leaky valve. Armon was great in noticing that the water heater was still in great working condition, despite the oldest he had ever seen, and didn't try to push putting a new one in simply due to age. Flash forward 2 years, after we had bought our first house. Trying to save money (as everyone does after a big purchase), I thought I could do some simpler plumbing tasks around the house. NOPE! Never touching plumbing again. After I botched a valve replacement, I told everyone "Water is off to the house and I'm calling AC Plumbing!" Armon squeezed us in that same day and was able to get us back up and running within 2-3 hours of our call in to him. I feel his prices are fair and he's always been up front and honest with his opinions and advice. The receptionists are very professional and personable but the owner is the exact opposite which I find it very strange. I called the owner to follow up on some outstanding items which he had previous discuss with my husband as I wasn't involve from the very beginning. Armand responded with a defensive tone saying that he is too busy to deal with this issue since he has an entire company to run and pushed me to schedule for another job (i.e. pay more money) if I want the issue to be resolved. More IMPORTANTLY, the owner wanted us to pay more money than we previously agreed to. He said the service costs $900 when we talked to him on the phone and then he raised the price to $950 when he came on site to collect the money. I would NEVER recommend AC Plumbing to anyone since there are so many other good plumbers out there. I guess I should have ask for a referral in the first place instead of trusting AC Plumbing. read more

Not a five star company. Setup a 6pm time for an estimate with the receptionists who seemed very professional but when no one showed up I called. The receptionist only told me that Armand would call me back. Spoke with him but this guy is not like the receptionist, with an arrogant tone he told me he doesn't do estimates after 5pm. Well that's fine but please don't set them up with your potential customers. It's also probably not the best business practice to act as if it's your customer fault. Not really sure how this company has higher ratings, I suspect with their customer service it won't last. read more

WOW!! Armon saved me over $700. Over the last few days, I had the suspicion my water heater was on the blink. Pilot light issues, so I restarted it and noticed some water dripping. Looked at the warrant and realized it was years out of warranty. After a bit of consternation (fix it now or pay for it later), I decided to bite the bullet and call a plumber. After a few calls, I decided on AC Plumbing & Construction. Good prices, easy to reach and responded to my emails (a huge plus in today's digital world). Long story short, Armon just left my home & saved me from spending an unnecessary $700. He inspected my existing unit & tells me it's just fine (the dripping was condensation during the pilot outage & subsequent reheat). "Why fix it if it ain't broke" - his words not mine. :) He doesn't believe is wasting my dollars to replace something that's perfectly fine. In a world of fast talkers and people trying to make a dollar at another's expense, so refreshing to know guys like Armon and his mom (Martha) are around.
