I got married on 10-22-11 and Marisa and her staff including Gisele were amazing. I didn't really know what I wanted for a fall wedding and didn't really have a set vision but Marisa and Gisele guided me through the whole process and exceeded my expectations. They had so many pictures and ideas which overwhelmed me at first, but they easily got to the point and helped me figure out what I wanted. We received lots of compliments on our centerpieces (white pumpkins with branches and orange lilies). Everything was delivered and set up on time. I simply cannot express how impressed I am with All Flowers By Marisa! Marisa and Giselle arranged my flowers for my June 2011 wedding at the Zhou B art center. I walked in to my consultation appointment with Marisa thinking of a flower I had occasionally spotted on the knot. I brought in a picture, and Marisa immediately knew what I wanted. I had been oogling over vibrantly blue and purple "hand died orchids from holland". I thought to myself that these flower were probably way out of my small budget, but was quickly assured that it would be possible to use them. Through talking with me for a few minutes, Marisa was able to figure out what sort of a tone I was looking for in my floral arrangements. Her creative genius created a more beautiful ceremony and reception than I could have ever imagined. She formed some of the most beautiful, unique and flowing bouquets I have ever seen, and was truly able to create a look that complemented my wedding colors and style. She went above and beyond and was willing to set up our ceremony site with colored fabric and bows we had provided. I did not give her specific instructions on how to place everything, and instead trusted that she would create a nice look at my ceremony. When I stepped down the Isle and saw the lush floral arrangements on our arbor and beautifully placed fabric, I was amazed at the work she, and her assistant had done. After the ceremony, Marisa offered to move our wedding arbor indoors for the reception, and tactfully placed this arbor behind the head table. She constantly went above and beyond my expectations! The wedding cake we ordered was a plain,white cake. Before the wedding, we asked her to place a few flowers throughout the cake and to create a floral cake topper. When I saw the cake at the wedding, she had created a beautiful and lush cascade of flowers down the entirety of it, which transformed a plain-looking white cake into something exquisite! Our center pieces at the reception were also amazing, and were done for an incredibly low price. Words cannot express how gorgeous my wedding flowers turned out thanks to Marisa and her staff. The flowers were one of the elements that were most complimented on at my wedding on October 12, 2013. Even I was stunned when I saw my bouquet and when I walked into the reception hall. My mother was almost brought to tears upon seeing the flowers. My husband, who is very frugal and was hesitant about spending $2,200 on flowers, was awestruck by the floral elements. Not only did he comment on how beautiful the flowers were at the wedding, but after seeing the teasers of our professional photos, he kept saying, "Your bouquet was so awesome." This is why I am absolutely baffled by any negative reviews Marisa has received. She came highly recommended to me by several Chicago suburb brides, and after my wedding, I know why. Marisa is an artist, and if you provide her with clear direction on what you want, she will not only deliver, she will go above and beyond. She is a no-nonsense type of lady--if you want something that is going to be expensive, she will tell you. But she will also work with you to try to create your dream bouquets and centerpieces for a price that is reasonable to you. When I told her the original quote she provided was too high, she worked with me to get it to where my dream flowers fit my budget by providing suggestions for alternate flowers and textures we could use to recreate my dream image. She created bouquets, boutonnieres, nosegays, corsages, an arbor, a hairpiece, tall centerpieces, and short centerpieces for my wedding. I have posted a photo that features my bouquet, and I will be sure to post the pictures of my reception hall as soon as I get the rest back from my photographer. UPDATE: I have posted 14 total photos of Marisa's pieces that were part of my wedding. At my consultation, I looked through many of Marisa's photo books, and I was very impressed with her work. Of course, everyone thinks their wedding is the best, but I truly believe some of Marisa's best work was done at my fall wedding! Marisa is incredible. She did all the floral for my 9-28-13 wedding and transformed my haphazard lackluster Pinterest boards into an amazing floral work of art. All my guests were blown away. The bouquets had some of the largest and most beautiful roses I've ever seen in my life. I will remember my bridal bouquet of all white roses with crystals in the center forever. The centerpieces using pumpkins and lanterns were so creative and truly made our reception come to life. Marisa was so accommodating and easily added an over the top altar arrangement for our ceremony at the last minute that was truly breathtaking. Brides on a strict budget and brides wanting to plan a wedding within 12 months please read before you waste your time calling All Flowers by Marisa!! I saw the reviews in Wedding Wire and saw their website and decided to add them to my short list of the florists I would spend time inquiring further about. I am a bride on a budget for very legitimate reasons like my fiance has children, we both own homes, etc...and we have decided to get married in 2012. Please let me first say that both my first choice in church and first choice for reception venue were available on the day we chose. Anyway....I call All Flowers by Marissa and when I provided the woman on the phone with the date of my wedding she told me that "Brides plan at least 12 to 14 months in advance" and she did not think I should have high expectations that they would still have availability on my date. In addition, when it came to a budget, I was advised that their prices for weddings range from $2,500 to $30,000! The woman's tone and attitude absolutely left me with the feeling she can't be bothered with a financially strained person's wedding. I would actually highly caution anyone making an inquiry telephone call if this is their version of customer service on the first contact. Thankfully I have sense had quite wonderful responses from other vendors who have told me getting married within 12 months is definitely doable and happens frequently. So no worries you other brides on budgets and brides who want to get married within a year....keep searching....there are very personable and EXCELLENT vendors out there! read more

I stopped in here to check out flowers for my wedding. The owner greeted me after I stood there for a few minutes even though she saw me she kept on with her conversation. So I asked about flowers and told her I'd be getting married within the next few weeks and just wanted ideas. She got very close to me and kept telling me how beautiful I was. Later she told me she couldn't get over how attractive I am.. which kind of freaked me out a little bit but I looked through her books anyway. Then she hands me a sheet with flower prices and let me tell you, NO WAY! I wanted to laugh because I thought it was a bad joke. but no, they wanted $300 for a bridal bouquet of white roses and a few extra purple flowers. Such a rip off! I was disturbed by the way that she looked at me and spoke to me. When I asked if the prices were correct she got really defensive and said she didn't charge for her labor she only charged the price of the flowers... Weird.. I went to Jewel in Wheaton for flowers and got all of my wedding flowers (which were just as BEAUTIFUL) for about the price of one bouquet with this place. Oh and I forgot to mention she wants months and months of notice and an insane deposit of like $500 or something. I'm not cheap, but there's no way you can justify these prices. Theyr'e taking advantage of people. AND just to be clear there were no customers there so the owner comment is ridiculous you were not there do not comment or try reason with me! You are so defensive, and unprofessional - so I must have struck a nerve and you know my comments have some reasoning behind them!!! AND to filter my review?? People can see through that! My advice is get your act together then you don't have to worry about bad reviews because you clearly have several for a reason!!!!! read more

We used All Flowers by Marisa for our wedding. I would not use them again. The centerpieces were nothing like we described to her, they were ugly and cheap. Also, she overcharged us for what we received, including a so called 10% service charge on the total bill the week before the wedding, which was never discussed to us prior to booking. The bouquets and boutonnieres were done very well and receive 5 stars, but it's just not fair that this vendor wants all the payment upfront when they can turn around and give you whatever they want. All Flowers By Marisa did my wedding (downtown Chicago) and I cannot even count all of the people who commented on how awesome the flowers were! I wanted something "urban" yet earthy/natural (but had no idea on what actual flowers I wanted to use), and Marisa worked with me and made my vague vision concrete. I know they do tons of weddings every year (both in the city and suburbs) and I found they were much more reasonably-priced than the flower shops in the city. I didn't feel pressured into using expensive flowers, which I was happy about. I have also since used them to deliver flowers to a co-worker who lives in the suburbs, and she said the flowers were amazing and lasted for days. I feel so much better ordering flowers from a well-run shop than calling 1-800-flowers :) I would recommend this place to anyone!! read more

The worst place ever!! The owner and her staff have no customer service skills, I used this place for my wedding and it was a DISASTER!! My flowers (the bride),bridesmaids and flowers girls flowers were falling out of the bouquet complete disaster!! So disappointed especially when you pay quite a lot for flowers for your wedding and they end up turning out so bad and fall out REALLY!! I was out of town and needed flowers sent to my mother who was in rehab. I found All Flowers by Marisa on the internet. They seemed to be the closest to my mother's facility. I had them send a colorful floral arrangement. My mother phoned me when they arrived saying the flowers looked a bit ragged. I phoned Marisa's to explain my dilemma. Betty assured me they were in perfect condition when she hand delivered them to the front desk. I had no doubt they were, but it didn't change the fact that my mother's flowers were looking very sad. Betty called me back that same day explaining she had gone back to the rehab center personally prepared to redo my mother's arrangement right there on site. I have a daughter that started her first year in college at Wheaton College and her 18th birthday was also on her first day of class. The college was supposed to send her a gift basket on her birthday but they were so overwhelmed with orders, they could not deliver her birthday gift basket on her birthday. So I had an upset wife and a homesick, dejected daughter on her birthday 800 miles away from home. I called All Flowers by Marisa on the day of my daughter's birthday and the lovely lady that answered the phone (Bethany) listened to my story and said she would get a nice bouquet of flowers over the college for my daughter for her birthday with No Problems!!! Marisa did my wedding flowers 10 years ago. Ten years later, people still talk about how beautiful the wedding flowers where and now that some have engaged daughters, they ask "Who was your florist?" She works with any budget to create masterpeices of work. I made a mistake of calling a different company for an arrangement for a friend who loss a beloved pet and I picked the arrangement off the website and my friend snapped a picture. I was horrified at what was sent (the other florist did not have 7 out of the 10 different flowers picture - one being white roses. What florist does not have white roses in March????) Although, my girlfriend was happy to receive the flowers, I was not happy with what was sent. I called Marisa and asked if she would deliver to downtown Aurora and she said it was no problem. I decided to compare flowers to flowers and spent the exact same amount as I did with the Batavia florist, and OMG what a difference a true artist makes! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!! I will only use Marisa from now on. In fact, I am taking my mom who lives in Lockport to have an arragement made at Marisa's. The extra distance is well worth the trip. Marisa is not only a true artist, she is a beautiful soul. She knows how important every piece is whether for a wedding or just a pick me up. I ordered the "softness bouquet" for my mom for Mother's Day. Delivered to her home, downtown Wheaton, the Friday before Mother's Day. First, they delivered to her neighbors house across the street and left a note on her front door (that she didn't see at all). Now since her cell phone number, as well as mine, was included in the order...you'd think a think courtesy "heads up, your flowers were left with neighbors" would be common courtesy. Nope, nada. Or even let me know in the delivery confirmation email? Nope, not their either. I digress. Back to the real issue, the flowers. I chose an arrangement that looked very English countryside in the online pics & description, with kale, cabbage roses, fancy tulips, dusty Miller greenery, hyacinth, hypericum, all in lovely shades of peach and coral and topped off with a cute "pebble stone vase"...think adorable hobnail glass vase. No cheap fillers like baby's breath, ferns, queen Ann's lace aka weeds, or other ugly cheap fillers. I was SOLD. $90 seemed reasonable. When my mom finally got her flowers from her neighbors at 9:30pm...she sent me a picture. I tried not to panic and asked for more angles/pics. It didn't help my dismay. No fancy tulips, no cabbage roses (did have very weird looking roses), no kale, no dusty Miller greenery and no cute "pebble stone vase"! What WAS in the arrangement was the very crap I was avoiding by selecting this arrangement/option. It had all the cheap fillers...ferns, baby's breath, queen Ann's lace, the ugly basic glass vase, and wait for it...all topped off with a crappy baby pink bow wired to a stick shoved in the flowers. I took several landscaping and floral design classes in school, I have also worked as an assistant at a floral design shop - I know what is good work & good flowers and what is crap. This is crap. If I wanted cheap 1980s grocery store flowers I would have gone to Jewel. Don't bother with this place if modern & gorgeous floral design is what you want. You are much better off going to Mariano's or Whole Foods (seriously). But if you like and appreciate the out-dated floral design from days of yore aka 1985, where fern sprigs and carefully spaced tulips with babies breath is your thing...you will love this place. If you're real lucky they'll shove an ugly cheap bow on top and you won't regret shelling out a cool hundo for crap. read more

i ordered a very simple arrangement on 2/10 for delivery to a business. by noon when the arrangements were not delivered, i called to check on them. was told that the flowers were ready and would be delivered within the hour. it was 3 pm and still no flowers. never again will they get my business and they will not be recommended. read more
