Our experience with Floral Wonders, and specifically Caitlin Sullivan, was 5 stars from the very beginning. Caitlin was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful throughout our entire engagement. We had other vendors that would take awhile to get back to us or need lots of clarification and we always said Floral Wonders was our MVP vendor! Whenever we emailed them we usually had a response instantly or within a few hours at the most. It was also very refreshing that pricing was extremely clear and that they work with you to make sure you can make your vision come to life while also staying within your budget. Floral Wonders truly made the planning process so seamless and simple. Not only were they great throughout the planning process, but they were also incredible the day of our wedding! I even ran into Caitlin and Eva in the elevator on the way to my first look and they were so sweet. They even hid behind a pillar so as not to get in the way of pictures which was adorable and hilarious. Everything was set up on time and we were completely stress free the morning of our big day. They helped pin the boutonnieres on the groom and all of the groomsmen. It was also extremely windy that day and to prevent our flower arch from flying down the Fox River during our ceremony, they were able to think quickly and secure it to the fence. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything looked. We had provided some pictures from Pinterest initially for inspiration and everything Floral Wonders created was 10x better than the initial pictures we provided! If you love flowers and are looking to have an extra special wedding day, I'd recommend Floral Wonders. When I started researching possible florists, I had a few ideas and a general feel in mind for my wedding. I'm big into flowers, so it was important to me to find the right florist. I met with three florists total; Floral Wonders stood out way above the rest. It started with the first meeting; the florist (Caitlin!) that I met with was kind, attentive, and extremely well versed in floral design. She impressed me and my mom and fiancé immediately and really helped us organize our ideas. I was hesitant to book at Floral Wonders, based only on price, but I talked it out with Caitlin and she helped us get to where we were comfortable. Also, as a sidebar, their actual proposals are actually gorgeous; they are beautifully written (in cursive typed text with romantic writing on pink, floral paper) with personalized descriptions that are both detailed and visionary. I loved everything about them. Following our first meeting, we set up some time to meet with Eva for a mock-up of one of our centerpieces and to go over final details. Eva was also so kind and so organized! She had a beautiful mock-up for us and we were over-the-moon excited for the big day. On the day of the event, everything ran perfectly with Floral Wonders. They arrived on time to deliver both boutonnieres and bouquets and made sure we were happy with everything. At the venue, they set up the most beautiful displays: the ceremony aisle flowers were tied with gorgeous ribbon and looked flawless, the reception centerpieces were romantic and timeless, and the twinkle lights brought extra whimsy to our side tables. During the event, we had a bit of a scare thinking we were missing a corsage, and Floral Wonders, without hesitation, speedily made another for us (ultimately, an usher had just missed an aunt...no big deal, but it was a scare for my mom ). Eva is genuinely the best in the business. The minute we walked up to that cute little store I knew I was going to love her, and I did! I had my consultation and first meeting with Eva with my then-fiance (now husband) and my mother-in-law and we just felt so comfortable with Eva right off the bat, we felt like she just really got us. I have a tendency to change my mind constantly, and we had a long engagement, so I definitely requested some tweaks and changes along the way and Eva was awesome, just rolled with the punches! When I wanted something outside my budget, she let me know alternatives and suggestions to keep the price down and never missed a beat. The florals were gorgeous and they're still something everyone talks about who remembers my wedding. Our wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty and they always chose big shots of Eva's bouquets and arrangements as the headlining picture for the feature. Two weddings sixteen weeks a part. Two brides with different visions and price points: one an indoor/outdoor early fall wedding with airy greens and minimal floral needs, the other a NYE wedding with rich winter whites and textured greens. That was our (very fun) challenge and Floral Wonders exceeded our hopes on both days. I believe in shopping locally, but in this case it certainly felt like I was taken advantage of by a local florist. I asked for a floral arrangement for my bride's 50th birthday. Told them around $100. The arrangement that was picked up was pathetic. I looked at it a couple of times and just could not believe it was a $100 arrangement. The five roses had damage and discoloration at the edges, four tulips, the two sprigs of hyacinth were okay but nothing special, the single peony was virtually hidden by the amount of green foliage. The plain vase was nothing. They looked at me and said they were premium flowers. Go on to FTD and you will find a much better set of premium flowers at a more cost effective basis. read more

I interviewed four florists in the Geneva/St. Charles area to decide which would be chosen to create the flowers for my son's rehearsal dinner. When I met Eva I knew immediately that she would create something unique. We talked a lot about my vision and what I wanted the nine arrangements to look like. We worked with Eva from Floral Wonders for our recent downtown Chicago wedding. She was willing to meet us in Chicago for a sample meeting with our wedding planner and I knew that we had made a great choice going with Eva. We talked to Eva about using a piece from my mother's wedding dress to wrap around my bouquet, we had no idea what to bring her, so we made a trip to her with my mom's dress in tow! She was so sweet and hesitant (neither my mom or I could cut the wedding dress). Eva took a beautiful piece of the lace and on my wedding day it was so pretty to see how she had the lace wrapped around and a few of the buttons sewn so that they would be in a line as if it was holding the lace together (like the back of a typical dress). It was just lovely. On the day of our wedding I was blown away by the bouquets and center pieces, they were much larger than I had expected, she even used her extra flowers to help spruce up my gift table and window ledges.
