Just brought my new kitten here and the staff was so nice and made him so comfortable even when he had to take some shots. They also had great availability. Everyone else around my area was booked out til April but they took me the same week! It's a very small clinic so you'll need to wear a mask for your appointment. This vet overdosed our dog to the point of near death. When they found a parasite in him they prescribed a high dosage of meds to treat for two rounds without further testing. The first round began to make him sick but the vet told us to continue any way. He almost died from toxicity from the first round but we rushed him to a hospital and found not only was his dosage too high, HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE PARASITE ANY MORE. For reference here Is a chart for the appropriate dosage of the meds they prescribed: They had our 60 lb dog taking 2,000 mg. That's more than a 90lb dog should take and it nearly killed our dog in the first round, before even starting the second round, which we already paid for. If this vet prescribed your pet a high dosage of meds i highly recommend you get a second opinion before you make your dog deathly ill and spend a bunch of money on drugs you don't actually need. read more

From the 1st phone call with the knowledgeable receptionist to actually having Goose called by name upon entering the office it felt comfortable and like we had gone there forever! The vet technician was thoroughly training a new employee and I felt confident in her knowledge and experience by witnessing what she was showing the new staff. Dr Lynelle made Goose and I feel comfortable and again like we have gone there forever. We weren't rushed, Goose got tons of lovin and with being a new dad I had a million questions and they were all answered. This place is a diamond in the "ruff" and if you're looking for a Vet that makes you feel like your not just a number and makes you and your fuzzy one feel at home, this vet is the one! read more

We love Dr. Lynelle and the rest of the staff!! The doctor literally gets on the floor to greet and care for my dog. They have always been able to get us in for an appointment when needed (either same day or next day) and I completely trust her opinion. They actually try to save you money (something I've never experienced at another vet) and they are much less expensive than the other vet in town. They also don't overbook appointments so you're usually the only in there at the time which is very important for people who's dogs are not good around other dogs or just anxious about the vet in general. This office was our worst nightmare... First of all we went in for a routine check up when nothing was seemingly wrong with our pup. We let them know he has a thing about his toes but they had three techs pin him down to trim them any way. He naturally reacted negatively (whining and yelping NEVER even so much as nipping [something hes never done in his life]) and yet still in response to that they scolded us that he wasn't trained well enough and the vet went as far as to say "if police raid your house they're going to shoot your dog" I don't even know where to begin unpacking that. It was already a stressful moment and, in addition, our dog is so sweet and timid when guests show up here he just wants to play with them AT MOST. Also, I'm not sure why they think police will be raiding our house?? But, to be honest, I could overlook that. However, they also tested him for parasites and he tested positive for giardia. They prescribed him A TON of meds for two separate rounds. I even called to double check it was right. "Yep" they said. Halfway through first round he was pretty sick and I called back to report and they said "that's normal just give him Pepcid ac." So I continued first round. By the end of it one day he was so sick he could hardly walk. He was just laying there twitching. So, I rushed him to an animal hospital and they said "that's an extremely high dosage of metronidazole" and, as it turns out, he was suffering from toxicity from the meds. Also, AFP was going to have him take a second round of the high dosage meds (which we already paid for) without even testing him again. But, when the emergency hospital tested him again, he didn't even have the giardia any more. If we gave him the second round it may have caused neurological issues or even killed him. Go to this office at your own risk. They may assault your dog, berate you about it, cost you a fortune in drugs you don't need, and damn near kill your dog. These people are lucky I don't sue them. Btw our new vet took the time to love and care for our dog, make him feel comfortable, and even conducted more abrasive procedures than nail trimming without incident and without threatening us our dog was going to be shot. This office is the worst thing I've ever experienced in pet care in my entire life of owning pets. read more

They are always able to fit us in for emergencies and Dr. Ayotte is knowledgeable and friendly and my dogs love her, that alone is the best indicator for us as the owners. Terrible experience with Dr... Rude, standoffish, and showed complete lack of professionalism towards myself as the pet owner, as well as a lack of caring towards my dog. Came in, did not say hello, barely pet the dog, and then tried to give shots... I left feeling like a terrible owner in the less than 10 minutes she spent with us, and she was only focused on the vaccines he needed. Didn't ask me anything else about his health. As the customer, I would expect to feel comfortable during our visit as well as respected by the professional who I am paying for their "expertise." Will never go back. read more

Dr. Ayotte is the BEST veterinarian who is competent, kind, compassionate, understanding and merciful towards her clients. I am THRILLED that she opened her own business and almost did not move to Arizona out of fear I would not find a vet as good as she is for my German Shepherd Lobo. She isn't in the business for the money but for the genuine love of animals. I trust her 100% with the health of my beloved animals and should I ever move back to Connecticut,she is one of the first phone calls I will make to introduce her to my pound puppy Bella and my rescue dog Shy to establish client history.
