Another car shop ( I was on hold for ages just to get an appt) wanted about $900 to respray the quarter panel - plus door? plus fender? That's half the price of the value of our minivan !! hahaha! Jose looked at it and said he could rub it out for a fraction of that price. Also touched ups few other areas. I didn't ask them to, but they washed the car and I'll have to say - looks better than when I try. As he explained, there is a tiny little area that went deeper and shows as a white dot. I messed up the bumper on my Genesis G70 by hitting a very tall curb (ok maybe a very low wall). Got maybe 4-5 quotes and decided to go with Jose. I picked up my car on a Friday and it looked great. However after driving for a couple miles, I noticed my collision warning sensor was still going off randomly. I called Jose and he was surprised and apologetic. I planned to drop it off again the following Monday but Saturday morning, Jose called me and asked if he could come grab the car and fix it in his shop. This shop did a great job on my car (the right front area of the car was damaged). Jose, the owner, handled everything and gave me a date that he expected the repairs to be completed. He was right on. He called me that morning , and I picked up my car a couple of hours later. My brand new 2022 Mercedes E450 4Matic was side swiped at the front bumper in a parking garage. Fortunately, the person who hit the car left a note and their insurance covered the repair. I live in Reno, NV and tried to find a competent shop here and as well, Sacramento, CA. Every body shop I went to couldn't make any appointments for estimates for at least two weeks in advance and then it would take another two weeks to finish the repairs. I happened along All Makes (Jose) while staying across the street at a hotel and saw his sign. I drove the car over that day and he said he could take it, but I hadn't secured the insurance rental car yet as I had to get back to Reno. Once I secured the rental car, I drove to All Makes, Jose took me to the rental car location and two weeks later, the car was like brand new! I got a ridiculous quote from another auto body shop in San Mateo (with surprisingly good reviews) for an obnoxious price. They said I'd need to take off my bumper to change the taillight.
