On 4/11/2026, my disabled brother purchased a vehicle from this dealership after speaking to someone who works at this dealership that encouraged him to purchase a vehicle by speaking to him about his disability program he currently attends, she expressed knowledge and experience with these special need programs because this person once had a personal matter to these kind of disability outreach programs and presented herself as someone my brother could trust, he believed he was making a safe decision because this is someone that he felt clearly understood his limitations, the way she approached my brother in order to gain his trust and it was completely disregarded how it was made very clear of my brother disability limitation. Unfortunately, that trust was not respected by this dealership. Throughout this entire process, We felt his disability and trusting nature were not treated with the care and consideration he deserved.. Instead of receiving patience, honesty, and guidance, he was put through months of stress and frustration. When my brother first looked at the vehicle, it had a flat tire. He was told it only needed air, but it was later discovered that the rim was cracked. The dealership removed the damaged rim, installed a spare tire, and promised that the rim would be repaired. Instead, my brother was left driving on a spare tire for approximately five months. A spare tire is not meant to be a long term solution, and leaving a customer in that situation was extremely concerning. The financial process was one of the most frustrating parts of this experience. My brother was told (in a text) he needed $1,500 to get the vehicle released. He gathered the money he had and brought it to the dealership. After receiving that amount, he was then told he needed another $200. He provided that as well. After she had that money in hand, he was then told he needed another $300. At that point, my brother had already given everything he had available and had to call me asking for help because he needed transportation to get to his medical appointments. After we became involved, it became clear how uncomfortable this situation was. My brother informed me that they repeatedly reminded him that they controlled the tow service, which made him feel pressured and concerned about losing access to the vehicle, which felt like unnecessary pressure and intimidation. From our perspective, it created the feeling that his situation was being used against him because they knew he needed the vehicle. Later, we were told there would be another $250 added to his next two car payments. The entire process became a constant battle over money and communication. What should have been a simple vehicle purchase turned into months of stress and frustration. The registration process was also unacceptable. Instead of receiving his permanent tag in a timely manner, my brother was repeatedly given temporary tags while the dealership continued delaying the situation. The entire experience felt like going through a painful divorce a long, exhausting process where every step became a struggle and where getting basic responsibilities handled required constant effort and confrontation. After months of phone calls, delays, and having to personally step in to help my brother resolve issues that should have been handled by the dealership, we finally reached the point where the rim situation had to be addressed. Even then, we were told the mechanic was unavailable and that my brother would need to pay someone else to reinstall a rim that the dealership had removed. That was unacceptable. The final interaction with management was extremely disappointing. After everything my brother went through, there was no accountability, no acknowledgment of the frustration caused, and no willingness to have a professional conversation about how this situation was handled. A dealership should make customers feel respected and protected, not pressured and ignored. This experience left us feeling that my brother's trust, financial situation, and disability were not treated with the care and respect they deserved. I strongly recommend anyone considering doing business here to carefully inspect the vehicle, document every conversation, and make sure every promise is put in writing before moving forward. The owner needs to hand the business back to the old GM Mr colón or her husband.

On June 6, 2026, I decided to trade in my K5 and went to Kia of Homestead, where I purchased a 2026 Sportage. The monthly payment wasn't exactly what I wanted, but that's something that can happen. My bad experience started with the trade-in. My K5 had positive equity, and I was told I would receive a $1,000 refund check within two weeks or less. To make a long story short, I've called several times, and nobody seems to know anything about the check. No one can give me a clear answer. I also called Kia Finance, and they confirmed that my previous vehicle was paid off a while ago, but they don't know anything about a refund check either. My advice is simple: if you want to avoid this kind of experience, sell your trade-in to a company like CarMax instead. They pay you on the spot, and then you can take your money and buy the car you want from any dealership. This won't happen to me again. I won't be doing business with Kia of Homestead in the future. I feel very disappointed and misled by the way this situation has been handled.

Our car buying experience started with the General Manager, Phil, who reached out personally to help us get the exact car we wanted at a price we could afford. We also worked with Raynbow who is truly the best sales rep we've ever worked with. She was very detailed, patient, and informative with the car's features. Jesus, the finance manager, also played a key role in working with the banks to get the numbers to suit our budget. Overall, the team at Spitzer was excellent at communicating with my husband and me throughout the entire process and set realistic expectations so that there wouldn't be any hidden surprises. My car buying experience at Spitzer was great and we'll be recommending them to our friends & family.

During a service visit, my wife's Jeep had a tire rotation and not long after leaving the dealership, the wheel came off just down the street. There were only two lug nuts still holding it on. My wife and our 2-month-old daughter were in the vehicle, just two blocks from the expressway. I don't even want to imagine what could have happened if they had reached highway speeds. The response I received from the dealership? A simple "sorry." The incident damaged the rim, and a new one had to be ordered. They towed it back to the dealership and reinstalled the tire and ushered us off. That wasn't even the worst experience. I purchased a Ram 1500 that spent 7 out of the 11 months I owned it in the service center here. The truck would stall randomly, and tapping the brakes would engage the parking brake a dangerous and unacceptable defect. After a long and exhausting back-and-forth, the dealer bought the truck back at nearly a $20,000 loss to me, then rolled the balance into a new vehicle. Let's not forget that a few years back, an employee left the lot recklessly and tragically killed a child -- yet somehow, they're still operating like nothing happened.
