Our 9 year old dog went through many years with bad groomers and now for the past few years we have been taking her to Quinci after the first groom, Mia happily goes in. I thought they were going to take Tiger into another room, off to the side, where it was a little quieter and out of the chaos. They did not. They took the carrier, placed it on a table, grabbed Tiger by the scruff, and without concern for him, or his wellbeing, forcefully held him up, leaned him back, and clipped his front nails. They didn't even fully remove him from his carrier, they just kind of left him hanging half in, half out. He looked terrified. Then, they flipped him head down in the carrier, back legs out, held him down and clipped his back nails. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Tiger came to Utah last March via Delta Airline in his carrier, in the cabin with me. He was relaxed, quiet and comfortable throughout the flight. He trusted me. Since the disregard for his well being at the Dogroom, he now runs under the bed when I get home. If he so much as hears the closet door open where his carrier is kept, under the bed he goes. That was 2 1/2 months ago! Tiger is a 13 year old, beautiful, blue eyed, part Siamese, teddy bear of a cat, weighing in at 15.5 pounds. My heart is broken. I feel horrible I subjected him to this ABSOLUTELY UNnecessary, UNprofessional encounter. Though he is trusting me a little more, I believe it will be awhile before he fully trusts me again - if ever. There is no excuse or reason for their treatment. If they don't want, or like, to do cats nails, they should just say no when asked! They could have save Tiger and me a lot of grief.

Just when I found a groomer I loved, they would end up leaving or getting fired. Something is up with that store! Perhaps poor management? AGAIN, I'm left scrambling for a new groomer! They never let you know in advance. I was told by the store manager that they can't call all of those appointments that are scheduled 3 months out. If you don't mind getting a new groomer all the time, you might not mind the constant changes. I won't be going back. Pretty disappointing and truly they act like they don't really care.
