Horrific experience! The doc (and i use that term loosley) said my dog needed to have her teeth removed, in our first visit! Came back for dentistry, they asked us to drop our dog off at 9 am. Placed multiple calls to see when she would be done. Was told "we have other patients", second call was at 615pm and was told that she had not gone in yet!!!!! We finally got to pick her up at 9pm! That means that my dog had nothing to eat or drink from the night prior to the surgery, until she got home until i got her home at 930! Was handed meds with instructions how to give them, my questions were unanswered! These people in this office including the "dr" are rude, disrespectful, and not the least compassionate! The pace is small, dark, and dirty! I will be calling the board of health in the morning! DO NOT GO TO THIS VET! read more

Also, the pricing for everything is incredibly reasonable Although the hospital is a bit small and worn around the edges, it had an old school country doctor feel that I really liked. Dr. Kass helped my cat when I noticed she was having trouble walking and lost a lot of weight in an extremely short amount of time. He saw her the same night as our phone call and diagnosed her quickly and using techniques that weren't going to cost a ton of money. There was no "emergency" charge. She ended up having a huge tumor in her leg and hip. He aspirated the air to see if the fluid was clear or not to determine what the mass was. Unfortunately, she had to be put to sleep. The office is definitely...different. It is very small and not at all fancy. Some may even say untidy. Overall the care and attention received overshadowed the office appearance. The Doc was matter of fact about her situation and I appreciated that. read more

I'm sure this doctor was great back in the day, but I'm a bit skeptical of the way he does things. He performed a rectal exam on my kitten right in front of me, while I had to watch him man handle her with tools that I watched him pull out of a cup...tools that weren't wrapped in individual packaging and that did not appear sterile. He also informed me that what I brought her in for would go away in a few days...I waited these few days and brought her to another vet to only find out that she had bronchitis which spread to her lungs. He was only a few dollars cheaper than this place, for a basic check up. He was nice, but I had to wait ten minutes past my appointment time for him to unlock the building which I found unprofessional, as well on the unkempt condition of this vet office which made me feel uneasy from the get go. I feel terrible posting a negative review, but he misdiagnosed my kitten and doesn't seem to be up to date with modern veterinarian work. read more

This man hung up on me when I was asking for help with my sick dog. To be clear I had called to see about setting up an appointment with my one year old dog WHO IS SICK. Right off the bat he has an attitude. I said "sir if you don't want to help us let me know I'll call someone else". This man told me "yea why don't you do that" and hung up. I took my dog there yesterday under emergency circumstance. No one was up front. After about two minutes, I called for help. A woman came from the back saying very irritated, "I'm coming". She was rude and cruel. I was panicked. I asked her to be patient as I was terrified my dog was dying in my arms. She continued being rude and cruel. NO COMPASSION at al. I begged her for help. I then asked her what was wrong with her and why she was being so hateful. She then told me to take my dog somewhere else. She actually called the vet I ended up at in Greensboro to see if he was ok. The absolute worse when it comes to empathy, or caring for a dying animal. We called to make an appointment to have our beloved dog euthaized. It was obvious to us that the time had come. Within two hours of our scheduled appointment, we had to call All Paws to let them know that the dog's condition had worsened and that it was having seizures and in pain. We asked to bring the dog in immediately as it was clearly suffering. I was told on the phone, by a very rude and uncaring receptionist, "We will have to charge you an additional $100 emergency vist fee". Bad enough. But, when we get to All Paws we are told that the vet can provide a tranquilizer to calm the dog while they prep him to be euthanized, but we will have to agree to pay for the tranquilizer. Lastly, in the middle of the prep to euthanize "Cisco", the vet stops what he is doing, leaves the examination room to sell flea shampoo to a customer who just walked in off the street! This veterinarian should lose his license to practice. The office is dirty and with only one way in and out of the single examination room, our dog now deceased, is brought out in full site of children who are waiting with their parents in the waiting room! You cannot make this stuff up. Do yourself a favor, stay away from the uncaring, unempathetic creep! read more

What a horrible experience.. I took my dog today for a an emergency..my dog had a problem with his back legs he couldn't walk.. Dr Kass have a sign outside . Says for emergency call his cell phone.. He never answer. The phone.So we wait outside for him. Because Wednesday nights has surgeries. He came out an hour and a half later and he said to me don't you see that I'm busy with surgeries next time read The sign is in English not Spanish.. I am not one to talk poorly of an establishment but for anyone that has pet this is important. My family has been going to All Paws for years and the times were incredibly average. My dog recently started to have a growth and we brought her to All Paws and the vet was less than kind. The vet diagnosed my dog with breast cancer by just looking at her and we were told that my dog only had a few weeks to live. We were given very few options to help her. One of those options was to get x-rays done. We brought my dog back to All Paws a two days later and the vet had no idea who we were. They proceeded to put my dog under to get x-rays when they realized they could not get the x-ray machine to work (they didn't even have the machine on when we went in) and stopped the procedure. Having to be told that your dog is going to die with no options of helping her and being told with no empathy or kindness is one the most heartbreaking experiences I have ever done through and I would never wish anyone to go through. We ended up going to Tinton Falls Veterinary Hospital where they did a full work up on my dog and removed the tumor a few days later. Today, we found out the tumor was benign and my dog is doing great. The Vet we there met with here was unbelievably kind, answer questions throughly and gave us options. The experiences at the 2 places are literally night and day. I highly encourage you when it comes to picking a vet, do not choose All Paws. If you love your animal then please pick another facility. No person or animal should go through what my family had to go through. read more

Recommended by a friend my dog had a urinary Tract infection she is 13 years old not that age makes a difference in any case ! He had her on the table , I wasn't aloud to go in because of covid but I could see in. He put her on this small table with her neck tethered. Then his phone rang ! He answered and talked! Oh byw he had no vet assistant or anyone but himself!! I watched her get stressed on the table because you can see her from the area he put me in. She fell off the side and was choking on the tether and I had to come in myself and get her back on the table !! The guy didn't say sorry or anything like it was normal! She was choking ! He took it like it was a normal thing ! Never take you animals here. No computer to save Info either has no idea who your pet is or any records! lost my dogs rabies and shot records said my dog was never there when he had ear surgery from a hematoma there !! Doctor is never able to help you with any records or any information that requires him to talk to anyone. Do you need a reference to adopt a pet? Well... don't even try it. Do you want to order any medication on the internet and need a prescription verification? Well... you are out of luck. This doctor will literally told me that he'll write one paper prescription but if he does, I was no longer allowed to bring my dog back again for any services. He is completely against any type of technology. No computer records AT ALL. Not even paper records are kept. He doesn't have a secretary or vet assistant so he does it all himself and he gets very cranky when he gets overwhelmed. He is nice to the pets and seems knowledgeable but unless you are planning to ONLY speak to him in person, forget about it. And you better make it quick, because he doesn't have neither time nor patience to answer any questions. Therefore, customer service SUCKS! read more

I chose this place based on great yelp reviews. I was happy that they were able to squeeze me in at the last minute. Other than that--very disappointing experience. The "hospital" is a tiny messy clinic, the exam was rushed... the doctor did not even review records I brought with. After a cursory exam and minimal questioning I was told we need bloodwork--for another $128. Was ushered out with no answers--the only possible diagnoses I got were ones I had suggested based on my own common sense. I wish he just gave me the freakin antibiotics I knew my dog prob needed--instead he gave pain medications to see if we can mask any pain she might be feeling. absurd. $200 later, no answers. I have been bringing my pets to Dr. Kass for well over 15 years. I have had domestic kitties throughout the years and Labrador Retrievers. Dr. Kass has nursed my Black Labs' hunting feet and 'big dog' illnesses, including 2 types of cancer. She lived to a ripe old age of 13 1/2. He has been caring for my Chocolate who is quite healthy at age 3 and now my White Lab puppy. Dr. Kass always answers his phone in case of emergency which has been my experience with my beloved Tabby cat who seems to suffer from asthma or a sort of feline COPD. Gasping for air, my poor old cat hung in there for treatmet at All Paws. I thought we'd have to put him down but quick-thinking-Kass saved his life just in time and I am ever so greatful. Dr. Kass' office offers a no-frills environment which really does not bother me as I am not there for the ambiance or for the over rated 'hospital' experience. Kass provides a clean work area and just treats my animal. End of story. He is jolly and provides a wealth of information if you care to sit and have a one-on-one visit with him. Dr. Kass employs two great girls who sit at the front desk. They have been with him for a while; no high turn over receptionists here! Dr Kass is fairly priced and will offer you options based on his findings during the pets exam. His honesty usually will help you to decide on the best treatment decisions, as he will always let you have the final say regarding your pet. No high-pressure tactics for high ticket treatments.
