I'm all about helping local businesses, especially when I'm in serious need of services! I went in for a simple oil change on my Subaru, and All Phase had a $29.99 special going on . I confirmed this when I dropped off the car. First, I was a little disappointed when I noticed there was no waiting area, but I used this time to go have some lunch. I took my time, and called to get an ETA. This was about 45 minutes after dropping off the car. They hadn't started yet, and it was next in line. I didn't feel comfortable lingering at the local pizza joint anymore, so I made my way to the Starbucks. I was there easily for another hour, when I felt I should find out what was going on. I called, and found out it was ready. I don't know how long it had been ready, but I thought it was very bad form that they didn't call to let me know. When I went to pick up the car, I found that the bill was $61.92 because the special didn't include synth oil, which is what my Subaru uses. They showed me the flyer where this was clearly stated. I hadn't seen the flyer. Again, not especially a bad thing, but they should have called me as soon as they realized that the bill was going to be different than what I had signed to. I was able to come up with extra cash (thankfully!), but by this time, I was really unhappy with their customer service. That's an integral part of any business. When I got into my car, I noticed that the floor mat was covered with the fine dirt from their lot. I deduced from this evidence that they didn't use a protective cover when moving the car. *sigh* I really don't like writing bad reviews, especially for locals, but this shop needs to up their customer service game. I hope they were just having a bad day. I know I'll be taking my other car to another shop for the oil change in a couple of weeks. read more

OMG! Is all I can say. I'll never go anywhere else. This isn't a fancy shop, it's very old school looking with motor belts hanging along the upper walls like wallpaper valance. Here is the scoop, I had been told twice by another shop that I need a $2000 repair on my car. Head Gaskets! The first time I went alone and then the second time brought my husband. Both times the mechanic insisted I need this $$$ repair. (BTW that shop is in Auburn, not Colfax) My car had been smoking oil for a long time as I lamented about what to do, repair an old car or buy a used car and this dragged on As a last resort I left work early and met my husband at All Phase to have them look at it. They had it up on the hoist and really REALLY looked it over. They said they didn't think it was the head gasket and to be sure could I bring the car back and they'd put a dye in the oil and see where this leak was coming from. They called and said it was the oil pan gasket and was less than a couple hundred dollars!!! I was apprehensive at first thinking, is this too good to be true, I drove and waited for the smoke to reappear. Each day as it got hotter I waited.. They said there was so much oil under the car that I might smell oil burning off... which I did as time went on, no smell. Even on the hottest days, I waited to see the smoke again.. and guess what.. NO SMOKE!!!! I went through hell for about 6 months thinking I needed a new car and these guys are so sweet and so honest I'll never go anywhere else. My car is a 99 Mercury and I love it and it's paid for and thanks to All Phase Auto it no longer smokes!!! read more

My wife and my two young children we're heading to Reno and I had transmission problems pulled over and spoke to the guys at the shop took a look at my truck reassured me that I'd be safe to head back down the hill to the local dealership without destroying my truck or harming my family I really appreciate everything they did in a really bad situation when I was really stressed out can't say thank you enough I tried to give them money for their services but they would not except it no matter how many times I offered really straightforward and honest guys highly recommended. Bobby just saved our asses. Had a blow out on 80 after business hours and happened to catch him leaving for the night. He reopened the shop with his friends waiting for him and proceeded to mount a new tire for us. Great guy and great service on short notice. We were blessed to have found this garage and Bobby. I was just at the beginning of a long car trip to Montana. Right outside of Colfax, my car started acting up. I called All Phase and they told me they can get me right in to check it out. As a female, mechanics typically do not treat me as a knowledgable car expert to say the least. The folks at All Phase were super friendly, listening intently to my theories and explain action regarding my car. They took it out for a test drive and fixed the car right up in under 30 minutes. These guys are awesome. I even may consider coming all the way from the South Bay if anything on my car acts up again. read more

These guys are awesome, I brought my car in to have the starter replaced and I had a great experience. Someone from the shop made sure I was kept in the loop with the progress of the repair, since the part had to be delivered. Wow!! Can't believe how awesome these guys were. We had a problem with our trailer brakes not working when we are getting on the road and every shop in town referred us elsewhere. They told us to come by even though they were very busy. They took 15 min to mess with our car and trailer brakes and fixed out problem. They really made our vacation smooth and safe when it could have been a massive headache. We are local in Colfax and we will be back to All Phase. Thanks again guys. These guys are AMAZING! I had been quoted by another local shop $80.00 to fix an A/C belt that had snapped which is pretty high considering it's a quick and simple job. I called these guys and they had time for me within minutes! Not only did they replace my A/C belt but they also fixed this awful squealing noise for almost half the price of what I was quoted by the other shop! I will be going back to them for all of my mechanical needs from now on! read more

If I could give this place no stars i would. The guy didn't fix our car he looked at it, then asked if he could have it for free. He told us our engine was blown but wont tell us how?We said no and he is having a fit because we don't wanna give our car to him for free. We offered him to buy it for 200-300$ he said no and is very passive-aggressive. Also left our hood popped open when the shop was closed right out front where people could have stolen parts. We know because when we went there to get stuff out of the car that's what we saw. we let him know you cant have the car free he is charging us out the ass why were having pick-n-pull come take it (because we wont give it to him for free). Was our first time here and I PROMISE our last. Very unprofessional auto shop wouldn't recommend or ever go back. They also charge out the ass to have your car looked at. 0 out of 5 stars. These guys have been maintaining my cars for years. What you give up here is uniforms, a big staff, and lies. What you get is honest reliable service, possibly not as quick as a big shop since they are so small, no weekend service, and unusual parts may take a day or two longer. I'll take that tradeoff any day ending in 'y'. read more
