We bought a new hot tub and placed on a hill in our backyard. All we needed is the juice that heats up the water and turns on the heavenly jets. I contacted Jason before the tub was delivered based on the reviews below and he gave us a fair estimate. he showed up on time and did an amazing job. He had to get into a very tight crawl space under the house in order to run the line and he got 2 helpers (like Jason, polite and professional) to dig a couple of long trenches to connect the house and deck. Yes, it seems as if all the hype is true: Jason is outstanding. In fact, I think there should be a new phrase "to be Jasoned" which means to receive polite, knowledgeable and excellent service. It is so good to find these great guys. They are out there but can be very hard to find. The best thing about this review and recommendation is it being based on a direct comparison with two other electricians' work. Basically, I had a couple of dubious contractors come round (courtesy of American Home Shield!) and I was not convinced by their manner or diagnosis. Decided to search YELP for a well-reviewed electrician and get a "third opinion". Left a message for Jason in the morning, got a reply within 45 mins and a visit later in the day. Found, understood and fixed the problem within an hour. Was very respectful, genuine and clearly skilful. Thank goodness we phoned him. Both other contractors could not even find the problem and were recommending going into the walls which, of course, AHS were not going to pay for ( and which, according to Jason, is the absolute extreme course of action). And now, for a fraction of what it was going to cost, we have our problem solved, future problems pre-empted (Jason found a whole burnt-out circuit box) and a new member of the Jason Arbil fan club. Jason came to look at my jet tub and even taught me how to install retrofit LED recessed lighting. Although, he could not fix the jet tub, he did explain why and what I needed to do. Electrical work is a funny thing. Something stops working, and you basically get to trace it from one end of the house to the other to track it down. Sometimes it is easy and fast, and sometimes it takes a ton of time. You don't know which it will be going in. We had several outlets go out in a circuit. I have done a lot of electrical work, including wiring two houses, so I'm pretty competent. But after a couple hours of tracing the problem, I realized I needed someone with more experience to find it. I called Jason around 1:30 pm on a saturday afternoon, and received a call back a couple hours later; he was out with his daughter on the bike trail, and said he'd head home and come on over. He quoted me $150 to diagnose the problem, and if he couldn't diagnose it I wouldn't pay. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and it took him over three hours to trace it to a short in an outlet box behind a bookshelf (which he helped me move). A bit of work needed to be done to fix it, but the total cost ended up being the $150 diagnosis fee. He cleaned up after himself, closed up all the outlets and switch boxes both of us had opened in diagnosing the problem, and tested every outlet. And that's the funny thing about electrical work. Sometimes you show up and it's obvious, and the time investment is minimal. This time, he spent almost four hours in my home, crawled through the attic amongst the blown-in fiberglass, helped me move a bookshelf, and traced it down and fixed it. If all contractors served customers like Jason, the world would be a way better place. I enthusiastically recommend him. read more

If I could give him 10 stars...he would deserve them all. I've used Allphase electric 2 times before for a shorted outlet and to install ceiling lights so I knew Jason's exceptional work. Found out yesterday that my main electrical panel had some melted, burned wires which shorted out my pool system and posed a fire hazard. I called Allphase Electric as soon as I found out and left a message because it was after hours. Jason called the next day and said he could come out that afternoon. He got everything fixed while I was at work, called me to discuss what he did, texted me pictures of my fixed main panel and left me the invoice in my mailbox.
