A large bird flew into our screened porch door, got trapped there. He made a large tear in our screen. I contacted All Screens and Amy set up the appointment to meet my schedule. Rik installed a screen door for us a couple years back and it worked perfectly until someone walked into it and bent the frame! Although it was still functional with a bent frame, Rik came out to see if it could be repaired. He was able to bend the frame back into place without needing to replace anything (which speaks to the quality of his work), and didn't charge anything for the visit. I'm not real thrilled with their customer service for 2 reasons. I call to have 3 screens replaced. Rick and his son showed up and I directed them to the two doors and one window I need replaced. I asked them to use my back gate so they wouldn't have to come in my home due to Covid 19. Later Rick knocked in my door and said he was done. Then he walked into my home uninvited with out a mask and asking for payment. When I started checking the screens he said his work order didn't include the window so he only had the two screen doors....Next he tells me there would be an additional delivery charge to have them come back and that I should go to his shop to pick up the missing screen that I ordered. That just bad business! He used the excuse that his wife who written work order has "cancer brain". I think that would inspire him to were a mask and not just walk into homes uninvited. The screens are acceptable quality but if your concerned about Covid -19 or want everything you order I suggest you look elsewhere. I wish his wife a speedy cancer recovery. read more

I opted for a security screen door because I live in a very hot area and wanted to keep the wooden front door open at night to let cool air in, but still have there be a locked barrier. I sleep at night feeling totally safe that no person can enter my home. You can't even use an axe to get through this door, Rick (the owner) says! I had a security door installed and I love it! The installation was quick and the door looks great. Based on that experience I decided to us the company install solar screening on the solarium. The replacement of the screens went well - but the installation of the screens ended up with an issue. I contacted the office via email, received a call back after business hours and was told the problem WOULD be taken care of with no charge to me. AND IT WAS!! My home in Rohnert Park needed some sorely needed window screens replacements a year ago in all nine windows. I called a few local companies to appraise the project. One man from a small company came and promised an appraisal and quick fabrication of copper metal screens. He never got back to me. That is when I called All Screens! Rik Withington of All Screens answered on my first call and was out to my home the next day on time as agreed. He carefully measured every window and offered me several options. The option I had not been aware of was a screen product that not only covered the "open" part of my windows like traditional screens do, but a solar screen that covered the entire window! This serves as both a bug screen and a Ultra-Violet "sun screen" to help keep my house cooler and save on air-conditioning bills! Rik took about a week to fabricate the 80% light filtering sun screens for all nine windows which included a custom installation for my sliding glass door. I was involved with each window install and Rik carefully explained every step of the way. He even welcomed my input when I requested specific placement of the securing pins around the windows. All windows were completed in a couple hours and looked fabulous! My neighbors all complimented me on the new richer look and my next door neighbor called Rik several months later to have all her south facing windows done with the same solar screens! When Rik installed my neighbor's screens, I happened to be home and asked him to add a couple more securing pins around one particularly large window that buffeted too much in a recent wind storm. Rik dropped everything and quickly put two more pins exactly where I asked. Problem solved! A year later when I sold my home, my Real Estate agent and a number of other agents commented on how the Solar Screens from Rik's company had enhanced the look of my house making it even more lovely! Rik is a sensitive man who tries hard to satisfy his customers. He is very friendly and loves to share his stories and spends a lot of time sharing information. It saddens me whenever I read Yelp reviews that conveys dissatisfaction and uses harsh criticism in doing so. I cannot speak to the unpleasant and disappointing experiences others have written about with All Screens, but I can unequivocally state that every experience I've had with Rik Withington has been positive and professional. As coincidence has it, the new home I moved into last week in Rincon Valley needed total window screens replacement. This home was a rental home for me and I was pleasantly surprised that the Landlord had chosen All Screens to do the job! Apparently my new landlord has used Rik in the past for all of his investment properties with great satisfaction. Rik called to set-up appointments with me for both the measuring and follow-up installation dates. Just like before, I walked around the house with Rik and he showed me his measurements on the eleven windows needing screen replacement. Two of them were for sliding glass doors and required extra work on the tracks. He showed up early for the measurement appointment and also for the installation day appointment as well. I had to apologize to Rik twice because I was late arriving for our agreed times. He was very gracious in both situations and completed his work quickly while also being his usual friendly self! These screens were not whole window solar screens, but traditional insect screens. They looked great none-the-less and I was happy that All Screens did the job! I am an extremely hard customer to satisfy and I have very high standards in both products and services, especially in the contractors who I use in my home. Well they offered to repair it right then. Prices seemed very reasonable. Now if you go to the business its at their home so dont worry if your GPS is taking you into a neighborhood. First off, let's address the reviews that are filtered and the ones that appear when you look at the Yelp page. I have been reviewing business in Yelp for some time now and find it very interesting that the only reviews that appear for this business are the negative ones and yet, when you open up all the filtered reviews - you will see that they are overwhelmingly positive. So, I will be interested to see if my review appears - as it does for any other business I have reviewed. That being said - here is our story. Our 30 year old house needed new screens - husband didn't want to tackle them on his own, so he took some screens to a local place - but they said that it would take a week and the price was high. They recommended taking the screens to All Screens (imagine a competitor recommending a business?) So, husband calls up All Screens and.the screens were done well, on time and much more inexpensively and they look great. This business is honest, and charges a fair price. We will use them again when we need screen work. So, bottom line, open up the filtered reviews and make your own decision. We did and had a very positive experience. Post script: I find it very interesting that when my review first posted, it was visible, and now when I go back a few weeks later, it is filtered. And while Yelp has added a couple of positive reviews, to the originally only negative ones that appeared, the negative ones still outweigh the positive. I have heard some rumors that Yelp will 'bump up' the positive reviews if, as a business you buy ads through them - I see this business does not. I would like to think that isn't the case, but it sure looks like it here. read more

I had a very negative experience with this company. The owner Rik was very unprofessional and lacked follow through. He would say he'd call me back but then wouldn't and I would have to call again. I tried to change my appointment and he didn't get the message apparently and showed up at my apartment the next day when I had already left for work. He seemed annoyed and said he wouldn't come back for such a small job. I found another screen that needed fixing, which would have made it a bigger job, and he said he couldn't do it cause he was going on vacation. He didn't offer to contact me upon his return. Rik lacks customer service skills, which is pretty detrimental for a small business. I can't comment on his work, since he didn't end up doing any, but it was such a hassle dealing with him, that you're better off going elsewhere. I ended up going with ScreenMobile, which was efficient and great at returning my calls for the same price. read more

Rick from All Screens came to our house not only on a holiday but on the day we called. He was super nice and fantastic in every way! We did not know it but he could tell that he had made our screen door probably some thirty years ago. It needed new wheels and a new rubber strip. He reinstalled the screen door and checked to make sure everything works smoothly. We asked how he would like to be paid and to our huge surprise, he told us that there would be no charge since he guarantees his screen doors for life! My dogs decided to create their own dog door out of our sliding screen door and the duct tape was no longer holding. Gave Rick a call after a quick google search for screen repair, said he could get me in right away and would be out the door in 30 minutes.
