My wife accidentally broke one of our double pane windows in our bathroom. I was able to take out the impacted frame and brought it down to their showroom. I was greeted by a nice gal who said it would be three business days (it also was a holiday weekend) and they actually got it done in two business days and called me promptly. This business has helped me many times with window issues in my home. The first one was a severely leaking sky light, and the second time was replacing a large garden window. I'm waiting for them to swap out another garden window. The folks that come to your home and do the estimates and the actual work are always nice, professional and kind the folks on the telephone are *sometimes* nice but you really don't have to talk with them for extended stretches of time, so your experience with the telephone folks will only be temporary (and faceless) lol! read more

I have been a customer of Archers Glass for over 30 years when they where in Cotati. The owner was a very nice man that.is why I was a loyal customer. I recently needed a window replaced so I took my window frame and the office staff was very friendly but.when i went back to pick up my window Caitlin who took over after her father passed away was the rudest person I have ever met. I was blown away. I was given my window but there was only one line through it instead of having the squares which would have been wrong because my window was just clear. Caitlin heard the conversation and called me a liar. I was so upset because she didnt believe me and i had to call my son to take a picture of the window to prove i wasnt lying and even after showing her the photo she turned to tell another employee she still didnt believe me i was an f..ing liar and to top it all of i had paid in full in advance and because of their mistake she charged me an extra $30 and i am not even sure for what all that i can come up with is to pay to fix their mistake because it was rhe same window. I will never go there again and i will never recommend them to anyone i know.​ read more

We needed to replace some casement windows that were less than 20 years old and installed by another local window company. That was a disappointing and frustrating experience so I didn't have much hope for working with another place on the replacement. Arch's came highly recommended from a local Facebook group so I gave them a call. They sent someone out and based on his assessment, casement windows are not recommended in the size we needed. They were too large and it stresses the framing over time, and causes the issues we were having--they wouldn't close and the hardware was breaking. He recommended a single hung, which was not my first choice but given everything, I'm very very satisfied that we went with that. The windows are beautiful and actually feel bigger (due to less framing needed) and operate perfectly. The house feels very secure and airtight now. The installation was smooth and quick, and very professional. I highly recommend Arch's glass and will be calling them for other projects. If there was a way to only remove 1/2 star I would. The reason for the deduction was that the communication with proposal and scheduling was not great. It seems like they would do well to hire a second person to help with that. Otherwise I am a very happy customer. read more

Honestly I tried so hard to give this business my money but the girls that work in the office and do the scheduling can't get it together or don't care I do not recommend them at all. I understand getting employees during Covid it is hard but returning A phone call seems to be way too difficult for them. After the fourth time I called just trying to get on a schedule to have the window I waited a year to get To finally be installed I was treated rudely on the phone so I decided to pick up my window and go elsewhere after reading some of their other reviews it seems like this is common with the office ladies For future I will find another place for windows read more

I have a couple double pane windows where the gas inside failed, resulting in condensation between the 2 pieces of glass. Imagine walking down the stairs and the first thing you see are 2 fogged over windows. Really annoying. I thought I'd have to change the whole window, but no - you can just change the glass. So I had Arch do it. I am very pleased with the result and glad I didn't have to rip out molding, yank out entire assemblies, and change entire windows. Like most contractors in Sonoma County, they are extremely busy. Time frame: initial phone call on Aug 22 to Oct 19 for completion. Somwhere inbetween this timeframe, one piece of glass was made incorrectly. They gave it priority and moved me forward. Mistakes happen. No worries. If you need work done, do book in advance. That's the nature of things given aging homes and the fires in Sonoma County. Sean (Shawn) and an associate did the installation. They were very polite and professional. I asked them, while they have the ladder up, if I could get up there and wipe down the overhang chandelier. Well, they did it for me as a bonus! Overall customer service experience has been poor. Every time I call there is a different person answering the phone. My quote was lost??!! Someone came to measure and then the office lost the measurements??!! When I asked what was going on after two weeks of no word and phone calls not returned, someone called me back with more excuses and then hung up on me??!!Lots of excuses for why things were not ordered or in on time. To get it all solved it has been a 7 week process. I had a shattered sliding glass door...I will say they were kind enough to tell me that I did not need a whole new glass door. They also checked to see if the door was under warranty. The installer was personable and offered to replace the screen on the door that was accidentally cut at no charge. read more

Terrible phone manner from these people. I've *had* to work with them because they are the co my landlord has chosen. Each time they are very short, rude and condescending. I guess they have customers falling at their feet and throwing money at them so there's no need to be polite and kind. Can't wait to be done with these people!! Jerks.... These guys are great. They stick with what they do best, and will refer you to other contractors if they see problems. They put in three new sliding doors, and a glass shower. The work was excellent, and have had no issues. The Trim on the doors could not be completed because of a new deck being built, and they were good about rescheduling when the deck was completed. My living room window broke and I needed to replace the glass. So I called up Arch's glass shop in Cotati. The very nice lady told me to bring in the window and they would be able to replace the glass before the day's end. So I left the kids with grandpa and brought the window in.The people working were super helpful, courteous, and provided me with the exactly the right sized replacement window.
