We could not be happier with the transformation of the space in our house. Richard and Joe's team knocked down a wall and transformed a previously unusable space to an inviting living space and expansion of our kitchen. Of course with any renovation project we ran into unforeseen issues (hvac needed to be moved, plumbing fixed, and salvaging the wood floors by filling in the areas where the wall had been removed with walnut), however the team always had a creative and cost effective solution. His team also created custom shelving and a mantel from a piece that we had purchased from exotic lumber. We had an overall vision of what we wanted, but trusted Richard Hammond Builders to execute and make adjustments as necessary. The project was completed on time and under budget. They left the yard so clean that you wouldn't have even known they had been there. We've used them for the original roof several years ago and new siding a couple years ago. The prices were very reasonable. I hope we don't need to call them any time soon, but I would if I needed similar services. I know they're supposed to be but they were great before the sale. The sales team kept in touch, came out to walk us through the process. They even stopped by to pick up a check. And it didn't feel pushy or sleazy. I felt like they genuinely wanted to serve us.

Victor came out and conducted a garage attic inspection using a tall ladder ceiling hatch. He didn't enter the lighted attic but just did a visual inspection using a flashlight. After his inspection, Victor claimed one side of my roof needed an asphalt roofing patch. What he didn't tell me was that, five to six feet from his attic ladder inspection, was an extremely obvious water pipe leak that had created black fungus on nearby wood. So obvious you could easily view without a flashlight. So what we have here is deceiving a possible customer by telling him he has a roofing leak when, in reality, a plumber was needed to correct the interior water pipe leak. Thus, my one-star rating, which actually should be lower.

Was really happy with what Henry had to say as well as his price (literally 1/3 of what at least one other estimate was), and even better, he said "Yeah, we also do gutter work and siding power washing". So we had them do it all!! Communication was great. And continues to be great. They did the work and I asked them to return a couple of months later for some minor "touch-up" sorts of stuff. They did so with no hesitation. Really happy with everything and we will definitely have them come back every 2-3 years for more power washing and driveway sealing.
