I had an awful experience. Have been waiting to get a massage after 1.5 covid year! I see the male masseuses here had good reviews. And I didnt see many positive reviews for a female so didnt know who to ask for. After reading what one of these girls went through with one of the male masseuses I specifically asked for a female. I asked for 1 hour full body and strong massage. I was basically rubbed with oil and not much of a massage. No tissue kneading, no releasing tense muscles. I had to show the masseuse how to massage and she got angry swearing something in chinese and would go back to just softly rubbing oil. I could feel her negative vibrations so the whole point of the massage was moot. Also the AC wasnt on and with the light surgical mask I was suffocating. And this woman kept tucking my head in a towel?! Best part she goes "finished" and did not touch my front body at all. This usually includes the head, stomach, thighs and calf. I had very tight thigh muscles so I called the front desk manager to complain and she gave me extra 10 mins with this person cursing away. Awful just awful. I understand masseuse might be tired or had a bad day or something. For me if the employee frustration comes on the client its either the place is awful to work for or the employee just doesnt want to work. Either way both scenarios dont sit well with me. I have been going to chinese places for 15 years as they are amazing in massages and this place was the worst. The process is massaging with a towel on, followed by cracking the back, followed by kneading and tissue massage of back, arms, legs, and feet followed by front body massage with head, stomach an legs followed by stretching to end. None of this was done. Personally never going back here since I need a female masseuse. read more

I confess I was very concerned to go to a massage place during this pandemic. I've been having a lot of lower back pain recently so I had to try something. I used to go to another place in Astoria but it's closed now. So I made a research online and I found this place on Yelp. As soon I arrived I talked to the desk person. She checked my temperature. A massage therapist was available on time. This guy called Jason was incredible. He did a deep tissue like I never had before. This entire place is renovated, clean, and fresh. The room was very clean and the massage therapist was wearing mask and following all the protocols. Jason was beyond professional. He was incredibly good. 5 start definitely. I'm not entirely sure but I believe my masseuse was rubbing his genitals in my hand at one point. I moved my hand immediately when I realized what might have happened. I told the guy at the front desk to give me her name because she did such a great job I gave Lulu a $20 tip and she grabbed it with an attitude and walked away from me. The guy at the front desk then asked me "did you like her"? After I already told him that I loved her he then said well normally people tip more so you should tip more. Unfortunately, with this one, I got a bad experience!! 1. The assigned person had to stop the massage three times to answer the phone (I may think it was the manager). She then asked if it was OK to serve another person, which I accepted. 2. This person was all over my body without technique, without order, and putting way too much pressure that it hurt. (I love deep tissue, but this one was not way close to pleasant). 3. The guy burps several times (I apologize if you think it is OK), but I found it disgusting when someone is burping grossly on top of you. 4. The guy has a runny nose and was making this sound when you suck that mucus back into your mouth from your nose. 5. They said that I have to leave a minimum of $10.00 tip. I just left a $5.00 tip when I paid because I didn't think the guy deserved more. Not for that service. 6. I am not going back to this place ever. !!STAY AWAY!!. I came to this place for a massage and a deep cleaning facial. The massage was alright. The "deep cleansing facial" on the other hand was not. It was pretty clear that the lady had no idea what she was doing. There was no extraction whatsoever and kept the facial steamer going more than half the time that irritated my face. I asked the lady about the extraction which she just replied "okay", but continue to just put the mask on. After the mask my face got more irritated, which I communicated to her to which she finally stopped. I basically left with my face red and more irritated. I went in for the grand opening special-20 extra minutes of work with an hour massage (the other option is 20% off an hour, but I prefer extra time). Front desk was friendly. Clean and new, not much needed to be done since the previous business was kept up well. Clean wood floors, well lit from front windows, soft ambient music, light incense scent, new foot massage chairs have drink holders. A good vibe. Made my appointment at 11 (though walk ins are of course available). Room area is towards the middle-back, rooms line up in 2 rows. Looks to be about 12 rooms (I didnt stop to count) with full walls, not thin opaque space dividers, and though the walls are not ceiling height, the construction and thicker curtains leading to room provide a good measure of privacy and diffused sounds, and prevent it from being stuffy. Staff member was friendly, asked my level (medium), and checked on me a few times. Didnt need to tell her where particular soreness was, she found it! She had firm hands, an expert touch, managed the time well to cover everywhere, did not just gloss over spots for the sake of time. At $49 for an hour, the cleanliness, quality of massage, friendly staff all around were great and I will definitely return. Vivi is definitely the girl to see if you are experiencing back problems. I have scoliosis & have always suffered from back pain. I honestly haven't had a massage done in years because it's hard to find a good place that is consistent. I have tried acupuncture but its way too pricey. It was the best deep tissue massage I ever got. Vivi was so sweet, she took her time to find all the spots that were hurting the most and focused on them. I walked in after being on my feet all week caused lots of aches and pains that were dying to be massaged. I got a one hour foot massage ($35 but I got 20% off because it was my first time!) and it was very pleasant. I did tell the lady to apply more pressure because she was too gentle, and once she did it was amazing. My only negative is that if you get a foot massage, it's out in the open and creepy men walk by and literally go up to the window and stare at you. I wish I was joking. That's not the massage place's fault though, it's just something I want to point out to customers as an FYI. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place and I'll definitely be returning in the future.
