We have been customers for quite a while, my husband went in asked for an specific person the answer was she moved back to china. He was asked to go to the back and left there for over 20 minutes just waiting laying down on a table, when he went to the front to request help he finally got someone who was sick and also very tired. Every time I go get a massage service, it does not disappoint at all. I feel very relaxed and would go more frequently if they had a teacher discount. Teachers absorb a lot of energies from their students and this would be my therapy. Yet, as someone with constant physical pain, this has been a great way to relieve the pain and tension from the upper back/ neck area and lower back/hip area. Consistent massages here - it's like $50/hr and they start with the towel, rub you down hood there and then introduce hands and oils. They use hot stones as well, so if it's not your thing tell them up front so your not surprised. It's clean and efficient although not a luxury place. I walked in one day with back pain for a deep tissue massage and only had to wait about five minutes before they took me to the private massage rooms. The place is clean and the staff was pleasant. The massage wasn't the best I've ever had, but certainly wasn't the worst. I'd say it was fair for what I paid and I didn't need an appointment. After a long work week and looking forward to an anticipated couples massage we booked 1 hour back, 30 mins foot and 30 mins scalp, I had the worst experience at this spa. My masseuse simply didn't want to be there overall customer service was terrible. I don't know if he was upset because I told him to go a little lighter because it was hurting me prior to beginning the massage the masseuse that was massaging my partner asked how would they would like the massage light or deep tissue my masseuse, however, didn't ask me anything he just started. Even when I turned over on my back I looked over at my partners their eyes was covered and they were all covered up nicely. It was a zero out of five for me. I am surprised at the 5 star reviews. I have never ever had a massage where they hit my head. Like how they thump you after they massage your back, arms and legs... but on my head? A lot of oil, but not much actual massage on my back, it was a 90 min full body massage. I left and felt like hadn't had one. Place is clean, towels are very rough. ESP when they scrub you down after. Just disappointed from seeing such good reviews. It didn't live up to the hype. Good for people who have never had a proper massage before. I like medium pressure massages, and I got a wonderful massage there from a man whose name I think is Danny (I lost the card with his name on it unfortunately). The most recent time I went I had a VERY painful massage with too much pressure despite asking the masseuse to be softer twice. I had a great massage with Jason last weekend. When I walked in, my temperature was taken. I noticed that they were making the effort to adhere to covid guidelines. They don't ask you anything just tell you to go in a room. wasn't asked my preference if i prefer a male or female masseuse the owner was rude. He did an ok job they don't turn you over and they ac was blasting . But that's not even the issue here if your paying by card they charge you $5 extra no reason given the lady i'm assuming that ran the place was unpleasant and charged me $5 additional for using my card no signs or any indication as to why and that they only take cash. I am really sad to be writing this because i have been coming here for years and I actually love this place- amazing value and really great if you like a seriously intense Thai-adjacent style massage. But there is an employee there now who has touched me in a questionable/inappropriate way during my massage not once but now TWICE in the last few months. I now realize I probably should have stopped going after the first incident, but there are other fantastic employees, and you don't really know who is going to be massaging you as you are already face down when they come in. Last night I literally didn't know it was him until he was doing the questionable/inappropriate touching toward the end of my massage. By that point in the process I was extremely relaxed and so in a fairly vulnerable space, which he clearly takes advantage of. This time when it happened I was so shocked I didn't know how to react except to just push his hand away. Thankfully the massage was basically over so I got to just get the hell out of there. The employee is a short thin male, probably middle aged or a bit younger, with a sort of long face, with a haircut that is close cut on the sides and longer/possibly gelled up at the top. I would have messaged them about this privately but there is no way to do that on their website. Go elsewhere for your massages for awhile, I hope they fire this man because it is great otherwise. read more

finally visited all seasons spa on steinway in astoria to get a deep tissue rub and foot massage and i needed it . place has plenty of chairs to get a foot and back rub or if you want the full deal massage , the place has plenty of private rooms with clean laydown massage beds with enough space for the staff to get to work. not much into skin facials or cupping but they offer both as reasonable rates. private room for me as i need my aching back and feet to get the works and gal didnt disappoint with her strong hands. my feet feel so much better and my back is a little sore but gradually getting better and better as time moves foward.rates are reasonable and the spa staff have major skills.its nice to pamper yourself and all seasons spa can help you with that . read more

I can't believe I'm actually writing these words; but the masseuse was eating. While giving a massage. My husband and I have gone in a few times; the location is clean, the price is good. We went in on a Sunday and had side-by-side massages. I was face down and when the gentleman started working on me, he was using one hand and the pressure was extremely light. Then I heard a wrapper open. He started chewing while leaning over me while I was face down. I froze because I thought I was going crazy and was horrified. I felt the food wrapper on my back, so I lifted my head to try to see him, but moved out of my sight line. I was too embarrassed to say anything in the moment. This went on for maybe about 10 minutes. This is on the establishment. 100%. Are they providing their workers breaks? Even 10 minutes? My husband was on the table next to me - so his masseuse had to have seen this. This is beyond disgusting. We will NEVER be returning. read more

I called at around 7pm to get an appointment for an hour body work session. I was told by the lady who answered the phone that they were busy but that I could come at 9:30. I came at 9:30 and waited about 15 minutes to be helped. When the employee there finally addressed me, he told me that they were closed and that I had to come back tomorrow. I told him that I made an appointment and was told to come at 9:30 but he just kept telling me that they were closed and to go home and come back the next day. When I asked for a manager, he refused to get one. I even showed him that this was the place where I made my appointment by going into my recent calls log and calling this spa. He saw the phone ringing, ended the call and told me that I still had to go home. Another customer then came out and said she still needed 30 mins of footwork done and he left me at the counter, went over and began giving her a foot massage while I was still waiting at the counter for something to be done about this unprofessional business conduct. When I came back in doors to ask the man's name before I left, he refused to give me his name and claimed that he didn't know much English, even though he knew enough to tell me that they were busy, and closed, and to come back tomorrow. This was an absolutely disappointing encounter especially because I'm a regular customer here and have a stamp card to prove it. My shoulder was hurt before I went to the massage, but after that my whole back hurts. This is just a TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO. They made me pay $54 instead of $49 just because of the credit card payment. It's just insane. Wow wow wow. I walked into All Seasons Body Work out of desperation since I've been experiencing some muscle pains in my lower back all week, and to my surprise, I actually walked out feeling better than I ever imagined. While the choices for massages in Astoria are abundant, I've never really walked out of a full body massage feeling fully satisfied, until now. I work out about 3 times a week and work at a physically demanding job 5-6 days a week, so I usually commit to getting massages every 2 weeks or so to minimize any long term muscle aches. Formally Natura Spa, All Seasons Body Work is located conveniently next to the R train station on Steinway St. Despite the heavy traffic around the area, the place is a respite away from that with its soothing spa music & comfy chairs. The front contains about 18 chairs for foot rubs, reminiscent of the comfy chairs you'll find at nail salons for an indulgent pedicure. While I did not have the chance to get a foot rub, I did opt for a 30 minute back rub, since my lumbar area was causing me significant pain. My usual haunts were no-frills Chinese owned massage parlors, so I was pleasantly surprised by the clean massage rooms in the back. Not only did the towels they provided seem sturdier and cleaner, but the area was neatly arranged and clean. My main gripes with massages from other spas around this area were that it never fully alleviated any pain or knots I had. During my 30 minute massage, not only did my female masseuse apply an appropriate amount of pressure, but also found other areas on my shoulders and back that I didn't even know were tight. I was thoroughly impressed by her knowledge of pressure points because whatever she did, it really helped. Even though I had originally intended to get a 30 minute back rub, I extended it to a full hour, in which the second male masseuse continued to work through my knots and other painful areas. Normally, other spas I've tried around the area don't apply enough pressure, but here they applied plenty of pressure and I was happily wincing in pain. I left feeling much looser than I ever expected. I will definitely be back for full body massages, and if it continues to deliver, my search for a reliable, honest massage place in Astoria may be over. For anyone looking for a massage, I would definitely recommend this place. Pricing is very reasonable considering the quality of service I received during my visit ($50 for a full hour). read more
