My customer experience was horrible and I do not recommend anyone go to this place. Specially if you have a newer car cause the guy other than having a horrible mess in the office, He has outdated equipment and will not be able to smog your car. Here is what happened to me: Day one I take my car in and the guy tries to plug in his little crappy computer to my 2012 Chrysler 200 and tells me that it doesn't detect my car cause it's too new and the mileage is too low. He then tells me to go drive the car 50 miles and bring it back. Sooo there I go driving to Thousand Oaks and back for him to tell me that his little piece of crap computer will still not detect my car. He then tells me to go drive my car for two days as a daily driver and go back and see him. I did what he told me and went back to him in two days for this guy to tell me that his little machine still did not detect my car and because I had filled my tank of gas he could not do anything. I mean after all the driving he made me do did he really expect me to drive my car on empty. He tells me to go drive my car and bring the gas level to 3/4 and bring back the car to him. at this time I'm already thinking this guy is full of crap and just decided to get a second opinion so I went to Ciro's smog on Saviers, told the guy my story and he was just cracking up and then he was a little pissed off that people like that exist. He plugged in my car to his computer that looked much better and in 15 minutes I was out of Ciro's with my smog check. PLEASE DO NOT GO SEE THAT GUY AT ALL STAR SMOG. I DON"T KNOW IF HE HATES MILITARY PEOPLE OR MEXICAN PEOPLE BUT EITHER WAY PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HIS SHOP. read more

I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment, and the nice man on the phone said no problem, just come in. I was met by a super nice gentleman who took my key and asked me to wait in the waiting room. He came back few minutes later and told me that my old Toyota truck needs to be driven more because it has an internal smog checker - he was right because I only use my truck for HomeDepot run and I had the same issue last time. He spent his time trying to make it work, and he was apologetic when he couldn't make it work as if it was his fault. He told me to drive it for 3-4 consecutive days and bring it back which I did few weeks later. He again took my truck right away, and this time, he was able to check the truck and passed it like he said. This gentleman is super nice, super honest and super efficient and knowledgeable. He even gave me new customer discount which is amazing because he charges much less than any other places i inquired. I passed many closer smog check places from my house in Camarillo to get to his shop in Oxnard, but it was worth every mile and dollar. I recommend this shop without any hesitation!!! read more

This Guy Abbas has got the best bed side manner for a mechanic. He shoots straight and tells ytou exactly what it is you need and DONT need. He is extremely honest to a point that he has a hard time chargeing people( you can see it in his personality that he hates having to charge you but you definately know you were not gouged). Abbas is the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever seen & I worked as one for 15 years. If you are unsure just go there and chat with him about what you think is wrong with your car. He will take you through the steps and show you if you want to that is. You will NEVER pay more than you need to with him. I have a feeling he undercharges at times just to see people smile.I guarantee if you use him as your regular mechanic your car will never be better and your wallet will never be fetter after a repair. Excellent experience. I called this morning to find out if this smog business was a "Star" station as that is what I needed to get my car smogged. I was greeted by a very courteous man who explained to me that his shop was s Star station. He also gave me his business hours, and that he would be able to get me in and out of the shop in 15-20 minutes without an appointment. I read the previous positive reviews and gave All Smog a shot. I am so happy that I did. I drove into the very unassuming shop and was again greeted by the same friendly man. He very quickly directed me to the waiting room where the tv was on. Abbas is a miracle worker (he knows what to look at in the right order when troubleshooting). My car had more than 6 smog error codes (check engine light was on too).
