Searching around Saturday morning, I found Joshua King (aka The Appliance Butler) with great reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor, so I called Saturday about noon. He came out Saturday early evening and diagnosed the problem quickly, but had to order a small part which wouldn't be in till Monday. Monday he came after all his other appointments at about 6pm and had my dryer working in just a few moments. The cost was even better than reasonable. He told me he tries to keep his prices down. About a week later I received a call from the tenants saying the door to the oven wasn't closing properly and the oven wouldn't maintain temperature. I called Appliance Geek back and left a voicemail explaining the issue; never heard back. Called back many times over the next week and left many more voicemails, still did not hear back. I visited the unit to see if I could fix it. The oven door hinges were bent - I assume done when pulling the range out from the wall. I've now had to replace the range and am out a significant amount of money. Poor experience and doesn't seem like they'll stand behind their work. Will avoid in the future.

I contacted them and I have to say I did not have a positive experience with this company. They quoted me a diagnostic fee to come out but I was charged $10 extra at the initial appointment which I did not contest as the entire amount applies to the repair. The technician took a long time to diagnose the issue but what took longer was the process of getting them to come back for the actual repair work. The front desk lady never answers your calls and is very slow in following up with the questions, ordering parts, and scheduling a repair appointment except of course for the initial diagnostic new client appointment. They just slow walk the rest of the process. I am not paying a discounted fee for the service but I sure feel that they provided a subpar discounted customer service for the entire experience. To be fair, the issue was fixed at the end.

Bank said several things needed repair before they would approve. Put a solicit out on yelp and VicKnows was the first to reply. Others did later, but I appreciated his timeliness in communication as well as his commitment to engage with me to hash-out the problem before coming to the house. Vic replaced rusted hot/cold shut-off valves for the washing machine, replaced the faucet for the laundry basin, removed the toilet in the basement bathroom, installed a drain plug to seal off the toilet drain, and installed a supply shut-off valve in the same bathroom for future use. My mother-in-law often don't take too kindly to strangers in her home, but when she met Vic, it warmed her heart.
