I hired them because of their great reviews and the lady I talked to over the phone said the technician would tell us where to seal up holes, but the guy did not do that at all. He just casually looked around and said he didn't see any entry point, and he didn't even bother or do this until my husband asked him to during the second service because he didn't do it the first time around. After 3 treatments, we still have a mice issue and it was seriously affecting my mental health. We decided to go with another company and they were able to find an entry point during their first service. Don't waste your money and go with another company even if it is more expensive. I went with this company because I was being cheap. Never again will I do that again for a pest exterminator. read more

First off if you have an issue for example mice or roaches they can come fix it immediately but what is even better their preventive treatment plans no lie makes sure you never have issues in the future even if you aren't the cleanest or in the midst of remodeling. Mid October, our kitchen had evidence of a potential mice infestation and we began using simple traps (Sticky Pads, Non-lethal bait traps, etc) but we decided to contact a professional after 3 weeks of still seeing evidence of mice while only capturing two. Going online, we found several companies that could potentially handle this problem. We ended up going with MD Pest Patrol because 1. $80 was a good price point for us and 2. They were the only ones that answered our phone call in a timely manner. We let them know our issue and was told "Yes, we can handle that!" We made an appointment the next day (Nov 3rd) and the time would be anywhere between 10am and 2pm. The exterminator arrived at 1:10pm. He was polite and wore a mask the entire time (at the time of this writing, the COVID pandemic is/was occurring). We showed him the areas that the mice had been seen and where droppings had been left. He began to tell us WHY the mice are showing up (cold weather, the smell of food) and began placing down five traps (4 lethal with a peanut butter bait, and one non-lethal with bait). He then told us to (to paraphrase) "Give it a week" and that "depending on the infestation, you may have to call us every week or two weeks, or eventually every month." At no point during the visit was it discussed on WHERE the mice were gaining access from. Additionally, the traps that were used were ones that we could have purchased from our local hardware store for potentially half the price and set ourselves. The visit felt more of a 'Come in, set traps, see what happens' instead of a, per their website " inspect your home and discuss where we believe rodents may be entering into your home, and more importantly, what can be done to PREVENT NEW ACCESS" As of this writing, it has been five days and no mice have been caught yet. EDIT/UPDATE (11/26/2020): No mice have returned, so our problem has been solved. We did get a phone call back ~7 days after the traps had been set and we asked if any mice had returned. Previously, I rated this two stars, but because of the follow up, have bumped this up to three. TLDR - The price point was appealing, they answered our call and made an appointment promptly. But for $80, we could have purchased and set the traps ourselves. At no point was there any discussion on WHERE the mice were entering nor any preventive measures to keep them out. read more
