Stopped in for the first time and had a great experience. The staff was welcoming, the food came out fast, and everything tasted great. The karaoke crowd was a lot of fun, and the DJ kept the night moving with great energy. I also liked that they have pool tables, darts, and even ping pong, which you don't see very often. So we did some Secret Squirrel stuff and held a 50th surprise birthday celebration there earlier this month, and it worked! No one spilled the beans and I genuinely believe he was surprised. We had some tables reserved, played some darts, had control of the music box, had some great drinks (in my case Old Fashions), but most importantly... we had fun catching up and hanging out! The atmosphere was fun, the service was great, the ladies behind the bar knew their stuff and how to keep the drinks flowing! There are a lot of poor reviews on and I'm not sure what this business has been like over past year. With that being said, I've been here twice for the last month and I'm a fan. It's a sports bar so expected a lot of dudes and TVs. The bartenders, whom are all women (do with that, what you will), have always been inviting and attentive. I would urge people to give this place another shot, it sounds like management has refreshed the crew because we have had good service here. Also, they make a Caesar salad with little crunchy pieces of chicken. Why is no other place making these salads this way! This is a great place near where I work, so we go here frequently for happy hour. There's a large bar, plenty of seating (rather uncomfortable chairs, but I can deal) and two big ping pong tables, which is awesome. Parking is easy, along the side of the building and behind with a lot. What I like most though, is the FOOD.. the menu is extensive American fare. You can get their delicious, crispy fries or fresh salad with any meal. My favorite is their chicken caesar wrap -- perfect, without too much dressing. I do wish they offered more on the menu with whole wheat, like sandwiches or a whole wheat tortilla. The prices are a little steep for this type of bar, especially charging extra for a salad choice -- huh? Otherwise the menu is great. Patrons might also want to know that Mary Kay Laterno, famed for mixing education with relations, very well may be your bartender here. She actually seems really nice and down-to-earth, and people are very respectful from what I've heard. If you're in the area, have lunch here, play a few games of ping pong, and enjoy! read more

This establishment is ridiculous and I believe they are promoting illegal shenanigans-- whether it be prostitution or drugs or under age sexual advances, or all of the above. After reading all of the yelp reviews, I'm confident that what happened to me and my friends was unjust, discriminating and completely wrong on so many levels. The way were treated was disgusting! We, three 40+ year old Moms who were out for drinks and conversation were sitting at a corner table talking-- completely minfind our own business and never made a sound to the rest of the bar, were kicked out for no reason, no incident, no one was drunk, no one had made a peep to draw attention to ourselves. Yet, we were humiliated with one guy coming to our table demanding that we leave RIGHT NOW! We asked why and he said he "couldn't tell us why. Just that the girls told him we had to leave" This guy was rude and demanding. We asked to talk to the manager, and we were able to. The guy played dumb. "Well. E have to do what the girls say." Are you kidding me? You're going off what these 21 year olds say verses what we are saying and what the cameras will show? Ok cool. I'm taking this to the next level. I ordered a drink and it was a different bar tender than I've seen before at this time of day. She was very abrupt and I tried many times to get her attention. I am of age and I enjoy popping into pubs to check out the food and clientele. I tried many times to ask for a menu (which I shouldn't have to) and she totally ignored me. Oh but every guy that bellied up was offered a menu right off the bat. Then a guy was interacting with her and she immediately told him to fuck off and called him a dickhead. That shouldn't be happening in any establishment no matter what! She was unapproachable after that and I scratched off my $5 tip to $0. She had way too much attitude even from the start. I'm a big fan of sports bars, but trying this spot for the first time, I would not recommend. Very clearly a locals only bar for primarily older people. I came in as the designated driver after going to the barcade across the road. They denied service to one of my friends because she was "swaying" in line. This actually translated to her not acting like a 40 year old biker's alcoholic girlfriend (she was actually having fun). Speaking as a fully sober person, she was absolutely not intoxicated, but it seems like this must be a tactic for keeping people away. Surprising, given that we are all around 30. (Not a bunch of dumb kids) Regardless, I won't be back, and don't recommend it. Too many options that are better trained to not ruin your night! read more

Went there for one shot and were threatened by three people saying we should be careful for wearing "those colors in this neighborhood." This isn't gangland. Our pinball jerseys are orange and black. Been coming here for years. It's been a while for me (I live in Arizona). Greeted by a very friendly bartender, Crystal. First time seeing the new menu. Ordered the Jimbo Double Cheeseburger. A delicious Double Cheeseburger loaded with Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion. She recommended to top it with an egg. What can I say? The burger came out with fresh cut French Fries. It was DA BOMB!!! Couldn't believe how big the burger actually is in size. 2 people could easily eat this. My friend ordered the wings with a Salt and Pepper seasoning (not on the menu). Good sized wings. They were quite tasty. Crystal was amazing (all the bartenders are very friendly here). She kept checking on us. Had a jello shot for dessert. For $2 you can't beat them. Use to have quality bartenders. Was great in the pastn today not so much. Came in and sat down by the pool tables and literally waited for what seemed to be at least a good 10 minutes and watched the bartender literally help everyone completely ignoring me. Decided to get up and use restroom and moved to where she seemed to be focusing her attention. Finally came over and took my order along with other people's orders. I ordered a beer and the cheesesteak. Proceeded to bring everyone else's drinks and walks past me with what later turned out to be my beer. I continued to wait for my drink a good 5 minutes or more after I ordered and watched as it stayed sitting at the bar while she continued to help; I assume we're her regulars. Got her attention finally when she asked what I needed, I proceeded to remind her of what I had. When she did come back with my drink she gave the excuse that she just had surgery, which is fine. At this point I proceeded to point out that she had my drink on her tray when she gave everyone else's drinks to them but she walked past me with my drink still on her tray. She then said she could only carry so much due to her surgery which is fine, except she bypassed me and brought my beer back to the bar. Then sadly I got my order but is was incorrect I had ordered onion rings instead of fries I printed this out and said she didn't hear me even though I was very clear. Was so unhappy I left. She seemed very indifferent and rude. Even addressing me in a rude manner when I decided to leave. I Adrressed the issue with the Manger on duty who said he would handle it and comped my bill. I'd give this place a zero star if I could. Last Saturday was the first and last time I will ever go there. Apparently it's ok for their bar tenders to add an extra tip to your bill because they don't think you'll notice? My friend covered the tip in cash for the drinks I bought us on my card. I'll be filing a fraudulent charge through my bank. In addition, the service was a w f u l. My female friend and I got straight up ignored for several minutes while the female bartenders focused on flirting more tips out of the middle aged men sitting at the bar rather than help us. She also forgot to put any liquor in my friend's drink. It was a liquor and soda drink, so how is that really so hard to remember? I've been in the service industry for over a decade. We visited last week shortly after the bar opened for the day. The first thing we noticed was the smell of stale beer. The menus we're sticky and dirty.......the tables were not only not set up, but not even wiped down. Our waitress did not know what kind of beer the had on tap.........shouldn't this be a job requirement? I worked in the restaurant industry for MANY years and was shocked as I had heard such great things about this place. One of the people I was with made the comment, "if they don't even clean the menus, do I really want to eat the food prepared here". We didnt , we had a beer and left. This place has turned into a crap hole. They cater to the degenerate drunk more than the average middle class person who wants to go out for a drink. The last time I went there, my wife and I sat down at the bar, and were ignored for about 15 minutes while regular after regular walked up to the bar and got served. One of them was literally a tweaker who was rubbing his last two dollars together trying to figure out what he could afford. The food is overpriced, and inconsistent. The stains and filth on the menus should warn you away from eating anyways. Even if you do order food, if there are more than 6 people in the bar it will take you an hour to get it.
