I can't say enough good things about Luis from All-Star Towing here in Santa Rosa. I was stuck in a tough spot--literally--in a pretty remote area, and after calling around to a bunch of companies, all I got were excuses. Everyone acted like they were doing me a favor just answering the phone. Then I got in touch with All-Star and they sent Luis, and man, this guy was a total professional. Super respectful, friendly, and you could tell he genuinely cared about helping people. He didn't complain once about how far out I was or make me feel like an inconvenience. He showed up fast, handled the job like a pro, and even took the time to point out that my tires were looking rough--and let me know that All-Star offers tire services too. I want to HIGHLY recommend this company. My car was stuck, due to an electrical issue and my steering wheel locking, in a downtown Santa Rosa parking garage for over a day. No one had a tow truck small enough to clear the parking garage my company uses for our office. Three tow trucks later, they were able to get my car and tow it to the dealership. They were kind, patient, helpful and communicative . From the office staff working with AAA, to the driver that came out and finally the owner of the tow company himself, they literally rescued my car, and me. I was stuck in the mud in my lowered car, the tow truck got there and pulled from underneath my car instead of tow hooks on the front, which would have been fine if my car wasn't lowered, it warped my $400 dollar lip and broke all the brackets on the left and right side of my front bumper. He ended up only pulling me about 2 feet then told me it was going to be "3-4-0" (his English wasn't the best, after some negotiation he confidently told me and my girlfriend "2-0-0" was acceptable, then got in his car, then came back out with his manger or someone on the phone and took back his offer, when I questioned him on why he changed the price he said "it's Mazda Miata not worth anything, which I think is unprofessional and complete bullshit. I paid 340 for a broken bumper and to be pulled 3 feet out of some mud. read more

This review is long overdue. I contacted aaa for service and they quoted me 90 min. My daughter had locked herself out of her car . I called around and everyone stated that they didn't have a driver available or the wait time would exceed 90 min. I called All star and spoke with Jesus explained my situation and he arrived in less time than he quoted me and the price was affordable!! He saved our day. I don't mean to sound like a Karen but no other place has disappointed me like All-Star Towing has. I don't ever leave a bad review but I feel really inclined to share my experience in detail for the sake of others less knowledgeable than me. This review will be long and detailed so that there can't be any room for false justification. (Just in case these scummy artists attempt to falsely justify anything) I'm an average 20 year old college student who had crashed their car in a freak accident. Police dispatch called up All Star Towing to get it off the streets but their terrible towing skills cosmetically damaged my car much more than me physically crashing it and having it flip over completely did. I let it slide because towing a car off the road can be tricky. My car is pretty beat up so I call them up the next day explaining I would like to sell the car off for money and am told by one of their agents I'd only have to pay about $395 for storage and towing fees if I come in on Monday, then when I do show up on Monday, I'm asked to pay $815 instead. Without much explaining, I'm also handed a Transfer of Title application... Me, not knowing any better begins to sign away, BUT before finishing, I ask them if I can at LEAST retrieve a 3rd party stereo system I had personally installed in the car. They refuse to let me, saying that other than my personal belongings I've left behind, I'm not allowed to remove any parts or mods physically attached to the car, including my stereo. I'm also told that even after paying all towing and storage fees, I still won't be able to remove anything attached to my car due to vague BS safety and "liability" reasons they kept coming up with. I refused to finish signing and I step outside their office to call up Cream's Towing and schedule the removal of my car from All Star Towing the next day. Then I go back inside and pay up another $85 for another storage day. (That's a grand total of $900) One of the butthurt office workers not knowing I had paid for another day was bold enough to rudely tell me I need to come in before 10AM tomorrow or else they'd throw my car out onto the streets before his coworker corrected him. Not once did I disrespect any of them. I definitely think the people who work here could've handled my situation much better but looking at all the other reviews, this seems very common. I'm just an average college student and not knowing any better, almost signed away my car to them. What doesn't sit well with me was the fact that this can happen to anyone. I'm left with the impression that All-Star Towing is a business ran by unprofessional crooks who lie and misguide to take advantage of those who don't know any better. I only wish PD had called up any other towing service, It was very unfortunate. I don't ever recommend coming here, unless you want to get screwed over of course ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ Cream's Towing and Dismantling, on the other hand, HELPED me remove any and all the parts that I wanted from my car and even paid me for the rest that I didn't want. We were stuck on the freeway in the dark with cars zooming by us. Luis came all the way from South Santa Rosa to the far end of Healdsburg in 22 minutes. He gave us advice on going to get a free computerized diagnostic check in the morning at O'Reilly's. He cares about his customers. The next day we broke down on a very busy intersection. This time I requested All Star Towing. I was again surprised at how quickly the young men got there after we switched from a company that was going to take a few hours to get there. The workers were patient while we called around to find a shop that would take the car after the other one fizzled out. They were kind and understanding. We called Sartorial Auto Repairs and they took it! Within an hour they replaced our filter and called us with the reason it kept breaking down and said it will be ready by tomorrow! I recently had to have my boyfriends truck towed. I wouldn't think I was asking for anything too crazy, but after going through multiple companies refusing to tow it because it was "too big" all star towing took on the job. They were quick with a quote, showed up sooner than the ETA time given, arrived, loaded up the truck, with no questions asked. At the dealership they helped me with drop off and filling out paperwork for after hours drop off. Both guys that showed up were very nice as super helpful. I had to call the office for an invoice to send the warranty company and the lady that answered the phone was super helpful as well. Will 100% use again in the future for any towing needs. read more

My Harley Davidson motorcycle would not start after I put on the new exhaust system and had to get it back to the shop for an upcoming trip. I called Geico to see what they can do for me and advised me they have a reputable contractor on hand that could be there within an hour. The way my vehicle was dropped from the tow truck at tow yard damaged my rear right passenger wheel bearing. my car died in the fast lane and I barely made it to the shoulder. All Star Towing was there in less than an hour. Both technicians we very kind and helpful. My windows wouldn't close so the driver attached a battery charger and was able to get my windows closed. Since my car was sitting at the shop overnight I was very thankful. Towed my AWD Subaru without a flatbed or dollies after requesting it (manual explicitly says you can't tow them safely this way). Call someone else and have them do it right. Also glad I got video of them driving away without dollies if they're is something damaged should be a easy win in court. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. I was told they were coming to tow me per my insurance they said they would be there in 20 minutes. After 30 minutes i got a call that they were unable to locate me, i gave them the road i am on, the address i am at, the two cross streets that i am in between, and the name of a restaurant across the street that i can see from where ii am sitting right now. After waiting almost 40 more minutes i called geico and they told me that the towing company cancelled... so they just fucking left me out here on the side of the road without even a courtesy call to let me know they werent coming so that i could find another tow. Had to be the worst service I've ever had they are all liars none of them communicate I called a total of 3 times the morning before I drove down there to clarify it was only 100 dollar gate fee after hours. I was told to just call when I got there and they'd send a driver to open the gate. As soon as I got down there I called and she was no help even after stating I had talked to the lady in the office. I drove 400 miles and the lady wouldn't even come help me the driver was very rude and unprofessional she lied multiple times and I still haven't gotten anything out of my car .
