Thank god I contacted a smaller, local mechanic who was generous enough to come to my house, fix all of my wiring and replace damaged parts for HALF of the price of Mountain View Tire. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. All in all, I will not be coming back and would not recommend coming here for anything, including oil changes. I came in for a simple oil change last month and was told I urgently needed front and rear brakes. I agreed ONLY because they had advised me it was urgent, and unfortunately ended up paying $750 for the job (NOT including the $147 oil change) They charged $205 per set of brake pads, plus $80 for labor (front and back each) and a $135 brake fluid exchange. The problem is that my boyfriend and I looked up the brakes that were used and they retail for around $63-$72, so why I was charged $205 each? Who knows. I was obviously taken advantage of. Thankfully I have the money to be able to afford this but not everyone does and it's sad to think of all the people (women especially) who are victims of this. I highly recommend going anywhere but here.
