I can say that immediately you feel safe in his presence and it's very clear he cares about ensuring people are safe and FEEL safe in their homes. He is a former cop and it shows. He is someone with the experience and instincts to really understand safety and that was very apparent in our conversations. He's not a salesman - he's a security expert who knows what you need and is honest and direct. He didn't try to upsell me on excessive unnecessary items like other companies. He asked about my goals and truly sought to understand exactly what I wanted before giving his suggestions. I asked tons of questions which he answered thoroughly and patiently. The best part about the experience was he could instantly tell I was shaken up from a previous incident and was so compassionate while still being direct. He talked to me about how to keep myself safe in case of another break-in given the layout of the new house and improve overall house safety in other ways. He even noticed the doors weren't installed correctly and missing tiny parts that make a door super easy to kick in. You don't always get more bang for your buck and it's definitely much more expensive than a DIY Google Nest self install, but I will sleep better at night knowing I got the true expert advice I needed to keep myself and my home safe. Due to the permitting system in the area and the issues with the owner of the house I lease there may be issues with getting one feature but I am going very out of my way to find a way to get what he thinks I need. There was a mother that left her children in a car and the kids were screaming because it was hot. Cameras did not work! Then my neighbor got robbed and her windows were broken my cameras again were not working. To many trouble shooting. I wish I could get out of my contract. Which is another thing I'm upset about. I signed up for a two year contract when I started but when you have equipment installed please read the fine print. I thought I signed my name for a service completed nope not only did I sign for a Installation of cameras but another two years contract The service man just gave me a paper to sign but didn't explain what I was signing. When I said I wouldn't pay that much they waived the fee. Sounds like a good thing, but felt more like a scam to see it I was dumb enough to pay them. 2) they would not honor monthly charge they provided in writing, even when I read the contract back to them. 3) the system did not work, alarms going off in the middle of the night the first 2 days after installation. 4) customer service is not good. Long waits with lots of transferring so I could explain a problem all over again. 5) Because of the above problems I cancelled after 2 days and within the 72 hour cancellation window. They offered to lower the cost for 6 months if I stayed but the experience was so bad I declined. Was told someone would call to pick up the equipment and that my first month fee would be refunded, I called back 1-2 weeks later to check on the status of my refund and was told to be patient. Now 6 months later they are still charging my credit card. When I called to complain I was told I hadn't followed the prescribed cancellation protocol, despite confirming my cancellation with 3 different individuals. When I asked if they thought it was right to charge a customer who never used the service and had called multiple times regarding cancellation, I was told "you signed the contract." So BUYER BEWARE, this is not an ethical company. Take your business elsewhere. I gave them one star because a negative number is not an option.
