Needed to find a Korean bbq ayce place in the area. The place itself was clean, tons of selection, and the service was fantastic. The meat quality was ok, but get the marinaded meats because the ones without had no flavor at all. The only downside is that there isn't a lot of sides - only 5, and the portions of meat they bring out per order is very very small depending on what you get (one had 5 inch pieces lol) All in all, would I come back? Yes. The price was 100 for two people, tons of parking, the meat quality was ok, and the service was great. Make sure you know what you want from the beginning, because it's likely the only time they will see you. The meat quality is not good, so it's better to order marinated meats to cover that. A solid ayce Korean bbq spot that offers a variety of meats and side dishes! My standard go to orders are the beef brisket and beef belly (pro tip: combine both on the grill for a perfect balance of fatty and lean meat). I especially liked the cilantro banchan, which is not something I've commonly seen in other kbbq restaurants. I also enjoyed the honey rice cakes, grilling them gave a nice crunchy and chewy textured. Dinner prices were expensive but comparable to other ones in the area. I've been to All That Barbecue a number of times. We came on a Wednesday evening recently. Check in with the tablet next to the hostess area. The wait time was about 25 minutes for our group of four. Through Yelp, it will tell you what place you are in line to be seated. We had enough time to go next-door to buy some snacks at 99 Ranch market. We were seated in a booth near a corner. Unfortunately, our grill had a low flame and it took forever for our meats to cook. A couple of the staff tried to fix it but it sounded like that particular grill was problematic. This made it for a longer outing for sure. Good thing not all of us were hangry. We appreciated how the staff assisted all of the tables as one team so that we didn't have to rely on one staff member. They helped move things smoothly. Everyone was nice and provided friendly service despite it being busy during the dinner rush. There are no tiers of meat items like other restaurants. That's what I like about this place. We enjoyed the brisket, beef and pork belly, filet, rib meat and baby octopus. The tofu soup is decent with just enough spice for me. The banchan side dishes were not that great though. The kimchi tasted old on its last day before it gets tossed in fried rice or soup. What's up with the chopped cilantro with dressing as a side dish? Don't get me wrong, I love cilantro, but not just by itself with some sauce doused on it. We will be back when we need a local KBBQ place. read more

Came here for lunch and was unfortunately so disappointed. We originally wanted to try the $30 lunch price however we wanted galbi and that is only offered on the dinner menu which is a total rip off and does not offer many more options for an extra $10. The meat quality of the galbi was very poor. It was chewy and the marinade did not taste good. Basically everything tasted just okay and had little flavoring. For 3 people it cost about $130 so I wish we'd spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere with better quality meat. Finally a quality AYCE KBBQ place in Irvine! :') Visited for the first time in so many years. Solid banchan, yummy salad, and good service. I came here for a weekday lunch and the place was pretty empty. Clean and spacious. Servers are nice and attentive, and they bring the food out pretty quickly after you order. The brisket and pork belly are nice and thin, just the right amount of fatty too. You get a choice of a small plate or a large plate, and the large is more than enough for a party of 4. We especially liked the seasoned boneless rib meat (Don't Rib Me Off) - super flavorful and tender! The menu item names are cute and unique too lol. Establishment is clean and comfortable. Staff was very professional and attentive. I've been here many times, though this will be the first review I have posted of my visit. This location is a tried-and-true, wont disappoint. Very standard kBBQ location with great quality. Personally I recommend beef belly or tongue at kBBQ locations. As with other AYCE, try for yourself and see which items you like best. Meat quality is all good. Service is quick and responsive. I recommend finishing your meal with the Winnie the Pooh's snack (rice cake with a side of honey). Put it on the grill to get it soft and chewy, then dip in the honey and enjoy! Celebrated birthday for with my kids. The restaurant is busy with lots of sizzling meat cooking. Every table has a grill for each dining party to cook up the meat. The dinner price included ribeye and filet. The dinner menu also had many other cuts. The naming of each item was clever. We polished off many plates of brisket and pork belly. Salad & kimchi didn't seem that fresh anymore and fish cake was a bit hard so we wondered how long it's been exposed out there. We skipped the side dishes and grilled the meats. The meats were ok: nothing to rave/complain about. We noticed they weren't proactive about changing the grill as well. On our way out, we noticed more empty tables with the side dishes and salad already sitting there... Only the second one I've ever been to, but based on my prior experience which was also great, this place was a step above. $39.99 all you can eat for dinner seems like a steal when you see the freshness of the ingredients they serve. Our table host was very helpful and made good suggestions for dishes we should try. The only knock is that our grill got really dirty and could've been swapped out, but they were really busy and we definitely could have asked. The food was not bad for AYCE. Some meats were a little tough like the chadol. We overcooked the galbi but I imagine it would've been good if we hadn't! The marinade was lighter than I am used to but at a AYCE, I get it that they cant marinade for so long. The ribeye was definitely our favorite though. The scorched rice was the biggest disappointment. It was super soggy and not very hot. Service was good! The server was great, and explained to us how to order. It is a big space with many tables. It was busy so there was a lot of noise between people talking and the sound of plates hitting each other from the kitchen. I took away another star because of the noise coming from the kitchen. It's been a while since I've been here. Last time was during COVID. I came on the weekend so I could try some premium items. My favorites were the Umami explosion and the Ribeye. This place is too pricey to just be average. The marinated beef belly and beef bulgogi was somewhat too sweet and the quality was just okay. This place is nothing special, and I likely won't be back. My server was nice and attentive, but my grill was never changed. Many slices of beef belly showed the arteries and although perfectly safe and normal, it did kind of spoil my appetite. The place is small too, bathrooms weren't disgusting but could be improved. We couldn't even finish our meat... was my first time paying a fee because I just couldn't bare eating there much longer. Bro didn't charge us per plate, he probably knew we were unhappy. Ambiance: bare bones. if I had to be nice, this place was clean. But that's bare minimum. Service: I just felt bad for bro. It wasn't even particularly busy when we entered too. Forgot our drink (which was watered down when it arrived), a straw, and a grill change. Anytime we needed anything, it felt like all the staff were deliberately trying to avoid eye contact. And we paid 95 + tip... could've spent that at Baekjeong.. or a fraction of the price at Top Grill... ANYWAYS don't come here!!!!!! It wasn't until I walked towards the back of the restaurant to use the restroom when it suddenly struck me that I have in fact been here before. Apparently it wasn't anything memorable or good enough to get me to come back and today was just another reminder of why I never did. Once we were sat it took forever to order our first round. While waiting before we ordered and after putting in our first order, I picked at the banchan. I enjoyed the cilantro, but that's 'cause I love cilantro (sucks if you have the soap gene). Both kimchis and japchae were standard. The potato salad was incredibly bland. Meat quality was good, but nothing special. The brisket was very tough and dry, but brisket is a gamble sometimes. I liked the boneless short rib; thick rib meat and tender. Their pork belly was much thicker than your average KBBQ spot which was great. I finished the meal off with some tofu soup. A little bland, but it did have clams in it which was a nice surprise. Pro tip: If you have any rice paper laying around still, I toss them into my soup/stew. It's like big sheets of rice noodles!! Overall nothing memorable and slow service. My nephew's girlfriend found a dead fly in her salad. Dude didn't really say anything more than just an "ok." He replaced her plate/chopsticks, but we had to ask him for the salad again. There's MUCH better KBBQ to be had in North OC, but I can't really think of another AYCE KBBQ restaurant in Irvine so I guess there aren't really any options to choose from unfortunately. read more

After dining, I knew exactly why the change. The meat quality went down so much and there was basically no service. Every time you want something, more meat, water, or change the grill plate, you need to keep looking for waiters. We tried a lot of meats but all of them were chewy and rubbery. Staff: Our server was pretty nice. The lady at the front was okay. We asked to sit near our family/friends who were sitting at a specific table. She had already wanted to sit us in another area. The lady obliged but seemed a little annoyed at our request. Quality: We got the Skinny Dipping Cow which was a thin beef. This one was delicious. We also got the Best Cow in school which was a thicker meat which was my favorite. Lastly we got the Don't Rib me off which was a marinated and thicker meat. Though it tasted really good the quality of the meat was not good. It was extremely chewy and hard to eat. Value: It's been awhile since I've had Korean bbq so maybe I forgot the cost but for 3 people it was $120 without tip. To me that is expensive. Overall: This is a cute place with plenty of seating. The bathrooms need an update with scratched tagging on the mirrors and rust on a metal plate on the walls. Went to All That Barbecue with my wife and another couple since we are big KBBQ people and wanted to try something different. Heard some good things about this spot and honestly it was a pretty solid experience overall. They only have one menu option but for the price you get a stacked selection, filet mignon, ribeye, brisket, bulgogi, pork belly, short ribs, all the heavy hitters. Like c'mon. The cuts were thick too which was nice. The sides were kind of a letdown though. They have corn cheese but it was mostly just a pile of cheese with like ten corn kernels. We had to ask for more or at least a full order since that is one of our favorite sides. No gyoza or edamame either which was kind of a bummer. Their sauces made up for it though. The spicy red sauce had a good kick with a unique flavor to it and the brisket dipping sauce was super flavorful with jalapenos and garlic. The teriyaki beef and filet were definitely the best ones to get. The brisket, ribeye, and short rib were not bad but just not super flavorful and the brisket pieces were a little too thick. Our server was awesome and really on top of it the whole time. I would go back again and just hope they improve the side selection a bit. Solid meat and a good time overall. So my husband and I decided to give this place a try and I thought it was good base on some of the review I read before choosing this place. Let's first start with the service: The service was subpar, our waiter was very attentive and helped us making sure he got our order in . The host sat us down right away which was cool since it wasn't really busy . BUTTTTTT what gave me a bad taste was when the food runner was handing our food. The gentleman seemed annoyed and didn't care about his job . He basically kind of threw our food as if it's like a " here you go, this is what you get " kinda vibes felt really rude someone like that should get retrained on how to treat customers better . Now for the next part the meat. The meats we ordered were ok but it felt like as if they were cutting the meats half fast . The filet mignon meat we ordered have very uneven cuts some were big pieces and some were small . The bulgogi meat was cut very uneven as well, it was a bit difficult for us to cook it because of how stuck together the pieces were and again it felt rushed . The kimchi and the kimchi cucumber were good tho. I'd say the only meat they cut perfectly was the brisket. Everything else felt so rushed . I mean I get it, it was almost closing time and you guys were trying to make sure you get out all the orders out in a properly matter but at least make sure it looks presentable. Now for the ambiance. The place itself is nice , spacious and lots of tables for people to sit down at. The one thing I can say is the tables could've been whipped down a bit better . I mean I get it oils from the grill pop off and makes the tables feel slippery but I'm sure there's a cleaning product that can help with that . But everything else was pretty good where we sat was good. But would I come back i don't know maybe not right away maybe if there is no other option I'd come back . But for now I won't. I had kbbq at two different places before All That Barbeque and I honestly found the meats to be very distasteful and was making me think if I even liked kbbq anymore. However, I went to All That Barbeque with some friends and I am happy to report that I do in fact still love kbbq. Their meats were so juicy and tender, especially their beef belly and steak. I also usually don't eat intestines but they were honestly delicious. Also the service was insane, our waiter was taking our order (probably 6+ items) and he memorized it all and we got the items in less than 5 minutes. Not a single item was missing and it was a busy Saturday night. Our waters and sides were constantly getting filled as well which was greatly appreciated. Just pick the grouped items and the corresponding price to it and you get to order as much as you like as long as you finish everything. For me quality of meet, the Bonchon (sides) that they come with and the dips/sauces matter the most. Here they had a good medley of sides and I liked their spicy sauce that it came with so that was all I wanted to see. They gave good slabs of Ribeye steaks but just be careful because the portion is large enough to where you won't be able to try anything else. All That Korean BBQ is easily one of my go to spots. The food is consistently great and everything comes out super fast, which makes the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The service is also on point, staff is attentive, quick to help, and always keeping the table moving. The only downside is that it can get pretty loud and a bit hot inside, but that is honestly expected with a busy Korean BBQ spot. It does not take away from the experience at all.
