(I asked her how she was doing, very nonchalant behavior). We spend almost $40 for a 18 piece which didn't include drinks or fries. (Was told to ring up individually). At first we were gonna dine in. But the atmosphere wasn't giving any type of welcoming environment. So we asked for Togo. 18 wings , a fries all stuffed in a small little lunch box. All for unreasonable price! I paid for 48 wings half medium/half chefs special and two batches of fries. Let me just say it is ridiculous to charge a fee to have two different sauces. 50 cents for what??? The extra 20 seconds to grab a different sauce bottle? I had read pretty bad reviews so I decided to check my order before leaving. Upon opening my container of wings I asked my roommates if they thought they looked dry. We all agreed they did so I went up to the cashier girl. I ask her if we could possibly get them tossed in more sauce. She says, "What about just two sides of sauces? Let me get my manager." This tall young man hoovers over me (I'm really short so it instantly felt like a man trying to intimidate me) and says he's the manager. He doesn't ask me what's wrong or "how can I help you?". Verbatim I say, "Hi, I'm sorry but these wings we ordered are pretty dry and so I asked the cashier if we could have additional sauce." I show him the wings and he replies, "These sauces soak into the wings. Have you even tried a bite? Try a bite before I give you more." Seriously? You want me to open my wings and place them where? The counters that have been exposed to several guests during a freaking pandemic? I retort back, "I've been here many times previously and this is not consistent with orders I've had. These are expensive wings so I would appreciate getting my money's worth." The manager rolls his eyes and says, "but we charge extra". Please look at the online order options screen shot I took. Where the hell is there an option for extra sauce??? Long story short he walks to the back and comes back with two 2 oz sauces for FORTY EIGHT WINGS. I tell him thank you anyways and he doesn't even look me in the eye or acknowledge me. I think it's pretty wild that I was treated like I'm someone trying to get a freebie I paid 50 cents for split sauces and 75 cents each for three extra ranches. Never before have I been more sad that I didn't order more food, in this case, amazingly crispy, flavorful wings. I thought it'd be a good idea to *just get the six piece* and when they were all gone, I sat there and stared at those 6 bones with regret. They weren't small wings either, these were wings from some pretty healthy chickens! Pro Tip: Always, ALWAYS get more than you think you'll want and if you actually have leftovers, then save them for later. I'm a dry rub kinda gal, so I got 3 of the ATL style rub and 3 garlic pepper (omg soooo good!), and my husband, the smart one, got a 10-piece with 5 of them hot sauce, 5 with hot cajun sauce. We split an order of ATL seasoned fries, which were great too, and the ranch was on point. This will be our new go-to wing place. Service was great - the gal that took our order was so helpful and our food came out quick, within about 5 minutes if I had to guess. I'm glad they opened one up in the west valley, and I hope they can keep expanding further west, like in Goodyear and maybe Surprise, but I'll take what I can get for now and keep coming back!
