    Carob Cake

The restaurant is nice and clean inside. The food is healthy! Don't go here wanting soul food in the traditional sense. I love the spaghetti, chickpea chili, squash soup and the Belizean potato salad. I usually order on Uber eats but my family tells me you have to order ahead (40-60 minutes) so your order can be ready for pick-up..

Spent 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon driving to this place in a sketchy neighborhood. Obviously the proprietor does not value her customers enough to let us know that she's CLOSED FOR THREE WEEKS!!! I checked the website before going, and again after being disappointed. It would have been so easy to put a notice on the website and show a bit of respect. I wonder how many others wasted time because this place does not care about customers.

a piece of cake and ice cream

I had a sweet tooth. let me tell you. this apple cake & vanilla ice cream DID IT. it was so good! i wasn't expecting the cake to be raw cake, it blew my mind lmao. the ice cream was perfectly sweetened. great balance! nothing was too sweet. Mann that combo was so good, i started feeling bad for those who just ride past All The Way Live Cafe & have never tried their food. Though, I must say.. the prices are painfully high for the amount of food that you receive.

Avocado salad, not what is described on the menu

Where to begin, ordered the nut burger, sabgi and two avocado salads for pick up. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes for the order to be ready. My suspicion is they started making the order when I walked into the restaurant. They gave me the house salad with no dressing with half of an old and brown avocado. $13 for that salad, see the picture attached. Very disappointing. While I was standing in the place there were 4-5 people waiting for their orders and a few people at tables also waiting. I hope they can get their act together. Germantown needs some good restaurants and the quality and the service was not something people will be looking to come back to. And there is a 10% credit card fee. So bring a lot of cash with you

The delicous and savory Chickpea Chili

The service can be slow, but the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish is worth trying, but the Spaghetti and the Chickpea Chilli are a must. The desserts are divine. The owner, Bev is friendly and gracious, but I wish she would hire someone to work the dining area to speed up service.

Cool atmosphere shared with good company, paired with refreshing drinks. A huge shoutout to the attentive staff who went beyond to make the evening special. While everything was tasty, standouts were the deep flavors of romesco in the albóndigas and the crunchy texture of the oyster mushroom tacos. Full order included guacamole fresca, sweet plantains w/ aioli, hearts of palm tacos, and chorizo stuffed poblano pepper. (not pictured). Bonus: the menu clearly marks gluten-free options. It's great to find a place that feels authentic while remaining entirely veg-forward. If you're in the city, stop by for a taste of Puerto Rico.

Getting seated and taking our order were comic (read: frustrating) "Who's on first" ordeal. To make matters worse, my friends ordered guacamole only to lear a few minutes later that they could not serve it because the avocados did not meet their standards. We appreciated their insistence on serving quality ingredients, but were annoyed the waitress was unaware the item was unavailable. The food we managed to have - yucca appetizer, breakfast tacos, big breakfast, and cauliflower tacos were good. In short, the food is good but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle. It may be worth the trouble for strictly vegan folx.

The vibe is horror movie chic, if ya know what I mean. We were greeted and seated promptly and immediately checked out the menu to see what we should try. We asked for the macaroni balls as an app, but they were sold out. A few minutes later, we were told we could order them bc the chef had made a new batch. Yay!! So, we started with the Mac balls and seitan Korean wings. Our apps arrived and I must admit. I enjoyed the seitan wings more than I did the Mac balls. The Korean BBQ (seitan) wings had an amazing sauce that truly made me forget I was at a vegan restaurant. They were crispy, savory, and just delicious. I decided to go with the gyro and my partner went with the cheese steak for his entree. My gyro was yummy! The impossible beef, lettuce and tomato were reminiscent of a regular gyro. I truly couldn't tell the difference. My partner loved his cheese steak too. Monster vegan is a HIT!! Would we try it again? Absolutely!!

"Even if you're not vegan, go," she advised. Making a day-of reservation for 9:15pm on a Saturday in June, I walked in and was seated right away by a kind staff member. Within minutes, my glass of water was full and my equally kind server was walking me through the menu. The menu elevates vegetables and they source their ingredients from 16 farms nearby. (Most are in Pennsylvania.) Not overly hungry, I ordered two mid dishes and a dessert. (The menu is organized by small, mid, large, and dessert.) Each dish was masterfully executed and full of flavor. Suzuki Farm Kyuri Cucumbers were perfect. They come out as four large cucumber halves with all the fixings. Don't be shy. It's easier to eat them with your fingers per recommended by my server. The next dish was the Urban Roots Farm Sugar Snap Peas. The crunch of the peas with the wasabina oil complimented each other well. For desert, I ordered the Bomboloni with pistachio cream. The warm texture of the dough and creaminess of the pistachio cream was divine. I ordered another. It may be my favorite dessert I've ever had at any restaurant anywhere. If you love creative and quality food, go here. You won't regret it!

Brought out new clean plates a few times and explained everything as it was brought out. The favorites on the current menu for me were the beet salad, sweet potato, stuffed pepper, and mushroom. The sweet potato cashew cheese dressing was just so creamy and rich. And then for the sweet potato, the yuzu buffalo sauce also stood out with a nice sweet, tart, and spicy concoction. For the cavatelli, the biquinho peppers were new to me and gave a unique flavor and texture with the pop. As a big fan of ras el hanout spice mix, I wished it had more strength on the cauliflower plate. Every course was fresh, light, and most had multiple layered flavors to excite your tastebuds. Some amazing flavors and combinations by the chefs. Some of the sauces were exceptionally clever and the presentation and colors really enhanced the experience. All around great dinner, thanks.
