All Time has been a real gift through the pandemic. Firstly, every meal I've ever had here has been spectacular. They use the highest quality ingredients and create exquisite dishes. My All Time favorites are hands down the smoked brisket and charoset they offered up for Passover, as well as the lamb ragù and focaccia burrata they have more regularly on their menu. If I could afford it, I'd have them every week. I also recently tried their new pizza, and they nailed it. The crust is perfect and then throw on cheesy, salty, pepperoni goodness and yes please. They also have a really interesting wine list. I once tried this amazing Athénaïs de Béru wine at All Time and keep hoping they bring it back--delicious! Further, the All Time team are just really cool people. Owners, Tyler and Ashley serve up a dose of realness and transparency not often seen in the restaurant world with their emails. They've really let us in and allowed us to be a part of their journey of highs and lows throughout this pandemic. Came here with my husband to have dinner before seeing a concert at the Hollywood Palladium. We made a reservation online for 7 PM and we were sat right after we got there. The servers were really nice and knowledgeable regarding the wine list and food. We love that the menu changes daily, and there is always good things to try. My husband had the lamb pasta for dinner and I had some Italian dumplings (forgot the name). We got an amazing wine recommendation from the server and we had it with your food. For appetizers, we had the Japanese potatoes, which were extremely delicious, and really filling. And for dessert, we had the chocolate cookie, it was the softest and most chocolate-y cookie I've had. The interior decor is spectacular. The lights are always them, and it really truly looks like your backyard with lots of greenery and trees surrounding us. That location is great, however, there are a lots of apartments nearby so parking is difficult to find. If you get lucky you will find metered parking spot right in front of the restaurant. I had date night here the other night after multiple friends recommended this place. I'll start by saying I was a little let down. We had the good ass salad and the ceviche first. I personally didn't love the salad. It wasn't anything bad, but I felt I could've used the money on something better and much more flavorful or exciting. I also did not enjoy the large pieces of cucumber. I really wish they had chopped the ingredients up a bit more. Ceviche was good but nothing special. However, I was BLOWN away by the pork shoulder. The flavors were incredible and the plate was large! We each had wine by the glass and my partner got a red which was so unique and wonderful. It was a bit like if you wanted a sour and wine at the same time. Very cute atmosphere and all outdoor seating. I would recommend dressing for the weather if going at night. Parking was fine for us but it seems to all be street parking. Overall, I do think it was overpriced for what we had and service was slow. I want to give this a 4 because the pork shoulder was so good, the place was cute, and the red wine was good. I'm not sure I feel like it's quite a 4 considering everything else. The food and atmosphere were very enjoyable. But we felt rushed when the waitress plopped the bill on our table, without asking if we wanted it, while we were all still eating. And even more rushed when she returned two minutes later with the card reader machine. This was at 9:00 pm on a Tuesday; they were neither hurrying to close the restaurant nor did they need to turn over the table since there were plenty of empty ones. One of my favorite restaurants! Everything is always delicious! I live in Venice Beach but trek through LA traffic just to come here! I love that the food is farm to table and I always have positive experiences with both the servers and hostesses. The restaurant itself is so cute and they have heaters all over for when it gets chilly at night. I have never disliked something I've ordered here so you truly can't go wrong! Otherwise, you'll have to pay someone off to rent the space! * Yes, it's outside dining, but still great in the rain and cold. Plus, you're dining alfresco under the stars! * Choose a bottle of wine over ordering it by the glass (they have WAY fewer offerings by the glass anyway). It's worth it, though $$$. * Their Wine Bar is closed for renovation and isn't open as of March 2023. It might reopen later in the year, per staff. * In the day time, grab a selfie or photo in front of the vintage Flower Shop sign it's right next to! * No valet. Street parking. Metered and residential options. No permit needed. Only street sweeping signs. So by LA standards, not Full review: The cozy atmosphere at All Time is on another level. The little nooks and crannies are perfect for a first date or romantic interlude. Speaking of atmosphere and cozy vibes, we can't wait for their next-door Wine Room to reopen! Even though it was slightly raining outside while we dined, it felt magical and warm enough to be under the stars and in the fresh air eating and drinking alfresco, on a late winter day in LA. We ordered the burrata to start, but to my guest and me it lacked flavor, seasoning, and personality. The bread it was on was exquisite, fresh, and obviously made in-house or by a local artisan, but it felt too thick of a chunk, which took away from the cheese itself. The tomatoes were also slightly off--admittedly, not in season--and the burrata seemed too runny to me, though that was more forgivable than the need to request salt to offer it any flavor. I was so sad that my favorite go-to elsewhere, AKA "sex on toast" or "caprese salad on crack," didn't have enough character, and we had to send it back, but the lamb ragu and sweet potatoes we ordered instead were divine, exploding with flavor, and quickly made up for the burrata bomb. Most importantly, our server was amenable to our requests, gracious, and was probably the most impressive server I've had when choosing a bottle of wine. He was like a wine psychic, listening to what I said we wanted to drink and bringing us EXACTLY that from a more local, exclusive vineyard in Northern California, and in our price range. I've never had a server hit my wine order out of the park like that. Ever! And I used to live in France and drink plenty of wine both there and here with my meals. Even though the burrata was off (undoubtedly, others might love it, just not us! I am so sorry, Chef Paul!), the service and ambiance were over the moon and the food we eventually ordered delicious. Plus, we were allowed to stay for a full two hours without being asked to leave. I love to dine and never be rushed. And this request was met and then some! (Make a reservation! It certainly helps.) Finally, I must offer a special shout out to the hostess, Tatum, for being the quintessential "host with the most"--please give her a raise and promotion STAT! She was very genuine, kind, sweet, professional, and beyond accommodating. She was very human, in the most beautiful way, and it made me feel at ease and excited for my dining experience. I can't stand fake niceness at a host stand or aloof hostility and pretension. Tatum was none of that--she was pure loveliness, making me feel at home or like I was about to dine among friends. I must also shout out our waiter, whose name now eludes me, since I was more focused on my date, as the night went on. But for any manager reading this or Chef Paul himself, I think our server's name was something akin to "Larsen" or "Holden" or (??)... Please give him a raise, too! Or a trip to that awesome NorCal winery he suggested or a master sommelier class. He's a gifted œnologist in the making. Thank you for a great experience, overall! This place is popular and the line was big. We worried we might not get in before closing but it all worked out and we were seated quickly. You order at the registers and then take your number to your table. Customer service was great and they were very busy. Prices are reasonable especially when you see the serving size. I got the B.O.A.T and it was delicious. The meal was meatless but filling nonetheless. The addition of the white sweet potatoes made it very hearty. My other friends got the breakfast burritos and they enjoyed them as well. We ordered a French toast to share and thankfully it was to share (SUCH A BIG SLICE). Once you sit the staff is very attentive, but the girl at the front taking our order was rude. Was back in LA for a short stint and had to do brunch (minus the bottomless alcohol) LA style with one of my gal pals, who also appreciates LA brunches. I had to hit up the hippity to the hip spots so with a throw of the dice, we went for ALL TIME (love the name). When I lived in LA I would hit up HOME and ALCOVE on the same block but always wanted to come here. Finally we went with this spot and zero disappointments. First off, the staff was super friendly, great service and the food display was on point. not to mention the amazing orange YOLKS and WAWA WEE WA! I felt a burst of rich nutrients rushing through my veins after I finished that (okay, that was exaggerated). But look at the pics, you gotta admit, the food looked nicely plated (this review could be abit skewed because I was happy hungry). The eggs with the beans and cheese quesadilla finished with the french toast and fresh berries swimming in syrup was all that I wanted, (all smiles btw). Pros * Nice environment/ambiance * Love that they focus on farm to table * Service prompt and courteous except approaching closing time, when it seemed like staff wanted us to leave * Some good gluten free + dairy free options (see "good ass salad" below) Cons * Price - the price is just too high for the food served compared with other great brunch places in the area. * if you love a good iced tea, this isn't the place. The iced tea is mediocre, served in a tiny glass, and priced per glass. Feels a bit like a money grab The food- French toast - just "ok". Thick sliced, but the outside isn't crispy like Republique and the middle wasn't as moist as I'd expect. Salmon bowl - sushi rice wasn't cooked right, tasted a little like undercooked pasta texture. "Good ass salad" - this was good and can be offered gluten and dairy free One more thing. The two bathrooms are in a small hallway and they ask that no one wait in line for the bathroom in order to stay out of the way of the staff. Most tables don't have a view of when people are coming in and out of the bathroom, so if you need to use a bathroom, you may have to get up, check, and come back to your table multiple times before you luckily land on a time when a bathroom is available. Came here for brunch on a Saturday with a group of 6 around 11am and were happy to be seated after just a short wait (maybe 10 min or so). The outdoor seating at this place is decorated beautifully, and it's also very dog friendly. We ordered before sitting down and got numbers for the table, and the food arrived pretty soon after we ordered. Everyone was really happy with their food! I got this platter (pictured below) with quesadillas, beans, eggs, veggies and sweet potatoes - all components were cooked to perfection.
