    Pancakes are really good here

I've been to Lady Byrd Cafe multiple times now and it truly never disappoints. It's one of those places I keep coming back to, not just for the food but for the entire experience. The ambiance is beautiful, relaxing, and just feels like the perfect escape whether you're catching up with friends or having a slow brunch with family. It has that elevated yet comfortable vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. As for the food, everything I've tried has been consistently delicious. My go-to orders are the Luxe Plate, which is a smoked salmon bagel plate that's both fresh and satisfying, and the steak and eggs. The steak is especially memorable... perfectly cooked and packed with so much flavor. It's rare to find a spot that delivers both great food and atmosphere every single time, but Lady Byrd Cafe really does. Definitely one of my favorite brunch spots and always worth the visit.

I almost didn't want to share this place... but it's just too beautiful not to. This café truly feels like a hidden forest escape in LA. The moment you walk in, it's full of greenery and cozy, magical vibes--like a little fairy garden tucked away in the city. I even brought my dog, and it made the whole experience feel even more relaxing. We ordered the lemon poppy seed pancakes, eggs benedict, and pasta, and everything was honestly so good. The presentation was beautiful, and you can tell they really care about the details. Even the tea was served in the prettiest teacups, which made the whole moment feel extra special. There's also a hidden outdoor patio area filled with flowers, and it feels like a secret spot you accidentally discovered. Perfect place to unwind, take cute photos, and just enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely coming back especially want to see how it feels at night

If you care about elegance and the vibe of your meal, a special date, or creating a great memory while visiting LA, you need to try out this place. This hidden gem features a garden-style setting with beautifully arranged décor and tableware, perfect for photos and lasting memories. Their smoothies are a must to pair with your favorite food. Lady Byrd Cafe is a literal dream! We sat on the floral patio and the whimsical garden vibe is unmatched. It's the perfect aesthetic spot for a brunch date with the girlies. What we ordered: * Breakfast Salmon Tart ( flatbread-style puff pastry) * Salmon Benedict * Chopped Salad * Side of Prosciutto * Earl Grey Tea & Cappuccino Everything was delicious and the service was great. If you're in Echo Park and want a beautiful garden atmosphere, this is the spot!

We recently visited Lady Byrd Cafe and it's honestly such a cute spot the theme and overall aesthetic are really beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. We arrived right when they opened at 9am, and unfortunately, the service was extremely slow from the start. It took a while just to receive menus, then even longer to get drinks about 30 minutes in at that point. After that, there was another delay before anyone came to take our order. Once we finally ordered, the food also took quite a long time to come out, and when it did, it wasn't hot. We were seated outside, which may have been a factor, but it's still disappointing to receive cold food. By then, we had already been there for over an hour and had an event to get to, so we didn't have time to address the issues. With a bill of $87, you do expect a certain level of efficiency and quality especially since part of dining out is paying for the convenience and service. Overall, it's a lovely place with great potential, but the timing and food quality really need improvement. No one likes cold food or waiting to get staffs attention.

This neighborhood gem was a fantastic dining experience for our party of nine. I cannot given enough praise to this place. We dined for lunch on a Sunday. We had a reservation and our wait was not long. One could feel the energy and vibes all the way to the street. When we were brought to our table we passed by numerous really large parties. One in particular had over 30 patrons. Our seating was really comfortable. Rain was expected and we were lucky since there was no covering where we sat. Other parts of the restaurant were inside or covered. Our waiter was really great. Gave recommendations and was really patient and helpful. I ordered the Smoked Brisket Pastrami sandwich. It was a decent size, not huge and really well seasoned and flavorful. It had a tasty unique sauce, not overwhelming, with excellent presentation and served at the perfect temperature. I also ordered the Caesar Salad. It was huge, probably enough for three people (although I ate the entire dish and it was so good). My other guests ordered eight other dishes and everyone was really happy with their meals. This restaurant is nearly hidden but for a small sign. It is behind foliage except for the entrance. It really is a neighborhood place to dine but I'd recommend it to anyone within driving distance. All parking is on the residential streets and we were lucky to find a spot about 75 yards away. Other members of our group parked farther away. It's a friendly neighborhood with several other outdoor dining establishments although this restaurant felt like the best. I highly recommend dining here for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

One phrase comes to mind when I think of Lady Byrd Cafe--"hidden gem"! The ambiance makes you think of grandma's cottage meets a whimsical fairy tale garden. The floral plates and decor are a welcome comforting change from the typical neutral based interiors that have overtaken LA interiors. The waiters are adorable and warm with lots of smiles that make this a perfect spot to reenergize your soul. Ok, onto the food. I got the Lady Byrd Burger which came with two patties and fries. Delicious. Absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to my next visit with friends!

While the atmosphere appears appealing for date night or brunch, the service was unsatisfactory. We tried calling for reservation and received an automated message of full inbox. Upon arrival, there was no one greeting us nor signs showing where to wait to be seated. When our host (the only server at 10 AM Saturday) finally sat us, we were not informed of shortages of specialty menu until we placed order. Then we had to check the menu again. The food arrived and tasted without uniqueness. Additionally the price for 1/2 an avocado at $4 and prices for the small servings on each plate were much higher than the quality. The pancake and frittata we chose were not common menu items, yet they didn't have much texture nor amount to enjoy. Would you pay $20 for 2 pancakes slightly mushy and not flavorful?

I have been back here a few times since my first visit. It's a fabulous outdoor cafe. They've updated the decor and menus since then which is more beautiful. Honey Yogurt $12 Beautiful presentation! Loved it! Steak & Eggs $28 Served with choice of bread, blueberry jam and butter & Pamolona potatoes Smoked Brisket Pastrami $22 Thinly sliced brisket. One of my favorites! Beef Burger $23 Made with Grass fed beef. Added a sunny side egg to make it a brunch burger. Latte $7 Customer Service is wonderful!!

Fettucini Alfredo. $24.43. Chicken breast, asparagus, white sauce & Parmesan cheese.

We ate at Lady Byrd Cafe for a brunch date and it was such a great experience. Even though this place is famous for the greenhouses, we actually sat closer to the bar area, and the vibe was still so charming and full of that "secret garden" feel. It's located in Echo Park and just has a really cool, welcoming atmosphere. We decided to do the $33 brunch special, which is honestly a steal for how much you get. I chose the Salmon Benedict for my main the spicy hollandaise was perfect. It also came with silver dollar lemon poppyseed pancakes and French toast with honey cream and strawberries. That blueberry jam on the pancakes was delicious! My husband went with the grass-fed beef burger, which was really fresh with the Lady Byrd aioli, and we also shared the Fettuccine Alfredo. It had chicken and asparagus in a really creamy white sauce definitely glad we added that on. To drink, we had a Chai Latte and a Macchiato, which were both so refreshing. The staff was super friendly, and even sitting by the bar, we had a great view of the whole sun-drenched patio. It's a perfect spot for a slow morning date; we'll definitely be back!

I've had this place on my list forever and finally got a chance to come and it was so worth it. The whole restaurant is so whimsical and pretty, such a cute vibe from the moment you walk in. We came for dinner and ordered the chicken panini, bolognese pasta, truffle fries, and cheeseburger. Everything was delicious, but the cheeseburger really surprised me in the best way. So good. We also had an espresso martini and a strawberry margarita, and both were perfect, not too strong, not too sweet, just right. The ambiance is ideal for a breakfast date, dinner date, or just a chill night out. It feels cozy, romantic, and welcoming all at once. The staff was super nice and made the experience even better. Already planning our next visit.

Service here is fast & friendly too! Located in a neighborhood adjacent to Silverlake. There is street parking only. Bridgerton vibes!! Very pretty decor. Food was yummy too! The hummus was very good to share and the sandwiches were very well seasoned!

For dessert we ordered the blackberries & butter cake. It was served with a frozen blackberry basil jam which had the consistency of a sorbet and basil whipped cream. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.

I had many questions, and both he and his team addressed every single one with patience, care, and attention to detail. It's clear that Dave was born to host events! That level of guidance makes all the difference when you're nervours... that patience and guidance it's exactly what you want in a venue partner. Prank was an excellent choice for our event. The location is fantastic, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the drinks and food were outstanding. Thank you so much. We will absolutely recommend Prank and keep it on our radar for future events in LA.

The open patio, the bar area and how it wraps around the corner where there is a smaller intimate section. The music was awesome, the bartender has a great pour and the people seemed to be really having a great time. As I look around I see there is an open upstairs area that looks down onto the first level. So cool right? I had a conversation with two regulars and they swear by the menu. Plans are made to come back and I must try the food when I do. Cheers!!

To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar. Overall, it's a cool spot with a menu that feels unique to LA.

The food had a perfect balance of flavors. The tacos de papa is topped off with salsa macha but the spice was not overpowering. My favorite was the ribeye taco. The owners and waiter were very welcoming, hospitable and kind. 100000/10!

It's located within Hauser & Wirth which I discovered is an art gallery. When you walk through the building and enter the restaurant, it's such a big open space and doesn't feel cramped at all. Such a nice ambiance with lovely greenery and decor. Perfect for celebrations or a nice date out! Great for photos too. Across the way from the restaurant, there's even an area with fresh herbs being grown and you can even see a bunch of chickens! So if you come with little ones, they'll be super entertained and will have a great time here. We ordered a whole bunch of food and split everything. Upon seeing so many reviews for the cornbread, we had to get that and wow wow wow it is so worth the hype. Unreal. We had to order 2 because it was that good. Smoked albacore dip, ocean trout tartare, and louisiane shrimp aguachile were all good. The cara cara salad was diviiiiiine, so unique, it's a salad of oranges but it had such a unique flavor and had a slight kick to it. It's one of a kind! Both the grilled yellowtail and hangar steak were delicious, the steak comes with two eggs. Both cooked to perfection. Got a side of grilled asparagus, this one had an interesting twist with seaweed. Tasty but other dishes shined more. We ordered so much food and everything had such a beautiful presentation and was really delicious! I would come back here again in a heartbeat. One of my fave restaurants in LA, by far. Service was great too!
