We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!

I asked for pics and that they'd not drop the pan until I knew what they found. I showed up 3 days later to find the truck lifted and the pan off. When I told them I was taking it somewhere else, they said come back in an hr. I asked about the fluid and the mechanic said he'd put the old stuff back in. I told him to at least fill it to spec. When I came back to get it, they lied and told me he filled it to spec and told the service writer (in front of me) to "get this guy outta here." They didn't want to give me any paperwork but I requested it to see what was in writing and they said they'd filled the trans fluid to spec. I asked the other shop to let me know what they found and they confirmed my suspicions, there was only 1 quart of nasty fluid in there. There are plenty of other shops, don't go here!

We had never been there before, but I had just had new control arms and ball joints put in and since the tires were also brand new, my mechanic who did that work recommended an alignment. AZ Automasters kept the car overnight and my husband picked it up the following day. My husband stated that he asked the employees if the alignment was off and by how much, and that no one could answer his questions or seemed to "know anything about anything." But he did say that the employees working the morning he picked it up were not the same ones who were working when he dropped it off. He didn't leave feeling super confident but they said the car was done so he left and that was that. This car is kept in a garage, has not been in any accidents, hit any curbs or anything of that nature, and is well loved. I have put 8000 miles on the vehicle since the alignment. The other day we realized that the tires should probably be rotated and were horrified to notice that the outside of the passenger front tire was completely bald, the inside of the tire barely worn. We went over to where we purchased the tires as they are warranteed to 80,000 miles, but because they deemed it an "alignment issue", I had to purchase a brand new tire out of pocket. Not only did I waste $118.00 at AZ Automasters as they did not complete the alignment I paid for, I'm out an additional $145 for a new tire and still need to get the car aligned. I'll certainly be getting alignment, but it won't be at AZ Automasters. *Edit* I just had a front end alignment at a reputable shop where the employees actually care about their customers. They had to take a torch to the tie-rod jam nuts as they were totally locked up on both sides. This would NOT have had to be done had AZ Automasters done the work they were paid to do a year and a half ago. Also, this shop, who did the alignment using lasers, was able to show us via computer what they adjusted and how much, which AZ Automasters could not do for us. And this new place was cheaper! He said I was the first person in 5 years that had asked for prices to be matched from another nearby mechanic shop. He even said that the prices that they quoted me, that I should go to the other shop instead, was a $60 difference by the way. Was also told by Ken that I wasn't a good customer because I had only done one oil service with them in a year and a half. Will never give Crawford's my business and they're just another auto shop that's dishonest and takes advantage of their customers. Hard to find integrity these days!!

Call back at 5:40, close to closing and I'm told it's ready. Come in as I'm paying, over $2k mind you, Bryan asks if I'm aware of the light that's on. I tell him no because no one has called me about anything. I assume he meant the low oil level light that was on and it was no big deal. Walk out to my car and my check engine, engine malfunction, low oil pressure, red oil can and my console screen telling me to pull over immediately is all lit up. I go get Bryan, he comes out and looks. He says it's not a big deal and that it's safe to drive. A mechanic.....is saying it's safe to drive with all those warning lights on. I ask him if it's safe to drive and unbeknownst to him I'm recording this entire conversation on Facebook voice messenger and when he says that the shop will be liable for anything that happens if I drive off I figure okay, I'll drive it home and bring it back in the morning after I work. As I'm leaving trying to turn left on baseline I almost get tboned by a jeep because my car will not accelerate. Take it back, livid, and leave it with them because what choice do I have? Days go by and we have to practically beg them to keep us informed. I can't work without my car and because of them I'm out over $2000 in lost wages. Throughout this they try and tell me it's my fault because I wasn't keeping up on oil changes and that's causing issues. I have receipts for every oil change I've gotten and the miles put on the car between them, don't tell me I'm not keeping up on my oil changes. After a week and clearly everyone and their mother that works at this joke of a shop they found the problem: the incompetent moron who worked on my car connected the wire harness wrong and it was causing my car to go into limp mode and light up everything on my dash. Over a week it took them to figure this one out. They probably could've opened up ChatGPT, put the issues in and gotten a result faster. I'm not a mechanic but I feel like if a car was working fine when it was brought in and after we worked on it it was quite literally undriveable I would triple check every. Single. Thing. I did to said car. I would keep the customer informed multiple times a day on what was going on instead of making them feel like they were completely forgotten about. Clearly these guys didn't care enough to do so. Don't EVER take your car here, they will screw up your car and not even care enough that you are out of work and costing you your livelihood. 10 days my car was in that shop. 10 days, for something that should've taken one and that's being generous, all because of their complete incompetence. Side note: not all Christian brothers are trash, my sister took hers to the one in San Tan Valley and they were amazing. This one is just horrific and they will be getting reported to the BBB and the AG. I am honestly astounded at how awful this place is.
