Jason and his team at Stapleys are truly amazing. For as long as I can remember I've dreaded taking my car in for any work because mechanics often see me (a petite woman) and take advantage of my lack of car knowledge or just treat me differently than male customers. Several months ago a friend recommended Stapleys when I had a concern and I found them to be really kind and just all around really good guys. I opted to make them our regular mechanics and have gone in for several things (on both my car and hubby's) since then. Each time they've gone above and beyond, doing a thorough check on our vehicles, ensuring they were safe and in great shape. Most recently we needed to add a hitch and wheelchair carrier attachment to my car and as always, Jason and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. These guys are experts at what they do, gentlemen who are a pleasure to work with and some of the kindest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting. Made an appointment for a front end alignment at Stapely's Garage based on a recommendation.-Was able to get in within 24 hours and was then in and out in about an hour. There is a comfortable waiting area with AC and we were offered complimentary bottles of water. The guys were very thorough and showed us (via computer) what needed to be adjusted as far as my alignment, which was NOT the case with a previous shop I went to. Everyone here was very nice but I went into get my battery replaced and it was $350. That sounded really high to me to so I called around and most places were cheaper and I saw it was because they charged to test my battery and voltage. It seemed others didn't charge for that service. So then I just decided to call the dealership with the list of recommended services and they were surprisingly cheaper on just about all of it. I grew up always thinking the dealership was more exspensive then going private. I was either lied to or this place is just a lot. read more

Fantastic experience. Within the month of December 2025 Stapley's Garage efficiently and transparently completed a break job on on my MINI Cooper, then completed a much more complicated coolant / oil filter housing repair, saving me $1,000 compared to what MINI of Tempe quoted, all true and I can provide the actual documentation. Last and most important ... MINI of Tempe suggested I needed to replace the engine thermostat ASAP, which regulates the engine coolant system. MINI of Tempe, their quote being $2,600 to replace the thermostat. I asked Stapley's Garage to assess the thermostat while fixing the coolant housing and they found no signs of the thermostat needing repair, which was validated by the fact no engine warning light was engaged, which would happen if the thermostat was failing. Has I simply accepted MINI if Tempe's suggestions, I would have spent $3,500 unnecessarily. I found Stapley's Garage based on a search of repair garages based on positive reviews and am thrilled to be a new / loyal customer. read more

I love to give credit to great customer service when it's due! Stapley's Garage has some of the kindest and most helpful mechanics I've ever met. I was washing my sister's car just across the way when I realized she had an extremely flat tire. Rather than risk driving down to a gas station to get air, I went what was right next door to the car wash, Stapley's Garage. As soon as I walked in, even though both guys at the desks were on the phone the smiled to recognize I was there. Once they could help I explained the dilemma and asked if I could pay them to fill the tire up with air. The guy said air was free and as soon as a tech came in, they'd get it fixed so I could be on my way. I didn't catch the name of the mechanic who helped me, but he was so nice! He quickly took the tire off the car and inspected. Sure enough, a dang nail was in the tire. He patched the tire and let me ask all the questions I wanted to as he worked. As he inspected the other tires, he let me know that they were pretty worn down and I should look into replacing them soon. He didn't try to push or sell me on anything just was honest and happy to show me how I could tell the life of the tires and how to tell how worn they are. I let him know it was my sisters car but I would pass along the message! I loved how kind and non-pushy these mechanics were especially because being a young female at a car shop, often that is not the case. Being the niece of a mechanic, I often send my friends his way, but I definitely will be adding Stapley's Garage to my list of recommendations! read more

So here is the long and short of it. Bought my car at a dealership, went in for my first oil change, was told I needed brakes. With the level of wear they quoted me I wasn't happy about it and decided to find someone closer to do the job. My buddy who usually does my brakes was not available and when I called in, Brandon was friendly and quoted a fair price. Got me in the next day. Here's why you choose RAD. Next day I drop off my car, Brandon gives me a ride to work, and let's me know he'll call to see if we need to do rotors along with the brakes. He calls me back and drops a bombshell. My car doesn't need them. Has at least most likely another year. So not only did my dealer lie to me, but Brandon is the honest one in this equation because he could have taken the money and ran. He just earned a customer without earning any money. On a side note, as a single gal here in Phoenix, finding someone who won't rip you off because you carry a purse instead of a wallet is tough. i've been going here for a couple years and have had amazing service. they recently got new management who gave me the worst service i've ever received. i got quotes the last time i came in and they "lost" all of my info and refused to honor the quotes i previously received. they charged me much more than i had been quoted. i brought my car in for some maintenance and when i got my car back my check engine light was on which was not on before i dropped my car off. i had no issues besides the routine maintenance before i gave my car to them. they took no accountability and told me it would be $1300 to fix the check engine light. they told me i was lucky they ran the code and didn't charge me like i am completely unaware i can take it to O riley's or pretty much anywhere and they would gladly do it for free?? they threw on extras fees i have never seen anywhere i've gone and when i asked them i was told they "legally" had to charge them. the front desk men were extremely condescending. i will never be going back and would not recommend to anyone. brandon, my quote was given to me three to four months prior at my previous oil change, i was advised to get this work done at my next oil change which i did. not 1 year later. you would not have given me a quote knowing you would have to charge a much different price at the time of the service. if you do have my records that's very interesting because i was told they were lost, i know what i was told. there was work i wasn't able to get done on my car because they didn't have the records and i wasn't sure what the parts or service was called. my check engine light was NOT on when i dropped my car off which is why i didn't say anything about it. i would have asked you to run the code if it was. read more
