I am 5 ft even so any dress I get is going to be too long. I took it in, it might have taken her 5 min to mark the dress. It was a very quick process, the dress was ready a week later for $65 which seemed a bit much but didn't feel like going anywhere else. read more

OMG! I'm super impressed!! So my shoes were a little rough looking when I came in... tbh. The toes were worn down a lot and the heel caps were pretty much nonexistent. :( They're my favorites and I can't find a good replacement. I was afraid the next step was the trash and I definitely didn't want to do that! When I picked them up they looked like brand new shoes. I'm not sure how they did it but AMAZING job!! I've been here before but it's been a while. I will definitely be back next time I need ANY kind of shoe repair! I would recommend them to anyone! read more

I went to this Shoe Repair shop called Alla because of the great responses off of Yelp. The quality of work was just OK at best. It seems to me that this family owned business really could use more help. I dropped off two pairs of my favorite boots to have the heels and sides repaired. The owner's son told me they would be done in one week and it would be $80. I was cool with that price and time. So, I actually give this place 10 days before I go picked up my boots expecting greatness and my boots looking brand new as the owner's son stated to me. Not so much! First off, my boots were no where near fixed. My BCBG booties had not even been touched and my knee high boots had black shoe polish stuff all over them. Now, I will say this....the owner's Daughter is now helping me and states that she will make sure that everything gets taken care and to pick them up the next day. I give them two more days and it looked like my boots were scrapped up and painted over and done in a hurry. Hello, my boots have been there for two weeks and two days!!!! Very poor workmanship. And I told the son that I will not be paying $80 for crappy work. He complied and was gracious. Needless to say, I'll be taking my shoe repair business elsewhere. read more

Very pleased with this place. Decided to give them a try instead of my regular guy. My regular guy would have charged less but getting to his shop is not convenient. They didn't get 5 stars just because I thought the price was a little high. My wife disagrees. I took my Des's shoes in that were really beat up. Asked for new full soles, heals and upper refinishing. They charged $70. While waiting to pick up the shoes I saw three really good looking pairs on the shelf and commented to myself how nice they looked. To my surprise, one of them was mine. One stop shop for quick and quality shoe repair and tailoring services! *SAME DAY (15 minute) shoe repair! I was so excited to find that I did not need to throw out my favorite, broken-in, most comfy pair of heels because the nail was exposed on the bottom. For only $11 the nice woman behind the counter fixed my heels while I changed my clothes into the ones I wanted tailored. I was able to walk out of the store with my beloved heels on! She also fixed a different pair of heels that I recently purchased and did not have the actual heel all the way screwed in. This also was during the time I was changing clothes to be altered! I had a pair of pants, a dress, and a blouse tailored and repaired there as well. They were ready before one week and when I picked them up I was also very pleased! Again, quick and quality service! Everything fit perfectly and I am very happy with the nice customer service I received. I will absolutely be back for all of my shoe repair and tailoring needs! :) read more

This lady is so kind, very efficient, reasonably and fair priced, and did my alterations perfectly. I had her shorten jacket sleeves, where the buttoned cuff had to be removed, the lower sleeve shortened, and the cuff replaced. Also had her shorten a pair of slacks that had to be taken up at the waist rather than hemming them. All her work was quality. read more

I bought a lovely $15.00 dress to wear for my birthday lunch next week. I know it needed a small hem. I am not rich which is why I bought a $15.00 dress. The tailor told me $22.00. I begged him for a lower price ..That is a very high price for a hem. I said can you do it for $15.00.He called his mother and she said NO. I live in a middle class neighborhood here in Frisco not a million dollar one. If we lived outside the DFW area this hem would be a lot less. So I went to a tailor Plano and she is doing it for $14.00, How mean and greedy people are today.I swear this happened and I will never go there again for anything. We really need to get out of this rude town. I wish I could afford a $100.00 dress and not have to care what it costs to be hemmed. read more

I do not like writing bad reviews, but I have to warn other customers. I took a pair of shoes here that needed a new zipper. They recommended replacing both at $10 a piece/$20 total, and to come back in one week. They took my name and phone number and wrote down the quote on the receipt. I went to pick up the shoes a few weeks later on my lunch break, and they had not touched the shoes. They calimed they were confused as to what I wanted done. I showed my receipt gave a quote of $20 for two zipper fixes, and asked why they didn't contact the number I left on the receipt. They apologized and said they would fix them in 20 minutes (this was on a work lunch break) I returned in 45 minutes to find him still working on the shoes, making me late for work. They still aren't fixed, but are "manageable." The only reason there are two stars is that he didn't charge me for half fixing the shoes. I do not recommend this place. read more

I took one brand new shoe to Alla's shoe repair shop, to be restitched(one stitch), the owners son told me it takes four days to fix it, and asked me to prepay, I paid $8.50. Five days later I returned to pick up my shoe, first of all the shoe could not be located, even with a ticket no., than I had to describe the shoe, after a while he found it. The shoe was not even touched. he asked me to wait ten minutes, so he could do the repair, I agreed. When I checked the repair at home I noticed, the shoe was not fixed properly, and the stitch came off. Being terribly upset and annoyed, I took the shoe back the next day and asked for a refund. The charge was refunded, and at this point I am looking for a a more reputablle shoe repair shop. read more

Not a pleasant experience. All of my shoes were not ready when promised. The shoes that were "ready" were not completed. I went back two times before they were completely done. Very disappointed. Worst experience ever. 3 months ago took a pair of boots to have heels refurbished. I loved the boots and was frequently complimented on them. Still don't have boots. They lost them. I've had to call and visit multiple times. They don't keep their commitments AND they refuse to reimburse me for boots until they can find them on a resale site to replace them. If you are brave enough to take anything to them, take a picture first and make sure you are ok never seeing it again. Disgusting business. Horrible service. I owned a pair of cowboy boots, they were a present from my wife 21 years ago, they've been through at least 8 resoleings so I know what to expect. I was in a hurry when i picked them up they were already 4 days past the week i was told and i had to wait when i got there so when they were ready i grabbed them and left. i'm a long haul truck driver and wear them at work so once on the road noticed they felt strange. it took me a moment to realise the cowboy boot heel had been replaced with a lower work boot heel, completely changing the boot. so i paid $125 dollars to throw away a pair of boots that i had loved for 21 years. read more

I have always been treated well there, and they have always done a great job for me. And if I have questions, they don't rush me and make sure I understand everything before I leave. read more
