I told him I wasn't paying that for four days of Internet and he chuckled. I hate when customer service people seem to get a kick out of fing with customers. Stay away.

That kind of understanding during a difficult time meant a lot more than I can properly put into words. He did mention a few additional deals that were actually very good, but what stood out was that he wasn't pushy at all. He respected the situation I was in and focused on helping me get exactly what I needed without any pressure. In the end, he set me up with the best plan tailored to me and my family. His professionalism, kindness, and patience made a hard day a little easier to get through. Terry truly went above and beyond and deserves a raise and a promotion. Then UPS turned us away because we didn't have the right information. Finally someone explained that their system was down and walked us over to UPS with the right code. This isn't my first time with issues in service quality and accuracy with Verizon. The Martinez location that closed down was also disruptive and caused extra work for us after the sale was made.

It is a scam. I was a Verizon customer, and AT&T told me that if I switched to AT&T, they would pay…read moreoff my remaining Verizon balance, up to $800 per line. Because of AT&T's delays in processing the reimbursement, I had to pay off the Verizon balance myself. Eventually, I received the reimbursement in the form of AT&T reward cards, but I was not aware that the cards would expire within six months. Now that I am asking AT&T to renew or reissue the unused reward cards, they are refusing. Their response is simply that, according to the terms and conditions, expired reward cards cannot be renewed or extended. This is extremely frustrating. The offer was presented as AT&T paying off my remaining Verizon balance--not as a reimbursement that I could permanently lose if I failed to use a reward card within six months. I switched carriers based on this promotion and paid the Verizon balance out of pocket while waiting for AT&T to fulfill its promise.
